It's good on many things...

1.

Emperor Alexander Nemerov
Star Empire of Steel Butterfly,
In the Orion Sector which includes:
Steel Isle, Steel Moon,
CTaNbHaR Eabo4Ka, XIII,
Aeisis, Bivens, Esthar VIII
Orion Sector Alliance Premier,
Order of the Seraphim

2. Everyone would be allowed to vote, if voting was done in the Empire...which it isn't...

3. So far, almost 40,000 have died...it's just beginning...but the first battle was HUGE.

How many sides are there to your civil war?
Which one are you?

There are two sides in the civil war - The Imperials and the Resistance.

Two threads can be found here:

Cold to the Touch (http://www.nationstates.net/forum/viewtopic.php?p=2598138#2598138)

Let the Outside Slowly Die (http://www.nationstates.net/forum/viewtopic.php?p=2631904#2631904)

I am both sides...it's a civil war...

1: Position on the rather disturbing, and age defining, fact that the Steel Empire, the Crimmond Imperial Totality and The Fascist States of Walten(who may be leaving ) are the only remaining nations of Midnight?

2: When are you gonna take off that embargo on the galaxy?

3: What is the ten thousandth diget of Pi?

1. Well...there are others...however they are inactive. Walten isn't leaving. He is quote "addicted". I think we should get back together somehow...perhaps an RP...

2. It will leave...or just get stronger...depending on who wins the civil war.

3. That information has been deemed classified

Why did you leave GDODAD, and what was the ingame story?

Here is my departure thread: http://www.nationstates.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=69984

There are many versions, and with you being in GDODAD currently, you've probably heard a more tainted version.

Frankly, the move was more OOC than IC. While I still harbor little anger towards the individual nations of GDODAD, the organization in general is the definition of bastard. (It has no father... )

Anyhow, when I first got in, GDODAD was the thing. Nations literally feared them and when TST, Nod, or Klamath spoke everyone except a few like Iesus, Russian Forces, Imperial Forces, and Pure Evil listened. Soon after I joined, when the whole "individual alliance invisionfree forum" thing was just beginning, I took the liberty of setting one up...still seen here: http://invisionfree.com/forums/GDODAD

Doing that organized GDODAD more than it ever had, and soon after I was given the title of Director of Intelligence, a position I made up for myself, and became 4th on the "leadership chart". This was when Klamath changed a lot both IC and OOCly, as he went Commie and then went on a spree of getting deleted/resurected/deleted/etc. With him gone, I quickly moved up to the third spot, becoming almost the unoffcial speaker of the alliance.

While TST and Nod were busy doing their own thing, I went out on a limb and tried to take GDODAD "global". I was never part of The Underwater Bubble as many of the GDODAD members were. A lot of the "newer" nations (like June...lol) though GDODAD = me instead of GDODAD = TST as the older nations saw it. Also, many current GDODAD members will never admit to this and part of the last paragraph.

Then came the great Underwater Bubble attack/ignore fest which brought to the surface an army of little bitch-like nations who proclaimed that all of GDODAD were warmongers. The overwhelming annoyance brought on by these "bitch-like" nations forced us into internal reform, originally led by myself, since I had been slowly reforming the alliance for a while.

After changing the name to The Dominion to give us a new look, I went on to come up with a new charter, already knowing that GDODAD's good days were over. However, bullheaded as I was, I thought I could bring it back. Nod's inactivity and TST's inability to have a strong opinion through the process made it easy, until I left for a week, only to come back to see that Lord Christopher Scott and others had taken over the contract process and made it their own, completely ruining everything I had worked for. I protested yet still hung around, not willing to give up yet.

What it came down to, however, was the The Dominion was horribly pathetic under LCS's charter and although many nations applauded us for trying to change, it was all in vain. It was about this time when I knew the GDODAD was done for, and I had become fed up being associated with them. My RP's were filled with countless morons saying "GDODAD SUXORZ!!!!11111" and the like and I also got no respect from fellow good RPers. I was sick of it, and I needed to get out.

My getting out was abrupt, but the after effects were horrible to the alliance. Once again, no one in the GDODAD will ever admit to it, but at that time I held an essential role in the alliance. As I left, around 10 or so powerful or semi-powerful nations in the GDODAD left as well, jumping on my bandwagon or seeing for themselves the stupidity of the current state of the alliance. My departure signalled the end of the GDODAD, something TST, Nod, and LCS especially still dislike me for.

However, my RP's improved in participation, and I got respect from nations like Angelus and Menelmacar, who wouldn't speak to me prior to my departure. Months later, AMF actually invited me to join the new one, but he and TST insisted on the name remaining, and I wouldn't do that to myself. As Barbarosea and others know, I currently have 3-5 spies in GDODAD and on the boards that I don't post with, and I know all that goes on. I advise you to leave as soon as you can Presgrief. I see you as a rather level-headed fellow, and while the appearance of immense power may amaze you, all is not as it seems.

Where are my brown cows? I cant find them anywhere

Q: Who are your largest allies? Who are your largest rivals?

Largest Allies are most definately the Order of the Seraphim and the Orion Sector Alliance, however the Order is waaaay more active. Other strong allies are nations like Crimmond, Tarasovka, and Angelus, as well as others who I forget at times like these.

I currently have few IC rivals, and haven't for some time...which is really strange for my nation. In the past Marathon and I always went at it, the nations of Sunlight and I actually fought two wars for what came down to OOC hate, and Automagfreek, perhaps my greatest "rival" and I have since made up both ICly and semi-OOCly. Marathon, the stupid bastard, has been deleted, and the nations of Sunlight died due to inactivity.

I already have the 3rd and most likely the final chapter in the Warheit saga all planned out, including the ending and the opening, but I'll definately hold that off until after the Civil War because I want it to take place in the aftermath. It won't have a big effect, but it'll be the setting.

I doubt Warheit will fight in the Civil War, although he may make a cameo or something near the end. The 3rd Chapter in the Warheit Saga will probably come around March 16, the day SB was founded. I'm thinking of kicking off Warheit Chapter 3 and Realm of the Risen 2 both on "Founding Day" in the Empire, March 16.

Reply to Steel Butterfly's Reply to My Questions
(wow, that sounds rather silly, now doesn't it)

Thank you for the exhaustive reply you gave to my questions, it is truly appreciated. Not many players would go to such lengths to answer such questions so thoroughly; again, it is what has always seperated you from the rabble. For the record, you are the one who turned me on to GDODAD in the first place, when I played as a much different nation than the one I currently use. I remember you gave the alliance a larger-than-life feel; through you GDODAD presented itself with great authority. I went on a long break from the game, and when I returned, it was as this nation. I was truly sorry to learn that you were no longer a part of the alliance, and I do believe there are many amongst the older members who miss your presence.
As for my leaving GDODAD, no, I won't do that. We are working on greater things, and ever since the Metus alliance has been finalized, and AMF finally pissed off, things have been looking up. I must say that I understand why you left, I on the other hand stay for relative reasons. There was a time when GDODAD was a truly great organization, and I hope to do my part in bringing it back to its old status. I'm not saying that I will succeed in this endevour, but it is definitly a cause worthy of my best effort. We have quite the team of active, creative players right now, and with the participation of nations like Melkor, Kalessin, and Wretchengard, I think we can achieve something truly great. Who knows, we'll live, we'll see. Perhaps one day you will consider joining us.....
I'd like to say that I have the utmost respect for you, your RPs are excellent, and you are one of those players who defines the very essence of what the NS phenomenon is. I have my own personal list of NS founding fathers, and you my friend are very high on this list. I would even say that I consider you to be somewhat of an ingame rolemodel. I hope we will remain on good terms, both ICly and OOCly.
Oh ya, by the way, I'm not a fellow, I'm a.....lass
Well, thanks again for the info,
Always A Great Admirer,

3. Do you blame SalusaSecondus for these awful forums?

1. I depends on who is in it, the IC reason to do so, and the Baltic Region's acceptance of far future tech in war.

2. Now if I said that, the end would be given away...now wouldn't it?

3. Nah...like Khrrck said, I blame PHP...and also violet for not updating...but then again...this game is free.

Hey! No turning Baggera into dust!

I don't think it would be that simple

1. So how would Steel Butterfly feel about opening relations with a currently technologically backwards nation such as mine?

2. When is a possible time to set up the new horror RP?

3. Relating to the above question, will NiMBUS come up with something new?

1. Steel Butterfly would be more than willing. Also, this is how I OOCly think relations should exist between future and present tech nations. Sort of like how it is in Star Trek.

2. As I said previously, Realm of the Risen 2 is slated to come out March 16, along with Warheit Saga Chapter 3. March 16th is the day SB was founded, and I want to celebrate by kicking off two new additions to two great RP's.

3. It depends if they (the Imperials) win the civil war or not.

Can't say they have, however you sure seem to be creative. Suicide is a rather un-honorable way to die in the Empire.

By asking this question, I confirm that I am young. I'm asking this because I want to compare godmodders then and now.

What was MagicChina like?

MagicChina, and all of his many incarnations seemed to me like someone who at times tried to RP but either didn't get the multiple tutorials given to him or didn't care to change. The day I was founded, MC declared war on me, and after listening to the advice of others, I ignored him. To this day, it is the only war that I have ignored.

It would amount to be a small, interesting RP that establishes relations between MV and Steel Butterfly, and it can allow me to participate in your RP's without having to, well, Godmod; It would be a Godmod to instantly realize an empire beyond your planet and having tech insufficient to allow such a feat.

MV is located on Sol III at the moment, but if and when I get up to advanced space tech, I plan for a mass exodus to another planet (or a series of planets across a few stars).

Yeah, Nanakaland, I've been kicking around idea for RotR: II but I haven't found anything that I really like. Also, I think it'd be better if I used an already established character, so it's a sequel and not just a rehash ("what are these things" vs. "I've seen these before").

The Civil War is lengthy, because I'm trying to make it realistic to actual war....in a story of course.

Khrrck, I didn't plan a great race. :P

I'm interested into where you heard that from. I had thought of something some time ago, but then it'd turn into a "my dick's bigger than your's" contest, with everyone submitting their "elite" pilots and few people admitting defeat. From there I had thought about making a program that would simulate the winner, but then what if I was the one who won? There's just too many things that would take away from the story itself.
