Dear Readers,
I am the President and head of state of the newly formed Democratic Republic of Culeria.
I have always been a firm believer in the principles of socialism. My brand of socialism is based on economic democracy besides political democracy, i.e. each individual has an equal say in what is produced rather than it being determined on the basis of purchasing power. Big business and other imperialistic subversive forces must be held at bay if the nation is to progress. With these ideologies in mind, I wish to set up a socialist international - an alliance of countries commited to economic democracy both for mutual defence and for the promotion of this ideology among nations.
