Over the years military spending in Automagfreek has been on a decline. don't get me wrong, AMF still spends a staggering amount of money on the military, but because the Sentinels are not paid, we have had access to more funds than usual. As most know, the Sentinels are bred to not care for money or other riches. Instead they hunger for warm flash and thrist for battle, for they are raised to care less for money. Also, because Automagfreek hasn't made any real significant purchases over the years, excess money from our yearly military budget have been diverted into a slush fund.

Over the years this fund has recieved tens of millions of dollars, and the interest has inflated this amount generously. Left over funds from other government projects have also been diverted to this fund, and I'm pleased to announce that the slush fund totals 1.6 billion dollars.

There are 40,000 hungry children in Automagfreek, and with this money they shall never go without dinner ever again. No mouth shall yearn for food or drink anymore, and this is my decree. I will also cut military spending by 1% and give that money to the poor across the country. That number will total no less than (OOC: And I'm using the evil "GDP Calculator" to determine this) 613 billion dollars. (OOC: According to the GDP calc, my GDP is $61,390,000,000,000. Meh.) This shall put no sizable dent in the AMF military machine either.

Let it be known that Damien Dreadfire is merciful and lives to serve and protect his people. Automagfreek is a land of plenty, and every citizen will have a chance to live out their dreams in a society that does not discriminate.

But to those that mistake my mercy for weakness, I say this. A sleeping tiger may look serene, but come too close and he'll bite your fucking head off.

It pleases me greatly to see Dictator Dreadfire taking a legitimate interest in the needs of his people. I've even received word that charities from all over The SLAGLands are prepared to assist Dictator Dreadfire in this cause, if need be.

On a more personal note, I would like to take this opportunity to personally congratulate the people of Automagfreek for achieving this era of peace. Perhaps the time will come soon for our two nations to make amends and enjoy another era of mutual cooperation, this time without the need to rush into war.

Do not take this the wrong way, we find no fault in these new, unusual actions; but cannot help but wonder as to the implications they have. Indulge your peoples Damien, but make sure that the iron fist within the velvet glove does not pit and rust away.

Ah, fear not my good man, for the taste for blood is not so easily lost. As I stated before, those that mistake my mercy (for the poor) as weakness will be the next ones to fall. One does not simply step on the toes of the Sentinels and get away with it, oh no. For now we shall lounge and indulge, for now we tire of conflict.

I shall make you a promise however: throughout these days of peace, Automagfreek will rise to new heights. We will surpass our greatest accomplishments, and we will go places we've never gone before. Our people will live like Kings, our economy will swell, and hopefully our political status will rise in the world.

"To the leader known as Damien Dreadfire,

I am pleased to see that you are taking active steps towards achieving national satisfaction, and I applaud your government's moves to feed the hungry within your nation. I am also pleased to see that you are willing to cut your military budgets to achieve this goal. This shows that you are not 3rd World minded, and I congratulate you for this. I believe if you continue to take active steps like this, your government will be considered to be legitament in the eyes of the international community.

I understand that in the past, our relations have not been particularly good, and as we can see that your government is becoming more legitament, we invite you to re-open your embassy within the Austar Union. Your diplomats will be welcomed with applause.
