A sunset with Elves and.... Tachyons?

The sun was setting in a beautiful orange sky, there weren’t many clouds that night to obstruct the view of our nearest star. The birds and the animals that were awake during the day fell silent and went back to their homes to sleep for the night, and slowly other birds and animals woke up and emerged from their homes to do what they do every night. And the same happened with humans, going to bed after a long day of work, study or just relaxing, and other going out to party, and a few more to work.
It was just your typical night as much as anyone was concerned. But as you would expect by now it was not. Slowly somewhere up above the sky was changing. Slowly it was starting to fill with tachyons and quite a lot of them. The area started to grow bigger and bigger filling the sky with more and more tachyons. Within minutes the field had spread to encompass all the sky around the nation and was quickly spreading towards the ground.
No one knew what was going on and as the tachyon field moved down to the ground and engulfed everyone and everything of the nation within it, it seemed that nothing was changing or even moving, as if time itself had stopped.
Slowly an anomaly started to occur, a feint signal of numbers came from within the tachyon field. The fact that it were only prime numbers made it all the more puzzling.
Sadly the only known nation with enough knowledge about tachyon fields and able to pick up the wierd prime number anamoly was the Federation of Technocratic Republics, and they entered yet another time of isolationism.
The wierd effects actually slowed down the time inside the tachyon field, but for everyone within it all seemed a little different but as if time itself was going at it’s normal pace. It did not appear as if the field would be harmfull untill things started to change. Trees and other things appearing out of no where, and other things dissappearing. As well as people and everything. And that is when the people started to panic, sadly for them it was over as they were transported somewhere out of time.
In a gleaming beautiful white throne room adorned silver and gold an male elf walked over a carpet approaching a golden throne on the other end of it. On the throne sat an beautiful and tall female elf with long blond hair and eyes as green as the leafs of the forest. The male elf bows to the female in the throne and speaks to her in Quenya. “It has been a success Taurevanimë. We used the ancient tachyon devices to transport ourself away from the destruction they themselfs caused.” She smiled down onto the male elf. “Excellent, I knew we could count on you Sailon. Were there any adverse effects?” Sailon looked up at the elven queen. “Well according to star charts we have gone back in time. We are unsure how far back, I’ll have a report ready in the morning.” Taurevanimë smiled broadly. “I’ll be looking forward to reading it.” She said and he walked away to start writing his report.
Taurevanimë got of the throne and walked outside onto a balcony, she looked over a beautiful view of her fair white city and forested domain with a setting sun on the horizon. “Thank you Eru.” She said and stayed to enjoy the view.
Ooc: Well that’s that. Diablo_NL is now officially gone and replaced with my new nation in an original way. My new nation will post here soon.
I’m sure a few of you won’t like it, but I’m going to play my new nation as if it had the population of my old nation. The reason is simply not wanting to give up all the time I spent in this and population I earned because the name Diablo_NL wasn’t pleasing.
Just see it as, Diablo_NL is my nation with population, I just post with my new one and use that name.
I don’t think it will be pop wanking since I wont be using Diablo_NL anymore other then pop reference. I had to quickly write this ooc attachment so it’s not well writen to explain the things, feel free to ask questions.

The night was peacefull and a sight to behold. Stars shining brightly amongst the black backdrop of the sky as a new comet entered the solar system, it’s tail alight behind it. And when morning came all the beauty was not gone, but replaced by the sight of the rising sun. And this is the time that Taurevanimë sat at her desk going over this mornings reports.
Her eyes darted open when she read that they have gone back further then expected due to their star charts, namely a few dozen millenia. She read the line over and ovr each time filling her head with more and more questions. Standing up now she once again walked out onto a balcony and looked over the view to come to terms with things.
Hours have passed and the day has progressed, the sun has risen high above the horizon and the sky was blue. Taurevanimë sat back on her throne again wearing a splendid dress laiden with precious gems, and so was her body covered in sparkling jewels with a beautifull crown on top of her golden hair. And this was the sight being broadcasted around the world.
“Greetings Elves and other creatures of this world. I am Taurevanimë, Queen of Taurenor, and I speak to you know from my palace.
We have come to this time in our world by using the very same tahcyon field that was destroying our nation. I say time because we come from a time that is yet to come, we know this is hard to comprehend for most of you but it is true.

- All personel to combat stations. Alert 2. All personel to combat stations.
The pilots were getting into their attack aerodynes and fighters, Airborne troops were boarding the high altitude dropships. Here and there maintenance vehicles ferried ammunition to the aircraft, carried the troops to their dropships. Similar scenes were taking all over the southern border. The airforce would be ready within minutes to make the first strikes and the rest of the TNDF would follow shortly. Nobody really knew what happened so far, orders came to prepare for a possible invasion of DNL territory.
Nobody knew why.
Everybody knew the Alert was at level 2.
Everybody knew that once it goes level 1, it would mean war.
Nobody knew why.
Everybody had their orders to follow...

The reaction of the Grand Duke was shared by the High Councilors. Nobody knew how to react. And how could you react? The previous day there was Shaul and William and a possible war in DNL. Today there was no more DNL but... an elven nation right in the middle of Sisgardia!
The Grand Duke only shook his head.
- Raise TNDF Alert level to level 2, prepare the 4th to 7th AirWings for an airstrike into DNL territory. And then... put on stand by everything that we can toss in there. I want the TSF 4th and 5th Battlegroups on stand by. I want their SODAT regiments on stand by.

The Cruiser Leveller coasted inward towards the source of the strange tachyons it had detected before. A simple prime number string transmission, though not clearly, and it was certainly an interesting incident. The ship prepared to begin holding station above the area, when it received a transmission...

The ships mind had no problem understanding the concept, such things were known to have happened before, but usually because of the alternate reality drives employed by the likes of the Eldar. This was interesting. A brief scan of the surface showed a difference in the level of background radiation that indicated that the area was several dozen me The ship was not equiped for diplomatic functions, and thus its reply would be brief.
"Greetings from the C'tan Starship Leveller.
We bring the Greetings of the C'tan Confederacy to you. We for our part, believe your claims, and would be interested in establishing relations with your people at some point in the near future. “Greetings C’tan Starship Leveller, we of the Empire of Taurenor will warmly welcome any delegate you wish to send to us.” Was a short message send to the ship.
Far over Sisgardia, in fact, over 2,000 KM away from the edge of the regional defences, a lone Thelasi cruisier flew. Silently watching everything that went on below them. Then they picked up the transmition, in seconds, the ships AI sorted the info and transmited it back to Thelas, where Athena then sent it to Empress Ithenril herself,
"Interesting, very interesting, Athena, is this real, or a hoax?"
"Milady, my avatar on the cruisier varified, other monitoring units have also picked this up."

Early the following day, the Shroud Class light cruiser, Dead Air joined its larger cousin, before slowly beginning to descend into the atmosphere, large wings at its side moving to form a flat surface - not the most structurally sound design, but the Shroud was designed to land, and thus it was necessary. In this case however, the ship stopped, a hovering behemoth of silver and golden metal over a mile long, and wider than it was long, seeming to glow with energy just outside Taurë Osto, the capital of Taurenor, hanging just above the highest treetops of the forest.
From the upper side of it issued a small vehicle, a shuttle which landed at the edge of the city, and out of it came a female elf, dark haired and dressed in elaborate golden and jade-green robes. She looked around for someone to introduce herself to.

Fëaelen was greeted by a group of Elves covered in in a green armor with swords hanging from their belts and guns in their hands, and they led her through the city remaining silent all the time. The city was beautifull white and some buildings were covered with silver and reflected the light. Throughout the city where many trees that looked centuries old.
Into the palace she was lead which was white and green, covered in silver and gold and some walls had paintings of great battles long passed.
The throne room was not much different but had a very high roof which had a painting of constellations unkown to the people of this night’s sky. The guards closed the door behind Fëaelen and stood beside it as guards.
Before Fëaelen was a long green carpet which seemed to be made of grass and leaves. At the end of the carpet stood the throne on which sat Taurevanimë in a dress as green as the new leaves in spring.
“Welcome to my empire. You seem to have me at a loss, you know my name, but I do not know yours.” She said which demanded respect and gestured her to approach her.
The Aelosian shuttle, after asking the right clearance, landed near the gleaming city of Taurenor, following close the Ctan vessel. Stilll cloaked it disabled the jamming field just near the surface, the eldar runes of the hull visible now.
The platform was leveled to the ground, and a red carpet covered it. After a few guards and attendants, all dressed with the blazons of the Paelisi House, finally the Duchess came out.
The Duchess Celestrianna Paelisi, High Noble and Chief of Foreign Affairs of the Sindarin Empire. She was a mature elven woman, yet the wisdom of her years was still mixed with the beauty of her youth. Dressed in a sky blue garment, adorned with diamods, her favourite gems, she looked like a maiden out of a fairy tale, or more lie a fairy indeed.

Fëaelen watched the city with interest, and as she was led into the throne room, she did not see a need to bow, or preform any similar gesture of obsequience. It was time to make it crystal clear that she was not to be intimidated, at worst this would be a relationship of equals, at best, the Taure.
"My name is Fëaelen nos Ancalimë, and I am the representative, and sometime leader, of the C'tan Confederacy," she said, walking casually towards the throne when gestured, not showing disrespect, but certainly not grovelling, "And I bring you the greetings and friendship of the Confederacy."

"It's not so important to tell you about us, as it is to tell you about the current international situation that you have found yourself in. Certainly, in matters related to elves, there are currently two major powers, Menelmacar - led by Lady Sirithil nos Fëanor, and Arda. Menelmacar is the - currently - pre-eminent elven state, 'Arda' is currently led by the Imperium of Melkor-Unchained," assuming these be Quendi, she let that sink in, "and several others. They are currently allied with certain Christian," she waited to see if there was any recognition of the term, "Fundamentalists known as the Reich. At the moment things are relatively stable and quiet, but the two blocs are quite antagonistic."
She did of course; neglect to mention the current usefulness to the Menelmacari of another quendi state, particularly one of this size. The great game of imperialism always needed new players.

Lacking the advanced technology that seemed so common around the world, the People of Tarakalar didn't notice the transition that occured until they had picked up the transmission from the Taurenor and a sattelite in orbit had confirmed that the land that once housed the nation of Diablo_NL truly had changed.
"I find this situation rather distressing. Though we had no true connection with DNL, the fact remains that an Sisgardian nation has been... Undone and now in it's place we have an Elven nation that is supposedly from the future." Concerning the unusual sistuation, Emperor Arnaud Taurain managed to stay collected and calm, despite the many implications this sudden development could mean.
"Though are scientists are unsure what to make of this situation, we have no reason to belief that this was anything more than an accident on behalf of the Taurenor who tried to escape the adverse effects of whatever posed a threat to them." Alexander Taurain, prince and future Emperor of the Enduring Empire, looked as if he considered the whole situation at most 'interesting', something his sister did not.
"Accident or not, they removed an entire nation just like that. A nation far larger than ours. What if there is another future nation that has the same problem and they are placed on the future lands that make up our current Empire? Are we just to take it with a smile if were erased!?"
"I worry about that possibility as much as you do, daughter of mine. But is there anything we can do about it? No. Best we give our new neighbours the benefit of the doubt and welcome them."
=================
A single day after the broadcast had been received from Taurevanimë, Queen of Taurenor, the Tarakalarians send their reply back to welcome her and her people on behalf of the People.
The camera that recorded Arnaud Taurain had been placed at several meters distance, allowing it to view the entire form of the Emperor as well as show part of the Throne room of the Crimson Palace and the advisors who stood to the side of the middle aged Emperor who sat in the throne that was made from a single block of red marble carved meticulously into it's magnificent form that it was.
"Greetings, Queen Taurevanimë. I am Emperor Arnaud Taurain. It is my Honor to welcome you to present day Sisgardia on behalf of the People of the Enduring Empire. Though we admit to be somewhat uncertain of the details of your arrival, we cannot deny that you are here and that you are so with friendly intends. As such we hope that our two nations shall have a prosperous and strong friendship that shall be Honored long after we ourselves are no more."
Falling silent for a few seconds, the Emperor of the Enduring empire held his hands to his sides and bowed his head to the camera, a gesture that would have looked submissive had it not been for the air of strength around the Emperor.
I wish Honor to you and yours and may your blood remain strong through time."
Looking up again and placing his hands on the arm rests of the tall throne, the camera continued showing the throne room and the people inside for a little while longer before the image went black.

It would be my honor to either visit your nation, or to have you come to Thelas, which ever one is most convienient for you. Or maybe both if you have the time. In this world, true allies are hard to come by, and many that appear to be true will only use your nation for their own benifit.

Sirithil nos Fëanor, Melkor Unchained. The first name was all to familiar to Taurevanimë in it’s entirety, but the later only for one half, the Melkor part. He should as always still be chained up in the void. Carefully she continued to listen to this elf, which was wise to speak of others but not herself.
“Christian, is a term I am not familiar with.” She said and shifted in her throne and lent down on her right arm. “But that will be rectified.” She paused. “Now Fëaelen I can see you are wise and skilled in politics. Not speaking of your own nation when explaining the international scene.” She said and smiled, knowing that she would be wise enough to catch the hint she really wanted to hear about them.

"Well, in international politics, we tend to side with Menelmacar and their allies, of whom I am sure a compiled list can be found, alas I do not have one on my person. The confederacy has its routes in the rather distant past, but the current incarnation has numerous species co-habiting under common, and fairly autocratic leadership. Normally it is our policy to conceal the extent of our technological knowledge, but due to your own advancement, and the means of my arrival, it would be rather difficult to deny it to you. As for actual data, the current population is just over two point two billion, The population can be broken down as one percent AI, eighty three percent human, sixteen percent quendi and one percent other species." Fëaelen raised an eyebrow, wondering if she should continue with such dry facts and figures.
Meanwhile, the ship began to do something. Thelas was a nuisance. Fortunately, the ship was equipped with extremely sophisticated ECM equipment, and would make sure that any further transmissions from the Thelasi would disappear almost entirely, hopefully without trace.

"Exactly that, sir. They just vanished, and now there's Taurenor in their place."

Though I realize many nations frown or even take insult upon the requests I am about to make of you, Lady Entoliel, but I further must ask you permission to allow four Jaiden honor guards to accompany the delegates. Though I can understand if you do not wish them to bear arms, I hope you allow the guards themselves to come as it is a matter of tradition.

The three delegates though all hailing from the same nation clearly showed to have their own distinct cultures that interwove and seperated from each other's.
Alexander Rurenbouw, was human in his early twenties. With his black hair tied into a ponytail and the small beard around his mouth he was the spitting image of his father save for the signs of age and his green eyes. Rather than wearing traditional clothes, he wore a simple black three piece bussiness suit.
Achdenak Tei'Eruun, representive of the Kerrat population of the nation, on the other hand wore far more expensive clothes, little as they were though. A skirt like piece of dress decorated heavily with silver and gold in elaborate patterns covered his upper legs while simple appearing sandals that reached up to his knees covered his lower legs. His powefull looking chest was kept bare showing clearly where human body changed up into a panther's head and neck. A long deep black velvet cloak hang from his shoulders and was dragged easily behind him over the ground.
Alonden’Aal, representative of the Eduyab’Kerrudar was an woman who seemed to capture the reputed beauty of the Elven races combined with a sense of primitivy and power that came natural to the hunting animals. Her raven black shoulder length hair had been tied up in an effective tight bun and her deep brown eyes seemed to drinking in her surroundings. In clothes she dressed the simplest of the three. Being quite litterally nothing more than the brown colored clothes that the Eduyab’Kerrudar wear when they hunt.
Despite their differences though, all three delegates shared the same sense of their position though and it could be seen in the confident and self assured manner in which they moved.

Although I am not completely certain what you speak of, I beleive that you mean there were people of your nation on this ground when we came. Sadly I can not inform you of their fate, but it is most likely that they have swapped places with our nation’s time. You would have to excuse us to let us run more experiments on this subject before giving you an official report of their fate.

First of, thank you for your welcoming.
Well what happened was that we transported ourselves and our nation along the fourth dimension, doing so brought us to this area in space and time. We did this in order to save ourselves from almost certain destruction.
Right now we are unclear about the fate of the previous inhabitants of this area, but we are starting an official investigation into this matter.

The Gilthoniel was directed down to an airstrip outside Taurëos. It was a sight to behold as the thick green forest suddenly stopped to show a gigantic airstrip with only just a few planes on it.
Down on the airstrip stood a quite large guard detachment. The Elves looking rather intimidating in their full armor for someone not used to it. Down by the guards stood a hover-limosine, ready to transport Sirithil through the forest to the city.
"So you invited the Eléntari too", sais Celestrianna as the huge form of the Gilthoniel passed over the palace, casting its Shadow over the delicate elven windows. "She came to visit you, It's a great honor for you and for your country", said the Duchess bowing low to the Queen of Taurenor...

Then casting a look over Fëaelen noting she so far hasn’t shown respect to her host. She would have to watch this one.
Celestrianna switched her stare to Feaelen as the Queen looked at the strange elf. A sudden feeling in her heart grasped her soul in a chill, her acute courtier's senses feeling the psychic force. Approaching to Feaelen's ear she whispered, cloaking the sound with a silence field around the both of them so the Queen couldn't hear her words.
"You're not what you seems to be, you're something strange", she said to Feaelen, a broad smile in her lips.

The compact, flowing form of a Tyelca Tuo class pocket cruiser lifted from the Mount Tumnorë Facility with slow, efficient grace. The little class of what was once known in the Empire as an 'air destroyer' - although this particular class is designed for dual-role use, in space or an atmosphere - is increasingly used for diplomatic purposes; it is believed, simply, that the sleek, gracefully powerful lines of a pocket cruiser gives a good impression - an impression of strength and elegance, in a single, flowing package.
After an uneventful orbital flight, the pocket cruiser slips into a temporary mag-synch orbit above Taurenor, and fires off a request to drop into Taurenor airspace.

She soared through the air, it rippled across skin that was silvered and cool.
Music spilled from her in arcane ways, notes that were as unfamiliar to her ears as rain to dwarves that had lived out their lives deep under the earth.
She glanced up and it was enough to impel her in that direction, tearing through wafts of cotton-like clouds though she only felt their passing as an imagined ghostly touch.
Laughter spilled past her lips and Alassënyelle found the illusion broken; it was difficult to imagine herself surrounded by open skies when her voice sounded itself out as locked away in windless chamber.
“Fëafánë,” she murmured and at once the mirror-glass receded from her eyes; water flowing back to an invisible source. The skies of Silmessë were gone and in their place, the silvered interior of the Silmerámë quivered mercurial. It breathes. Alassënyelle smiled, remembered that her tasks for the day were not yet done and a sigh escaped before she could contain it.
In these days when politics means to walk a field of naked blades, the Lord of the Silmellon needs all our help.
She frowned, wondering if the thought were her own or if the Silmerámë had secretly delivered them via the circular communicator that rested now against her forehead.
I am receiving an interesting broadcast.
Thoughts that shimmered through her mind and burned as vivid forms, letters in a familiar and yet alien script; voiced as they should be considering the Silmerámë’s massive size, thunder in Alassënyelle’s mind.
Strange that does not startle, does not ring through my mind for days. How almost gentle the thunder shouts, she thought privately before rippling out her commands to Fëafánë.
“Taurevanimë,” she repeated the name within the message aloud and considered her options. Silmessë was at this moment peaceful, no trouble boiled round her like dark shadows as it had on that long ago day when the Isle had re-emerged into the world.
Olorndil can manage a few weeks without us, can he not Fëafánë?
She composed her mind, divided it and felt two streams flowing; equally potent and vivid with her will.
One stream reached for the Lord of the Silmellon while the other spoke through the Silmerámë to the distant queen, Taurevanimë.
Queen Taurevanimë, it appears this is an age for emergence among the Eldar. Such twin fates as bind Taurenor and Silmessë must contain within them some sliver of meaning; such thoughts bring the Lady of the Silmellon towards your realm. I trust she is welcome?
To Olorndil, in tandem, she conveyed the mystery of Taurenor’s arrival and her intentions to fly to the distant land.
Practice guile and caution, he replied. But let our welcome be bright sister and let them know the Silmellon rejoice at such news as this, the coming of the Eldar of Taurenor.
Guiding the Silmerámë, wisps of thought like the clouds through which they dived, Alassënyelle smiled.
At last, she thought. My own adventure.

Now I hope that we may begin the first steps of establishing a friendship between our People…” The prince fell silent for a short moment as he observed the strong Elvish presence of the other delegates within the throne room and smiled as he looked back at the queen. “… Despite the difference that is clear within our blood, with exception of Lady Alonden’Aal ofcourse.”

"The Lady of the Silmellon is most welcome in our realm." Taurevanimë quickly replied to the message in her head, not showing anyone what was going on. She looked over everyone present and smiled. "Now come with me my friends, their is a feast we will attend." No sooner had she said and there were a pair of guards walking behind her. She led the group of guests outside of the palace, into the forest and to a clearing where there were many long tables with gleaming white cloth, and fires burning with boars roasting above them on a spit. The clearing was filled with Elves frantically walking about to get the food prepared and others sitting at the tables conversing.
Taurevanimë herself sat down on the largest chair at the head of the table, many chairs beside it stood empty for the guests to fill and she gestured to them to do so.

“Not the desert, but awe inspiring non the less.” Alonden’Aal spoke softly to Alexander and Achenak as she took in the green of the forest and the many trees. And foreign sight to her and Achenak, and Alexander himself had been exposed to it little as well.
Making their way to the long dining table they sat down in their chairs, each giving an appreciative glance to the food.
“Let it not be known you do know how to make your guests feel welcome within your home, Queen Taurevanimë.” Achenak’s rich voice seemed to border on an deep purr and his panther like face seemed to be smiling benignly, as far as that can be said of a creature that showes an impressive set of teeth like his when smiling.

"How am I suppose to drink from this?" Looking strangely, Achenak spoke softly to Alexander and Alonden'Aal who sat on opposite sides of the Kerrat delegate.
"Perhaps the servants would be willing to give you a straw." Speaking dryly, Alonden'Aal could not stop herself from smirking slightly at the subdued growl the Kerrat directed at her before trying to figure out a way to drink from his glass while not spilling any.
Hearing the warning that Fëalen gives to Taurevanimë, hard as it was to ignore when they were so close to each other and the prince looked with some curiousity as he recalled a little from the occasional foreign reports he had read.
"I admit to be less then well informed on matters outside the Enduring Empire, my Lady. But are the Thelasi not of Elven blood as well?" Alexander asked his question of Fëaelen before taking a small drink of his wine and giving an appreciative nod with his head as he places the glass down again and turned his attention to the other delegates sitting at the table.
"Of corrupted elven blood. They're traitors to our race as a whole, and they don't deserve to be treated like elves. Aelosia had a lot of contact with them some time ago, and their leader was once the fianceé of Princess Aliria our heir, yet they're the spoiled apple in the basket", said Celestrianna in a low voice, without raising her stare from her food.

Taurevanimë was shocked to hear people speak so badly of Elves in such an open place as this. "Well, if they are truely such treacherous Elves that you speak of them as if they were Hardrim. Then I have no choice but to deny them audience with me or my people, and watch them with a vigilant eye." She said and got back to eating. Everyone was free to talk to her and tell her things or ask her things if they wanted

"Corrupted? How so? I do hope when you say corrupted, you do not mean that they are no longer physically the same as your race. As we Eduyab'Kerrudar are descendants of one of the immortal Elven races, even if we no longer are immortal or resided in such temperate lands."
Alonden'Aal's voice held no accusation or displeasure, something most of her kind would have been unable to stop, and the unofficial leader of the Eduyab'Kerrudar watched with honest curiousity at Celestrianna even as she cut a small piece from the boar and tasted it exerpimentally.

The Silmerámë Fëafánë gleamed, morning star pealescent against the blue skies.
Alassënyelle could feel the magnetic pulse of the landscape below, infused with such glamour as she’d felt only in Silmessë.
Here lay the realm of the Queen Taurevanimë, her Taurenor.
Through Fëafánë she passed the shadow of her mind gently over the land, glimpsed the familiar weave of she that had bid her come to Taurenor and gave commands through the communicator circlet to the Silmerámë.
Here is Taurevanimë, not far now. She said. Seek a place where you may comfortably lay and prepare two Hróan. You will accompany me Fëa.
She felt the shiver of delight pass through the Silmerámë, found it reflected in her own mind as a series of shimmering letters, singing in ways that Alassënyelle would never believe the flesh was meant to know, to hear.
She cast aside such thoughts as she reached for Taurevanimë and announced her presence and impending arrival.
I am even now a star in your skies, descending. My Silmerámë seeks its landing and I, Alassënyelle of Silmessë, ask your leave that we may set foot on the soil of Taurenor.
The small shutle landed. Three elves stepped out of the craft, the first was somewhat short, only 6' 1" and was wearing the usual black uniform of the Thelas millitary, on his should was a common insignia, twenty starts, surounding a white eagle on a black background. Under the eagle was an eye, staring, lidless, the mark of Thelasi Millitary Intellegence. The second figure was wearing a buisness suit, taller than his companion, his insignatia was the same, exept for instead of an eye, there was a green olive branch. The last figure, tallest of the three, at 7' 6" he was an imposing sight, with hip length should hair many would swear that he was part Drow.
His uniform was the most decorated of all of the people, a silver like cording passed allng the colar and shoulders, in fact the translation of this mettle exactly means like silver, then going down his arms.

A group of heavilly armed guards greeted the group of Thelasian delegates and explained to them that there was a feast now which they could attend. Then they escorted them through forested roads and trails down to the feasting grounds.
The Thelasi diplomats followed the soldiers, Commander Kentherin, the on with the mithril banding, spoke, "What was the world like that you come from, the transmition said you came from the future, what was it like?"

The escorting guards remained totally silent while they escorted the delegates. Once they reached the feasting round they were lead to an open space before Taurevanimë who looked up at them and swallowed a peace of meat. "Who are you, where are you from and what are you doing here?" She said in a commanding tone that demanded respect as she looked over the delegates.
Kentherin was not surprised by the silence of the guards, [/i]Well, at least the soldiers are about as talkative as they are in Thelas[/i] When Taurevanime spoke, Kentherin bowed low, glaring out of the corners of his eyes at the other two, who followed his lead, "Milady, I am Force Commander Kentherin of the Thelasi Army, this is Director Normesi of Thelasi Millitary Intellegence, and finnaly, Doctor Shivensor of the Thelasi Diplomatic Core. We have been sent by Empress Ithenril to open diplomatic relations between our two nations."

Taurevanimë nods her head and gestures for the Thelasi delegates to stand up straight. "Please take a seat and join us in the feasting. It is always a pleasure to meet new Elves, especially in a strange world." She said, her voice less stern and more friendly now.
The Thelasi delagates rise, Kentherin speaks again, "Thank you for your kindness milady." The Thelasi took seats next to the Aelosian delagate, Kentherin turned and tried to strike up a coversation with the Aelosi, "So, how are things going in the Sindarin Empire? I have heard that the Princess is being married, any idea to whom?"
The other two looked around, the TMI officer looking somewhat uncomftorable, and the diplomat actualy looking quiet at home.
Any one with a good sense of magic could feel that Kentherin was sheilding himself quiet heavily from any probes, infact, magicaly, the only way to detect him was by where there was not any magic. It was also obvious by the power of his mask that he was definatly a powerfull mage in his own right.
Taurenor

Taurevanimë was not pleased with the fact Kentherin was shielding himself with magic. To so openly do such a thing in her pressence, the queen of the very nation they seek to be friends with. She din't want to arrouse to much suspicion that she knew and it appeared she almost ignored him and the others, just continueing to eat and drink while she listened to the conversations.
As the feast continued, and the Thelasi delegates started becoming a little more relaxed. About ten minutes later Kentherin let his masking feild drop. His power was odd, it felt like it was constrained, held in check. Its' power was white, with tinges of fire. As he became more relaxed he let more and more power out, yet it was still constrained.
Director Normesi turned to Lady Taurevanime, "Milady may I ask you about the world you came from?"
The door of the conference room opened, and a man in his early fourties entered the chamber. As he did so, the other persons already present stood up and saluted in traditional military manner. Robert grinned slightly, still not used to the fact that those who he called friends outside of his work treated him as some sort of...master...during office hours. But anyway, time to get to business.
"Gentlemen, ladies, we have the reports from our intelligence departments."
"Could we get a quick summary please? We have a lot to do, and I don't think many of us want to dig into 500 pages of intelligence data."
"Of course. During our isolation, the nation of Diablo_NL somehow ceased to exist. I know it is hard to believe, but Shadow Agents inserted into the area have confirmed it, and we have empirical data from other forward observers that indicates just the same. DNL is gone, and now some nation named Taurenor resides there. Council has already contacted them and is trying to set up a meeting of some sort, to find out their intentions. In the meanwhile, it is up to us to find out everything we can about its people and culture, so that we can understand and predict their moves as soon as possible"
"Well, let's look at what we can do. Using the actual military would be very unwise, they lack the subtlty for these things. That leaves us with the nemesi, the battlemages, black wolf special forces and of course more shadow agents. I suggest not using battlemages, since they Taurenori seem to use magics themselves, and thus should easily recognize the battlemages by the energies they gather around them. Shadow operatives are already there, and the nemesi are a liquidation squad, not an intelligence agency. That leaves us with the Wolves, but I don't think this is their kind of thing either"
"Then we'll stick with shadow agents. Insert more of them around the nation, but make sure that each of them has direct orders not to enter their territory. We do not want to provoke an international incident, especially not within Sisgardian borders. Anything else?"
"One more thing....Thelas. This is their kind of thing, and without doubt they will sent emissaries to see if they can get a foothold in Sisgardia."
"You're right...well you know the protocols that have been created for Thelas presence in the region. Contact GDT and activate them. Warn the Daiamid Council and Council herself."
"Affirmative Sir"

Taurevanimë put down the piece of boar she was eating and looked over at Normesi. "Yes you may." Looking away from him she extended her hand and swept it from her left flank you her right while saying. "All that you see before you is the world that I come from. Some of these trees I myself have planted and watched grow throughout the ages."
The Director nodded, very different from our leaders.... Thelas is a world of machines and technology, we twist magic in our own ways more like the Menelmacari, but these people seem at home with the land itself "What was happening in you world? Wars? Were there any?" The Director broke a question he had been wondering, "Did Thelas exist in that timeline?"
"Tell me something, why are we sitting here, and not there?".
A man in his early thirties casually pointed over his shoulder, where the first treelines of Taurenor could be seen. He was talking to a collegue of his, who was not only a more experienced agent, but also used to dealing with elven peoples.
"Because if you would try to enter that nation, there would be a 90% chance that you'd be seen, captured and taken to the first prison they can find, within the first three minutes of their arrival. God man, did you spend your briefings on the matter sleeping?"
With a shrug being the reply to his question, the man decided to drop the subject and continue assignment. They didn't even try to hide from any possible observers in the forest, something that felt very unnatural for a pair of shadow agents. But after all, the Daiamid wanted to approach these new people in all openness and integrity, so that was what they would do. If that meant being seen by foreigners without seeing them, so be it. After all, if the intention was to actually spy on them, there would be battlemages standing here, not shadow agents.
But their mission actually had little to do with Taurenor: making sure that the Thelasi did not screw things up again. Passed incidents had left TVC with a healthy mistrust of everthing Thelasi, and the Corporation would not feel safe until their 'negotiatiors' had left Taurenor...

The Tarakalarian delegates had watched bemusedly as the Thelassians had approuched the feast and the conversation that went on between them and the queen.
"They don't seem that different. But perhaps it is this 'twisting of magic' or the machines and technology that makes these Thelassi different."
"I suppose so. I am not much of an expert on these... 'immortals' but, I thought ALL the Elves around here use these advanced technology and machinery."
"Does it matter? We are here to see if we can establish a bond of friendship between this nation and our own. The other immortals are not important at this moment." Stopping the conversation between Ach'denak and Alonden'Aal, Alexander Taurain watched them both for several long seconds before smiling again. Even though the conversation had been done in an little spoken dialect of the Eastern tongue of the Empire, he didn't much care for gossiping on a state affair when the people you gossiped about were sitting just across the table.
"Humans." Shaking his head as he heard the two other delegates say the same word at the exact same moment, Alexander shook his head in amusement before adressing the queen in common english.
"Indeed, Milady. A fair question Director Normesi asked. I too find myself wondering of what nations existed in your time. I do not know how far ahead in the future it was, though I take it it must have been far indeed as I noticed you seemed to be unknowing of some things that even my nation take for granted in this time. Does the Enduring Empire still exist in some form, or had the Sixth Resurrection already occured and our Empire be nothing but rumble. For that matter, have disasters of global proportion changed the world itself. Quite a few theologists within our borders belief that cultures and civiliazations often fall to global distruction only to have thousands of years later new empires and people rise from the ashes."

"Ah yes, sadly there is also war in the future. Something that seems to be never subdued is the quest for power and even more power for some people. As for your nations, some ground might be left, maybe some very old descendants, but the actual nations and names are not." She said, sounding a little sad.

So the Sixth Resurrection will have taken place before your nation comes too be. If the scribes and philosophers hear of this they shall have a field day.” Looking at Alexander, Lady Alonden’Aal spoke with a soft contemplative voice and smiled at the human prince that besides the Kerrat Delegate.
Despite having been told that their nation will no longer exist in the future, prince Alexander and Lady Alonden’Aal seemed far from dismayed or disappointed, in fact they almost appeared as if they had just been handed a gift, Achdenak simply rolled his eyes at the other two.
“Lady, Taurevanimë, if it might not be too much to ask, would you allow myself and lady Alonden’Aal to, sometime during our visit here, speak with geologist and historians of your nation to try and determine when your nation came to be and how old this world was at that time. Thusly we can determine how many years are between this moment and the time you came from as well as help us determine when the Sixth Resurrection takes place and when the Enduring Empire of Tarakalar will fall to ruin.” A hint of excitement lay hidden in Alexander’s voice as he addressed the queen.
Clearly not feeling the same feelings on the subject of the future as well as the possible destruction of the Empire, Achdenak let his attention go to Celestrianna and Kentherin. He didn’t know anything other than their respective names and the fact that apperantly the Thelasi weren’t that popular amongst the Aelosians, if Celestrianna’s opinion was that of the rest of the Aelosians.
He didn’t address them yet, instead he waited a while, observing them, and not bothering to hide it. His long claw like nails tracing an interwoven series of patterns over the table.
"The Princess is not going to marry, not yet at least. She has met a pair of perfect suitors, lovely lads, Lord Atassar of Silmesse and Prince Maglor of Menelmacar", said Celestrianna in a soft and merry tone. "We haven't been properly introduced. I'm Duchess Celestrianna Paelisi, Imperial Chancellor of Aelosia, and you are?"
Kentherin smiled, "It is a pleasure to meet you Lady Celestrianna, I am Force Commander Kentherin, Commander of the Thelasi armed Forces, for whatever that is worth. Next to me is Director Normesi from Thelasi Millitary Intellegence."
When she mentioned Maglor, Normesi hissed something in an odd version of Sindar, Kentherin turned, speaking in Sindar, "This is a diplomatic function, while I understand that you do not like the members of the Feanor line... you are not to ever speak about some ones fiance in such a matter, especialy when they are not around to defend themselves. Lady Sirithil has publicly appologised for the actions of her husband.... Maglor had nothing to do with the Kinslaying, and furthermore, if the Princess of Aelosia wishes to marry him, who are we to disagree." He paues, "And if you ever say something like that again, I personaly will have you executed from High Treason!"
Kentherin turns, "I am sorry milady, Normesi here is somewhat...."

Alassënyelle was somewhat surprised that no answer came to her from Taurevanimë, yet as Fëafánë had already spotted a variety of crafts and taken this to be the area designated for the crafts of arrivals she set aside her speculations and commanded the Silmerámë to make landfall.
Dismissing the mirror glass before she’d chance to glimpse Fëafánë’s feather-light landing, she considered her gown in the metallic walls; frowned as they quivered like disturbed pools. A sudden stillness settled over them as Fëafánë glimpsed Alassënyelle’s thoughts and the fragile white weaves of her gown became clear for just a moment, as thought the Silmerámë had stopped its breathe, its life.
Thank you, Fëa. Are your Hróan prepared?
She waited for the reply before dismissing the communicator.
They are, they are.
Leaving the control chamber, Alassënyelle made her way down silvered passageways where the floors undulated and carried her skilfully. Lighting sparkled from hidden places and images wove and flickered through mercurial walls and the Lady of the Silmellon wondered not for the first time, if these were Fëafánë’s thoughts and dreams projected for her to see.
If these are dreams, then they move more swiftly than the Elven mind.
Soon she came to the great maw of the Silmerámë, the lolling tongue a fluid series of silvered stairs leading down to the sunlit ground below.
Here the light seemed alien to her eyes, as though the starlight glamour within Fëa was the more natural of the two lights.
As she approached the first step, a flowing thing like a stream of tengwar script and melded with pictograms that moved to swiftly to be read, twin forms rippled through the stairs. Separating from the silver as though it were indeed a stream, they rose and for a moment seemed silvered glass; ice sculptures.
“Fëa,” Alassënyelle greeted them.
Colour began to suffuse their bodies, tinctures of peach and pale sunset hues that rendered subtle flesh tones; but they would never seem creatures of blood and bone.
“Yes, yes Alassënyelle,” two voices replied as one, each with the timbre of soft bells and scarcely within the range of even Elven ears.
Should I leave her here, these Hróan disturb even me and I am accustomed to them? But Olorndil had cautioned her and she knew that she dare not step from the protection of the Silmerámë naked.
“Then let us go out and meet with Taurevanimë,” she said and led the way out into the open.
As they set foot on solid ground, the giant maws of the metallic beast closed with barely an audible sound.
Alassënyelle glanced round, caught sight of approaching figures and smiled. “I am Alassënyelle of Silmessë come at Queen Taurevanimë’s call for friends and kin.”

Alassënyelle din't get a warm welcome as everyone else did, just some guards that greeted and quickly gave orders to follow them. Leading them through paths that were covered by the heavy forest which was so near the city. Eventually they arrived at the feasting grounds, a strange sight to see among walking through the dense forest.
Alassënyelle was brought before Taurenor and not even introduced, leaving that task for her to perform herself. Taurevanimë looked at her and spoke. "Greetings to Taurenor stranger, I hope you come on friendly terms and high spirits, as I would ask you to join us in this feast. I am as you would probably already know, Taurevanimë, queen of these here lands."
Still casually observing the Taurenor border, both agents tried to find out if they could spot any Thelasi presence. Not desiring any footholds for Thelas in the region, similar teams of agents had been inserted on various locations surrounding the Taurenor border, with strict orders not to enter their territory.

The Lady of the Silmellon found the forest a welcome respite, but its voiceless trees were unlike the golden ornemalin of Lisselillassië.
As the Queen regarded her, made her welcome known to Alassënyelle her focus drifted away from the idyllic surroundings and toward her host.
“Taurevanimë,” her voice melodic, music still touched by the Vala. “You’ve travelled far from whence you came and I see it lingers on you, dust in the aura.” She smiled. “I am Alassënyelle and from the Isle of Silmessë, another newly quickened realm within the boundaries of the Earth.”
She opened her hands, indicated the twin figures that accompanied her.
Each stood to one side of Alassënyelle; the Hróan did not appear to be dressed for combat. Rather, like a Lady’s handmaidens they were dressed in flowing gowns, silvered where Alassënyelle’s white.
“Fëaminë and Fëatta,” she named them. Literally the Lady of the Silmellon had assigned them numbers, Fëa one and two. “My guardians.”
She widened her arms; palms turned up and drew in the forest that surrounded them.
“You’ve beauty here, preserved so long I can feel the age.” Eyes clouded, the Lady’s thoughts drifted. “There is still youth in the forests of Silmessë where some of our trees yet whisper to one another.” She drew her palms together; eyes fixed once more on Taurevanimë. “I would welcome you to the forests of my people, in Lisselillassië where morning diffuses golden through the canopy of ornemalin leaves while the trees themselves breathe songs of praise to the rich, bright light of day.”
For a moment she was silent, gaze turning to run over the many guests of the Taurenor Queen.
“You will find the Silmellon true friends I think,” she finally murmured. “We have the same love for the trees, but our greatest love lies in the night skies and the shimmer of the stars.” She signalled the Hróan, a request to step back.
“Massànië,” Fëaminë and Fëatta murmured as one, crystal cymbals resounding together, a lingering tone that pulsed in the air long after their lips had closed. Withdrew in tandem, a single fluid shift that was daunting to glimpse. As a mind plays tricks, so the Hróan took shortcuts the eye could not follow.
They remained some distance away, but it clear that this was no obstacle to them.
“I trust that Taurevanimë and Alassënyelle will find no reason for fear or tears, welcome to this Earth Cousin. Your coming is a lighter note in a place of too many sorrows.” Her words were for all to hear, but woven subtly and mind to mind she spoke to Taurevanimë alone as was her way. I do not doubt that in your past time and place you knew treachery and deceit as it is found now in this world and even above it. The Silmellon have not found it a simple time to dwell in, far from the shores of Valinor there is little of peace. But hear truth in my welcome, for the Silmellon rejoice whenever we are reunited with kin.

Alassënyelle’s eyes gazed a moment on Taurevanimë, vividly intelligent.
There is music to be made when kin are reunited, let your joy be song and your future filled with many rich and beautiful notes.
Her silent words spoken, she shifted away from the Queen of Taurenor and found her place at the table, gathered the folds of her gown and sank into the seat. Spared a moment for her companions, nodded to each, lips ever curved in a friendly smile.
“Share in a meal even but once and there are bonds that mayhap will bind into a fellowship,” she murmured and her voice reached all that’d gathered. “Blessings on our host and blessings on our company.”
She nodded her head in Taurevanimë’s direction and filled a goblet with wine, taking small sips as she studied the gathering speculatively over the rim.
