Yes, no green party option...not that I would vote for them. I must say, I disagree with a couple things Bomfy believes in, but he seems the best. Good luck to you, Mr. Bomfy! (Or. Mrs., you didn't really make that clear).

Austica urges a transparent election process in the Grand Republic of Aequatio, however does so from a distance, considering our two nations previous relationships

Fixed your post for you, Aequatio... you had a dodgy poll and broken links.

Cheers,

Wow, it's the third election thread I've seen today. Does the poll actually count?

I don't like the anti-religion ideas. Everything else is OK though.

Location: People's Republic of Teakland, Interior Chairman's office. The People's Chairman, Quincy Teeth, is busy re-calculating the z-score of the psychological experiment he completed during the week. Foreign Affairs minister Christopher Hepburn enters.

"I'm afraid it's about that time again, Mr. Chairman," he says, holding yet another dossier.

"Sweet jebus, Chris," the Chairman said, throwing his hands up exasperatedly, "do we have to do this EVERY time some country has an election?"

"It's important to the well being--"

"Of our country, diplomatically-speaking," the Chairman said, repeating the Minister's words that he'd heard so many times before. "Okay, let's have a look." He flipped through the dossier. "Let me get this straight: they're a capitalist nation with a 100% income tax rate? The current government wants to increase spending, but cut taxes? Obviously someone's not been doing their Economics homework."

The Minister looked anxiously at the Chairman, the mantra "[i]Please don't do something unbelievably un-diplomatic[i]" racing through his head.

"Let's go for the Conservative candidate," the Chairman said suddenly, ruffling his long red hair and tossing the dossier back.

"WHAT?" He attempted to control his shock. "You...you're suggesting the Conservative candidate? Mr. Chairman, sir, may I congratulate you for--"

"Enough of the brown-nosing, Chris," he said. "I just figure, if they're going to be Capitalist, they might as well act like it. Send out the usual letter of support to Candidate Fairbanks."

"Right away, sir!"
