Greatings! We are pleased to announce the formation of the our corporation Exotic Creatures Trading Co. We are an upstart company from Belem who specialize in the sale and distribution of animal life.
Now you may be wondering what makes us different from a pet shop or a kennel. We are different in that we specialize in all creatures including what would be classified as Demi or non Humans. We will obtain any creature you wish no questions asked for any purpose. We can assure you no other source offers this type of service. Unforuntely do to Belem law we arent allowed to deal in the trade of Humans.(OOC: law is almost always unenforced except if a group attempts to trade Belem Citizens or Civilians)
If you are interested in placing an order or have further questions please reply. We appreciate your questions and comments.

I'll like a basilisk...
That will cost like 40 grand for one. They are kinda hard to get.
EDIT: price correction

What about an Aelsi Basilisk?
(OOC: An extremely rare basilisk living in the caves of the Himalayas... It is rumored that they come out to stalk their prey during heavy blizzards...)

OOC: correction my first price should of been 40 grand because they arent technically sentient. only sentient or extremely rare will be over 100.
IC: that will about 150 thousand.

I'm questioning how you get them. I can't believe that sentient creatures would willingly allow themselves to be sold.

OOC: for all intents and purposes they arent considered sentients because they dont build stuff

We are exchanging in animals, you dont ask the parakeet if it wants to be sold you just sell it.

Yes, but the sentients. How could you sell those without kidnapping or slavery of some kind.
(My nations pretty big on the whole mis-treatment of non-humans thing.)
so? They are non humans and hence considered animals and are able to be sold and traded, put on display or used for experimentation.

I'll pay you US$200,000 for each Aelsi Basilisk you can find. Good lucking even finding one...
Aelsi Basilisk? It is only a legend used to scare children. There existence was never validated...

Yeah, people that will do this can't consider themselves humans. Why not sell yourselves. Slavers and kidnappers are animals themselves.
(I'm gonna leave this thread alone now. Just know that this won't go over well with other nations. Never does.)

Nay. We aren't doing anything wrong. We are not trading in Humans hence we are not slavers nor are we kidnappers. Even if we were its just a way to make a living.
how about a Aelsi Basilisk and two of....oh...say, those nekojin (catgirl) creatures. Oh, and i will pay extra if you could supply one of those angry red-headed pacilla dwarves rumoured to be in existence... you'll have to find it yourself though, that's why i'm paying extra. And don't worry, you will be duely compensated.
I can easily get one of the catgirls. They are sentient so 120 for each.
Would your company be interested in trading? I have an Ashtarii djinn and would like a manticore (though not sure what type of manticore)
