Special Forces.

29-01-2004, 15:52
In a unanimous vote by all members of the Provisional Government Council of the Protectorate of Shyra, it has been decided to form a Special Forces unit, this unit will be a sub-division of our Army, the exact amount of personell dedicated to this unit is classified, as is the sort of equipment they will be using, the only thing we are seeking externally is Special Forces training from another nation that has skilled Special Forces, that is all, thank you.

First, we must ask what your intentions for this team is. If we find it acceptable, then we will send a contingent of the Tal Shiara for advisory purposes.

Hostage Rescue.

Surgical Strikes(In time of war or necessity).

And a number of other purposes normally covered by Special Forces the world over.

So you are basically creating a team similar to the United State's HRT and Delta Force?

If that is the case, we will volunteer a team of 15 Tal Shiara. They will train in infiltration, hostage rescue, demolitions, electronics deactivation, disarming of explosives, hand to hand fighting, sniping, handgun function, and training with the M-16A2.

So you are basically creating a team similar to the United State's HRT and Delta Force? Something like that, and the training is welcomed, would you be able to supervise the training of around 50 candidates?

That should not be a problem. Are we training current military troops or new recruits?

Good, so they will have basics, we'll just be sharpening the skills they have. Arrange a time and place for the training to commence and we'll send our troops.

Sure thing. We'll get geared up and we'll arive shortly. Will there be room enough for a dropship to land? They need about 300 yards blast clearance to land. Don't want something or someone important to get fried.

We can send some of our THS Imperial Sniper Squads over to help, arriving in Chinooks. These are highly trained special forces best at sniping and Urban Warfare.

Ahh training SOF's. We will send some of our elite Spetznaz operators to your country to assist in training and critiquing your troops. Just give us the coordinates of the nearest airport so that we can land our operators. They will consist of one 4 man fireteam.

you should check out my storefront for information on purchasing -Noir-'s specially designed training program

Erryn stood at the ramp leading up into the dropship and watched as the team loaded up their gear. Equipment consisted of techie's toys such as NVGs and electronics scramblers, not to mention the demolitions gear, the riflemen's gear and weapons, and the assorted recon equipment.

He hefted up a box of kevlar armor and carried it up the ramp, placing it in the cavernous cargo hold.

Hmm... Usually a mech or two in here. Prolly why it looks so big now.

He turned, walked back down the ramp, and grabbed a few cases of ammunition to help his team in the loading op.

Eventually the gear was all squared away and the team filed into the egg shaped dropship and strapped in. The engines activated and the Overlord launched from its berth near the Krosa Island Air Force Base.

It landed an hour or two later at the designated spot and Erryn came out to meet whomever was awaiting their arrival.

If you would like, we are able to contribute personnel to classroom academic pertaining to calling in air strikes, combat airfield landings and controlling among other things. We also have multiple individuals trained in the use of anti-materiel weapons such as .50 caliber rifles and thermite devices.

"Fairly good. The dropships provide a fairly decent ride. Lt. Cma. Erryn Davion. I'm in charge of this unit. I guess I should ask where you want our stuff."

IC: "We have a barracks nearby where we set things up for storage, and use. Mind using that spot?"

"Not a problem. Allons, lets do as our name states! Move it ladies!"

Troops grabbed their gear and moved it towards the designated barracks.

"When would you like us to report for training?"

East Islandia hosts a counter terrorism training college. While small, with only three hundred or so students, we and our allies offer some of the best training to be had in Nationstates; while others may drill their troops constantly and have them practice what they do not understand, we put much emphasis on our students' application and creativity of techniques they have learned.

We take groups of sixty troops, maximum. It would be appreciated if your troops had some basic experience in combat essentials (firing weapons, cleaning weapons, basic field manuevers) and we will teach them all the rest.

Please consider our school; while you may require Special Forces training, terrorism is a huge threat, and we believe that we are in a position to do much good by teaching the world about something that we have experienced first hand ourselves and have much experience fighting.
