The Pyorg Facility
-A Foreign Investigation by Reporter Anne Thomas
The Pyorg Facility. It's name sends chills down the spine of millions worldwide. Why do they fear this place? As I gazed at the gigantic building, I noticed a hole in outer wall.
"Decay. Building is very old." says Maria, my Galdanian guide. She is maybe about 30, a few years younger than myself. She says that the government has told her to tell everything about the facility to me.
Visitors to Galdania are rare, especially from Western nations. But now as I walked in to the facility, I knew why; laying in the room in front of me was a body. It took me a few seconds to recognize it as one, as it was so mutilated.

I toured through the rooms. People is white gear were cutting things open all over the facility. I heard a far-off scream. Maria glanced at me. I pretended not to have heard anything.
The worst part of Pyorg was not the human bodies being ripped apart. It was the ones that weren't. No, I don't mean the occasional Elf body that was mixed in with the others, I mean the one that was clearly alien.

Maria told me that it was a person who had been born with severe physical deformities. I wasn't totally sure.
Also frightening were the mutated fetuses, seemingly displayed like peices of freakish art all around Pyorg.

"It's all for research. We use dead for make the medicine for live people. Experiment on dead make us live long." said Maria.
Apparently, the scientists at Pyorg get thousands of aborted fetuses for use in experiments.
"Not like any other person is going to used them." Maria explains. Logical, yes, but morally, it seemed wrong to me...
I spent a week in Galdania, and it was one I'll never forget. I had seen worse things here than in my worst nightmares. A positive thing about my visit to Pyorg was that I wouldn't be disgusted by the violence on T.V. anymore.
