The Zero Maru hovered mere meters off the groudn the exhaust keeping the attack ship afloat for several moments before it touched down on the pavement (these days it's more of a taxi than a attack ship) Steven Resslin the leader of The Centuri station stepped out of a hatch at the top of the steps staring at the country before him, he put on a pair of sunglasses and looked back into the ship.

"you know your gunna have to wear a dress right.." he smiled widely, he was one a few peopel that could get away with teasing Rebecka Sway, his military cheif.

she stepped out in a less than jubiliant expression on her face, "better not be stuck beside some old man...like the last wedding we attended" she was always grumpy, and when she wasn't... then you have to run very very fast.

the two walked over to a car that was waiting for them, he opened the door, for his companion smiling enjoying ever minute of it. Rebecka could only grumble as she stepped into the car followed by Steven.

We're going to have fun while we get drunk, but we're not going to do anything that'll make us unfaithful. For one thing, Autumn would kill me and I don't want that to happen." President Featherston replied with a chuckle. "But serious we are here to celebrate so we're going to celebrate in the old fashion way, Get drunk and have some fun while doing so."

My dad, Theodore Nathan Masaki. He's always on diplomatic trips around the world, and off, too. He came for the funeral and the attack, but left to placate the Middle East conflict. This time, he'll stay awhile. He has a green lightsaber.

We Jedi drank lightly. It seems that two of the guys, Yusuke and Tetsuo are trying to beat each other by drinking more than the other. They'll be having a horrible hangover in the morning.

All through the night, the party went on, until my Dad spoke up.
"Everyone, everyone! *hic* I thank you all for coming, and now it's time for the best part of the whole party! The song!"
I gushed. "Aww, Dad! You didn't have to..."
Music struck up and everyone sang:

Keiji: Hey, I have an idea. Go get my PS2 from the hotel room. But first call 2 more special ops detachments to come guard the building before you go, I have a weird feeling about something.

Keiji: Hmmm...Smells good. I want some tempura, teriyaki chicken, and lots of sushi and sashimi. Hold the wasabi please. I wonder when my spec op is going to get back with my PS2?

"Mmm." I said, chewing on some teriyaki chicken. "I chose only the best Japanses chefs."
"And they make the best ramen!" Naruto exclaimed, slurping up the noodles and salty sauce, with meat choppings.
"You got it!" Yusuke said, also eating the most famous noodles among us guys. "Not to mention the tempura, hayashi raisu, and more!"
"and last, but not least..." Akira added.
"RICE CAKES!" We shouted together, and laughed ourselves silly. There's also cheesecakes (my personal favorite), ice cream of many flavors, and brownies, but rice cakes are on the top of our list. As soon as we finished the main course, we declared war on, and attacked the desserts with much sweet-tooth fury.

Moments later, the door to the party was thrown open as four men wheeled several crates of wine, beer, whiskey, spirits, etc...

{Spec Op 1 takes the controller and starts playing, then gets shot after 5 seconds}

Keiji: Haha...You're supposed to be a Special Op, and you get killed trying to play Socom II. Isn't that ironic. Haha...

Myself the ruler of the holy empire of Garry the Bastard would be honoured to attend your wedding and hopefully a mutual friendship and exchange of ambassadores may take place.

The party went very late into the night, and one by one, we grew too tired to do any more partying. So, we fell asleep, controllers in our hands.

{Everyone fell asleep right where they where. It's like magic they fell asleep at the same time}

The next morning...
It was around 11:00 by the time anyone got up. Dad was first. He picked off crumbs, and groaned slightly. "What a hangover!"
"Well, I think I'll let the kids sleep a bit longer. Now it's time to clean up a bit."

I woke up with a heavy hangover. "I think I drank too much last night. Urgh. Hey, Ryan, wake up!"
My brother still snored. I splashed a cup of water in his face. "Glug! Hey! *koff* Why'd you do that for?"
"Well, I do believe a little fresh air could do wonders for hangovers. Let's clean up a bit first."
"Okay, but don't do that again!"
I smirked "Fine, fine."

As we washed our faces and put on fresh clothes, the others started waking up.

The two of us decided to take a 2 km jog around the woods, as we always do every day. After that, it is a lightsaber duel, a friendly one with low-powered lightsabers.

We jogged, sometimes jumping up on branches and jumping from tree to tree. At the last leg, we hit the ground again, and then went in to get something to drink. I noticed the others are up or just getting up.

"Hey, you guys!" I said. "We're about to start our saber duel. Hurry up if you wanna see it."

"Lightsaber duels?" Naruto lit up. "I'm there!"
So said the others.

{At the party}

Spec Op 1: Sir! Sir! Wake up!

{Spec Op 1 tries his best to wake up Chancellor Keiji, who ended up sleeping on the couch while playing SOCOM II}

Keiji: *groan* nnnot now! Fffive more mminutesss.

Spec Op 1: Argh...I know I should be patient, he's only 15...Hmmm...

{Looks around and sees a glass of water on the side table of the couch}

Spec Op 1: Hehe...

{Spec Op 1 takes the glass of water and pours its contents on Keiji. Keiji wake up startled}

Keiji: Wha what hahahappened???

Spec Op 1: I don't know some guy just came over and poured this glass of water on you.

{Spec Op 1 points to the same stranger from last night that he 'claimed' poured a glass of water on Keiji during the party}

Keiji: I'll get him later...No "you" will get him...

{Spec Op 1 rolls his eyes}

Spec Op 1: Fine, whatever...

Keiji: Now I will get something to eat. Hey! Masaki! Where is breakfast!

Spec Op 1: I think Masaki went outside for some fresh air.

Keiji: I see. Well, i'll just play SOCOM II until breakfast arrives.

{Keiji turns on the PS2 console and starts playing}

The smell of breakfast suddenly fills the air. It seems my cousin, Sasami is baking pancakes, eggs, bacon, and loads of other goodies. She is the head chef, although she is only 12, and is the best cook in the land.

"Forget the duel! Breakfast is cooking!" I said hungrily. I called the kitchens. "Sasami? Are the goods ready?"

"Sorry, cousin! Breakfast is another 30 minutes away!" She called back from the kitchens.

"Aww... hey, Keiji! Lemme see SOCOM for a minute."

"Breakfast is ready!" Sasami beamed. Her chefs spread the breakfast goods out on the long table. "Dig in!"
"Ahh! Let's eat!" Dad said.
We dug in, and filled our hungry stomachs.

Keiji: Hey Sasami! This food is great! Can I have another serving of rice?

{Keji takes a sip of tea and clears his throat for seconds}

Keiji: Mmmmhmmm...Great food, great food.

{30 minutes later}

Keiji: Ahhhh...I'm full. The grilled fish was great, and I love the miso soup. Hey Masaki, you wanted to see SOCOM right? I have it set up there on the TV.

"Yeah!" I exclaimed, after Keiji asked me about SOCOM. After washing up a bit, I played it. Seems I'm better than Keiji, keeping my squad alive, and winning quite a few levels.

"Pretty fun, anyway." I said after thirty minutes. I gave the controller back to Keiji, then turned to the crowd. "Ok guys, I have a saber duel with my brother scheduled today! Wanna come watch?"

"OK! Yeah, sure! Yeah!" The other guys agreed, and we walked out to a nearby field.

President Featherston wakes up with a hangover.

"Did I hear the word duel? I hope it doesn't turn out the same way as the dual with Hamdo went. I don't think your loves will be too happy if it did. John, I also know that neither your father nor yor brother would be happy either."

"No, no." My dad said. "Our duels use low power settings on our sabers, so we don't get hurt. Just stung."

"Good! I'm glad that no one will get hurt. I really hate having to go to funurals, especially funurals for my friends."

"True, true." Dad said. "Well, let us see how good the boys are with their lightsaber skills."

Dad lead President Featheston outside to where my brother and I were getting ready. The others formed a wide circle around us.

"Ready, Ryan?"
"Ready, as I'll ever be!"

We bowed, and ignited our lightsabers. Ryan took a chudan* position, and I used a hasso* stance.

Ryan attacked first, slashing for my leg. I parried it, and then aimed at his neck. He blocked that strike, and the duel began. We parried and blocked, slashed and thrusted, for several fast-paced minutes.

President Featherston looks over at Ryan's Dad.

"I bet you 50 Sazlis that Ryan beats his brother." He stated as he watches them duel. "It is a good competition though. You should have a tournament using powered down lightsabers. That way there is no dispute as to who the real lightsaber champion is."

OOC: 50 Sazlis is 50 USD! 1:1 ration for now.

"Hmm." Dad stroked his chin. "It's not a bad idea. A lightsaber tournament. For now, 'tis a tough call. Both boys have experience dueling dark Jedi in the civil war, so it's up in the air as to who wins. I think John will have a slight upper edge, though. 50 credits* says John wins."

Meanwhile, our sabers loosed sparks as they clashed. I took on the offensive, and managed to drive my brother back. Suddenly, he hopped to the side, and kicked out, tripping me up. I lost my footing, and crashed to the ground. He held the blade of his green saber under my chin.

"I win!" He grinned.
"Just a lucky shot." I replied. He helped me up, and the battle was over.

duel time: 6 minutes, 30 seconds

"Ryan is much better than I thought!" Dad exclaimed, as he dished out 50 credits to President Featherston.

Later on in the evening, the girls and the guys met up together for the last night before the wedding.

Keiji: Good...So are you going to be coming to the wedding also?

Motoko: Oh...I almost forgot to tell you. Commandant Siegfried is leading an attack on this small island that is reported to have diamonds. I believed you wouldn't mind me allowing him to go attack the island.

Keiji: Sure thats fine. I hope he is doing well.

Motoko: We haven't heard from them for days.

Keiji: Oh...Send General Benoit to assist them.
