Showdown: Automagfreek VS Russian Forces

Automagfreek
25-01-2004, 08:06
The Russians had drawn first blood, the blood of the innocent. Without a doubt their target was Damien, but they had failed to destroy him. All across the country, militia gathered and took up arms to defend their homes and cummunities, and the Sentinels prepared for battle be it in Russia or on their turf. Damien had been inside the Great Hall all day with his Warchiefs, discussing their strategy and other things. M'Lord, your people stand ready. They have taken up arms, every single last weapon for that matter, and they are prepared to meet whatever end. Damien was silent, for never had war made it's way to the shores of Autmagfreek in this manner. Never before had an attack come out of the blue, and never had the general populace been targeted. Putin means to strike fear into our heart, but I can see standing before you now that not one ounce of fear is present. The Dread Fires have erupted, and it's fury will scorch Russia, the likes of which it has never seen. Putin also says that all of our people that defend their homes will be treated as terrorists. I have made it clear that if Putin so much as executes one innocent person, Blood Feud shall be unleashed upon him. The room began stirring, for Blood Feud had not been declared in centuries. The Warchiefs were uneasy at the mention of Blood Feud, for the very thought of it was painful.

Putin thinks that because his populace is higher that he is invincible. I can assure you he is anything but invincible, and I forsee a quick victory over a creature as blatently stupid as he is. His rag tag armies are no match for the fury of the Sentinels, and he will realize this all too late. The Sentinels will not rest until the very foundation of Russia is uprooted and the heathen bastard Putin lay dead. Russia stands no chance in this war against us, and now both sides have brought allies to the table. The GDODAD, the same organization we left recently, has come to our aid. We have not been forgotten by them, for they are loyal and true to their words. Together we will smite this Russian menace and send them all back into the Abyss.

The Warchifs nodded their heads, and smiles were beginning to show. The doors to the throne room opened, and in walked none other than The One That Shall Remain Unnamed. He wore his usualy attire, and as he entered he bowed respectfully to Damien.

Lord Dreadfire, the Death Dealers stand ready to assist the Dread Fires in their endeavor. Whatever your will may be, we shall do it above and beyond your wishes. From the depths I have awoken my kin, and our combined might will level any aggressors that make their way towards the shores. Tens of thousands of Death Dealers lust for warm blood and communist flesh, and they sing a sick song of pain and death as they await your orders. The Waters of War have been stirred, and now the Dread Fires shall consume all who stand in our way.

The One bowed again, and Damien nodded in approval. He then turned to his Warchiefs and finished the briefing. We have more than enough militia and Death Dealers to defend our country, and we can always call for aid should we need it. We shall not be on the recieving end any longer, we shall take this fight to Putin's doorsteps. As he spoke, Damien began gathering his body armor and equipment. The Dread Fires will visit him personally. The hour has passed, blood has been spilt. We shall pillage and burn Russia into oblivion! I swear I will not leave Russia without the severed head of Putin in my hands! To WAR!

*

<Message to Russian Forces>

You have struck first, and your actions have not been taken lightly. You have chosen to declare war on Automagfreek, and thus you shall die. Nobody who stands in our way will be spared, for the Dread Fires have come to claim their prize.....Russia. Soon my friend, soon you shall taste cold steel....soon you shall feel true pain. Russia may have seen many wars, but you have never gone where I am going to take you.

I am coming for you.

You know very well that both you and RF could never have any battle, because you would argue forever over "godmodding" issues. Furthermore, none of you has the grace and style to be willing to lose, so just stop now.

Admiral Brusilov stood on the bow of his flagship, the HMS Hammer of the Proletariat. He stared out into the distance, he could barely make out the green of land. Much of his family lived in Russia, and he would do whatever it took to defend them and their land. He had pledged to come back some day, but his duty gave him little free time. He had a feeling he wasn't going to ever leave Russia again...

Five Civilized Nations
25-01-2004, 08:58
The Five Civilized Nations expresses its willingness to help negotiate a settlement between Automagfreek and Russian Forces. Any war between the two nations will be disastrous and will cause high collateral and civilian casualties. As Sun Tzu wrote in the Art of War, "There is no instance of a country having benefited from prolonged warfare." Therefore, we call all nations to help the Five Civilized Nations in its efforts to preserve peace and the status quo...

So it has begun! The war where the tyrant Damien will be removed from his power! A war which will turn the forces of tyranny to dust! The Hammer and Sickle will shine over Automagfreek lands and the vile people will learn how to be equal instead of being slaves to Damien. We have allowed forces of Automagfreek to protect our lands. This time one step on Russia will be seen as a crime only punishable by death. Damien is a man who talks too much and its time to see if his power is as strong as the world fears.

Putin then first travels to a unknown location deep in the caucases. He then looks around, seeing so many Russian paratroopers in lines. He stands in front of them, preparing his speech. "Comrades! You all are fine soldiers who have fought against GDODAD before. I come here to congratulate you all for your service for your motherland but now you have a more important task! A task which is for the greatness of the motherland! You are to go behind enemy lines and teach that bastard Damien that you are men of steel! You are men for the people and you are the people!" Soldiers cheer as if they plan to fight and die in putins name.Putin then gets a phone call from the kremlin, forcing him to leave basically immediatly.

http://users.tushino.com/vandal/prikol/putin.jpg

Putin walks into his under ground bunker greeted by his generals. when he enters the war room surrounded by red banner with hammer and sickles he sits on his chair looking at the big board and listening to radio signals and awaits for the intelligence officers to give him info. "Its time to give hell to the land of insanity".

Already the pacific and Atlantic fleets approach Automagfreeks Sea's. Russian Su-33 fighter/bombers are dispatched to attack Automagfreek naval yards and ships. Russian Akula submarines close in to start ambushing enemy ships. Right now 400 Russian planes full of Paratroopers are headed to Automagfreek lands and are being escorted by Mig-31's and Mig-35's.

25-01-2004, 09:59
The Five Civilized Nations for the last time asks both nations to stand down and demobilize its military forces. If, you do not stand down, the Five Civilized Nations, its colonies, and allies, will intervene either militarily or economically. In addition, we ask all nations to assist our efforts in preserving our fragile peace and status quo.

[ooc: RF--Surprisingly I found you rnaval numbers to be relatively reasonable, but unless your army figures contain a hefy prtion of non-combat personnel, I'd suggest toning it down. A lot.

Your army can have 40 million people in it, but I doubt you'd have the transport capacity to send them to AMF in one trip.

ooc:- I suggest 1 million in first wave or you will have a messy (as in 3/4 of them killed or injured) landing, I suggest reviewing the allies D-Day invasion of europe as a referance guild. Remember you don't need to get them on the "beachhead" all at the same time, staggering the wave will allow you to change landing zones etc in response to AMF counter-offensive.

IC:
Ineffable High Command
"Russian bombers incoming, with a Mig escort."
"Meh. Activate the SAMs, dispatch defensive fighters, alert the defence satellites. Have them dispatch Jovian Lightning fighters and Phoenixes to intercept as well."
"It appears they are heading for the ports."
"Hmm. Perhaps this is a chance to use our new carrier. This will be interesting. Oh, ensure the First Fleet is protecting the ports as well, in case of a freak accident."

Ineffable Waters, off the coast of The Silver Turtle.
Towards the enemy aircraft flew an armada of fighters. As the aircraft began getting missile locks, from high orbit a second attack wave came. Spacegoing fighter craft and atmospheric attack craft descended almost vertically, firing off missiles, bullets and lasers into the enemy, the Ineffable craft diving straight through the Russian craft mainly aiming for the bombers. As they wheeled around underneath and began another attack, this time vertically from underneath the jet fighters broke formation and swarmed around attacking the remaining Russian craft mopping up.

Freekian Waters
The submarines were suprised at the rapid response from the Russians. The enemy torpedoes slammed into three of the submarines, one of which was destroyed. The explosion further damaged another submarine. The three submarined not too heavily damaged ducked and weaved their way through the Russian sub nets, glad there was little way they could be tracked. The damaged remaining submarine, knowing they had little chance of survival, fired off all their ammunition. Twenty cruise missiles sped upwards to the Russian fleet above. Countless torpedoes swarmed towards the Russian subs, bringing death to the Commie enemies of The Empire.

The Ineffable Armada, International Waters
"General Whang sir. It appears LRR forces have blockaded both Russian and Freekian waters, in order to prevent further military deployments."
"Bugger. Let me see the forces. Hmmm...It's no problem, but I don't really want to have to fight them if it can be avoided. Radio the LRR fleet, tell them we don't want to fight them unneccessarily, but if they attempt to prevent us from reaching Russian waters we will take the necessary measures.
And what's this? A Russian mediterrainian fleet? Moving near Freekian Greece? Hmm...have the Ineffable Iraqui Gulf Fleets counterattack."

-Edit: Removed mech and dropship deployments-

OOC: Repost of my last IC post yesterday. Today's will follow.
Russian Forces

Above RF
Thousands of red/gold streaks began crossing the Russian skies. Below, Russians looked up, unsure as to whether this was good or bad. But for them, it was very bad indeed. Escorted by hundreds of fighters, 2,000 Silver Shell dropships, 500 J.E.D.I. mechas, 200 Hellfire mechas and 300 Gold class mechas were descending upon the Kremlin. Dropships smashed into it, demolishing parts of it only to fill the rest of it with troops. The mechs unfurled from the cocoons that protected them during reentry, and then began consolidating their position. The Ineffable forces were setting up a defensive perimeter around the centre of the city. Russian troops were quickly mown down by minigun fire from the mechas and tanks were annihilated by the plasma blades of the J.E.D.I. mechs, the cannons from the dropships and the heavy weaponary from the Hellfires. 200 troops from the five dropships deployed into the Kremlin itself were assigned to locate and capture President Putin. His aides were to be shot but the President himself was to be taken alive.
The Ineffable Empire had long wanted to take out RF, enemy of The GDODAD, but it seemed the time may have finally come.

OOC: Repost of my last IC post yesterday. Today's will follow.

OCC: This is plain BS RP. Im not allowing my capital being that easy to be deployed upon. You must fix that up since assuming that i have radar which i frickin do i would detect these dropships and fire missiles and give Moscow a 4th of July party. Skhvals are not nukes.

ICC:

Freek Waters
Even though 3 enemy subs were knocked out 2 Russian subs were hit. One was destroyed while the other was damaged however had to surface and be repaired.

Soviet attack on Silver Turtle
Although Russian aircraft were unsuccessful with the loss of 20 aircraft while only 5 manage to escape (All escorts) the bombers managed to hit some buildings in the naval yard though it was not critical enough. Russia will be more careful sending a bomber force.

International waters.

Though enemy ships have not been deployed yet Russian Navy managed to slip in more troop transports and ships. Russian subs are being moved there to start harrasing any blockades.

The fact they had a fighter escort is because I knew the could be attacked and I had set up a defence against one. If you're allowing it, then please go ahead and attack so we can move on.
And I'm annoyed at your attack on the shipyard. The first defence was just that. After you're surviving craft escaped that they still have to face the SAMs, and then you've got my newly-built first-of-it's-kind uber-carrier fully loaded with planes waiting at the shipyard, along with the 1st, 3rd, 4th...Ineffable armed forces waiting all around the country for anything to come their way.

Kungshao, Dragon God of War felt a rage beyond mortal comprehension. Now, here within the shell of Edmund Dantes, a National Leader, he existed within limited capacity on Earth. True, here he was no God, but his mind was more than enough.

Damien! These Bastards in Russia DARE strike upon your soil, and expect you to simply bend over and take it, as Edmund would say. True, the fury of the Sentinels shall wash your shores clean with Russian blood, but that fury has ignited the flame of Vengeance within the hearts of millions of Templar. I come once again, Damien! Tersanctus shall come to take a piece of the glory that shall be yours! Russia shall fail in this endeavor! For I am Kungshao! And none shall challenge my loyalties, without facing my righteous rage! ALL FOR AMF! ALL FOR THE EMPIRE! ALL FOR TERSANCTUS!!

Meanwhile, in Tersanctan land, the Active Ten Million Templar began to make preparations for war, the Trisagion Imperial Army, and Trisagion Imperial Armada began to make preparations for an all-out assault for anyone who dared to pass upon AMF Territory.

Everything from tanks, to submarines, and Ships that carried incredible amounts of missiles were being prepared. All crews were working around the clock to make the deadline, in a few weeks, hell would be unleashed.
Magnus Valerius
25-01-2004, 12:15
All in Magnus Valerius was stirring. After the crushing victory over several of those idiotic nations that invaded his country, Emperor Alexander I Basilicus was filled with new vigor. Even if several close to him have perished, there will be much retribution to those nations that did it - later. As of now, Magnus Valerius was preparing to send a force to aid AMF. He needed to find a way to bring Magnus Valerius onto the world stage to end its 100+ years of "splendid isolation", first instituted by Emperor Franz I, the technophobic emperor, and that movement had its roots planted by Emperor Valens II. Perhaps Magnus Valerius will finally be able to modernize beyond its current level of technology.

Already the Automagfreek Expeditionary Corps was loading in the ports of Alexandria, with their naval escort armada ready to go. The capital ship, Hohenzollern, was to be the leading ship - and it was to be the deadliest of them all as well. Corporal Jozef Radetzky was summoned from his peaceful home in Vedui, and was on his way on a passenger rail car. The affable corporal will hopefully display his skills once more in this new conflict.

In all, Magnus Valerius will be contributing its 120,000 men and a sizeable portion of its navy to aid in the defense of Automagfreek. The emperor himself send a new message to Damien Dreadfire.

Greetings, Emperor of Automagfreek.

I, Alexander Basilicus, wish to pledge you forces in the coming conflict. We have already issued an order for 120,000 men to be loaded unto transports and to be shipped to AMF. They will be escorted by 32 Dreadnoughts, 27 Heavy Cruisers, 34 Cruisers, and 55 Submersibles. We hope for the best in the conflict, and if any more aid is needed, just send me a message and I will see what I can do.

Please do. I have a feeling I'll need more than two and a half million troops to invade a nation of RFs size.

Fascinating... this will be a war worth watching, no? We will not get involved at this time. Should anyone need help in attacking the Russians, we would be glad to serve as a staging ground for air or sea attacks. We wouldn't reccomend ground staging though. The entire land border is fifty miles of pure hell. Keeps out invaders and makes teh Who Wants to be an Immigrant show that much harder to win.

Emperor May arrives at the Greek air base in his private jet, prepared to visit the troops in Greece, and prepared to give them their orders.

"They look scared." he says to his bodyguard, Neo, as he notes the mood of the soldiers.

"Yes, sir, but they know what they must do."

"Yes, I suppose you're right."

He walks up to the podium as hundreds of thousands of soldiers crowd around the Emperor, prepared to hear his speech.

"Men, today is your day. Today is the day that we avenge the attacks on our good friend Automagfreek. Today, communist blood, along with your blood, will be spilled. Today, you WILL defeat Russian Forces!"

The crowd explodes into screams and cheers and clapping as the Emperor walks away from the podium.

At the same time, the first wave of attackers on Russian Forces prepare to mobilize. 5 million troops, supported by 500 T-72s, 350 T-90s, and 250 M1A2 Abram tanks, ready themselves to move out at any moment.

1. 5% of my population is over 40 million. Most of the time I use 1% but I issued a draft, therefore I have 25 million troops fighting in the war, but many of them are poorly armed.

2. Who says I can't have that many tanks? Tanks are our main focus when it comes to military. We specialize in tanks, so why shouldn't we be able to have that many tanks? The size of our navy is tiny compared to most people? Know why? Because I use those resources on tanks.

From there, Engineer units will begin construction of massive bunkers for the Artillary and Troops. If any attack comes from Greece, they would have to deal with these first. S-500 SAM systems are being set up in the hundreds around these bunkers as well.

OOC: That's why I refused to make an IC comment to begin with in the combat. But as I will post in the OOC thread, I would like to be an "Advisor". A referee is just too much.

Anyways, I would say Tasty Foods' forces is possible, and can be sent. But since that's a large amount of force, he must transport them by sealift ships, which will of course require captured ports (if he's going to Russian Forces immediately). If not, that amount of force will be transported for years to no end, aside from also getting the 25 million troops to be able to fight. Also I see absolutely no logistics support, engineering equipments, air defence, and the likes in there. All I could say is happy hunting.

Before you call on Normandy, actually note that Normandy is well-prepared far before the actual event to begin with. Without certain conditions, Normandy would be impossible.

OOC:

Well aren't you going to say something about Dr_Twist 20 million troops in Romania/Bulgaria?

About Dr_Twist however, I do believe he's sending them by land, although that's still too much. But remember, you also need some polishing on your numbers. You can't just exssentially teleport a total number of 33,500 tanks plus 25 million troops and say they are there in Greece.

Askland Harbor
Askland Point, West Scotia
12:06 a.m. local time

In the harbor, hundreds of feet below the cliffs of Askland Point, and just out of Copiosa Scotia's largest military port, ten large, black shapes slipped silently beneath the surface of the dark ocean. They drifted downward, approaching their maximum pressure tolerance more and more closely as they went, then finally levelled out for the long journey ahead.

The 1st Tactical Submarine Squadron was going to Automagfreek.

Though Automagfreek was not a great distance away, it would take the six guided missile submarines and four hunter/killers over a week to reach their destination. The subs, already remarkably stealthy, would stay deep and travel slowly, making them virtually invisible until the time came to execute their mission.

Aberden, New Cali
10:33 a.m. local time

Fleet Admiral Daniel Kowalski stood on the flight deck of the FPS Whitehall as it led the 8th Free Provinces Fleet out to sea. His orders had been appropriately vague for such a sudden deployment: he was to "observe" the conflict brewing in the area. The orders could, of course, mean exactly what they said. They could also mean that Speaker MacFarlane wanted ships in the area as soon as he could get the Assembly to issue a declaration of war against one of the nations... or both. He shuddered. Yeah, that'd ruin a good day.

Before I throw in my airforce and tanker plane fleet. I would like to make myself clear of any godmodding, with respect to New Genoa. First, my country's military doctrine is devotion to airpower. Second, I do not have a navy. Third, America has around 5,000 combat ready aircraft at any given time. Imagine a bigger nation and devoted more to an airforce, it can easily reach up to 15,000 combat ready aircraft at any given time. Fourth, the only way in and out of my country is by aircraft, short of having to break through hours worth of icebergs with icebreakers. Thus my country has a large aerospace industry to support that. Fifth, 2% drafting at any given time, which is acceptable both in peacetime and in war. 50% goes to logistics, 5% to the army and 45% to the airforce, there is no navy.

Alright. Does anyone object to what I said or can I post my airforce now?

The fleet had docked at Arkhangel'sk to unload the troops. About 95,000 were unloaded. The military High command had been afraid that such a large fleet would attract submarines, but luckily they did not encounter any. The infantry loaded into their transports (trucks and BMP-Ts). The force was centered around a core of 25,000 Hat Guardsmen, the elite of Hattia's armed forces, it was even rumored that even the some of the *Red Hammer units had been deployed. Hardened by conflicts in Smolny and at home, they were ready for a fight. The forces began moving south towards Moscow at high speeds. While the fleet headed back for reinforcements...

*The Red Hammer units are made up of the best of the Hat Guard brigades. They are very rarely deployed, usually to defend the homeland. Their numbers are rumored to only be around 5,000. Their training had a 93% dropout rate...

To kill the Red Bloc Army by rows and rows.

However, diplomacy must be done.
Oh how diplomacy ruins the fun,
Oh how much easier to fire a gun.

[Edit: By the way, I'm staying neutral for diplomacy reasons. To tell you the truth, the only reason the poem is here is because the forums were malfunctioning again and I needed to pass the time. I passed the time by writing a poem.]

Gdansk

At the docks of the great harbor of Gdansk, a great fleet of white ships prepares to set sail. They embark the 1st and 2nd LRR medical brigades, as well as their equipment. The bright yellow sea king will fly again!!!!!!

Later

The LRRNS Mother Teresa nears RF shores, along with the five other hospital ships of its squadron. However, the Mother Teresa is the only purpose-built hospital ship. The rest are converted Landing Dock Ships and helicopter carriers.

Captain Pete Daltrey watches from the bridge of his ship as the flotilla nears the coast of Russian Forces. Overhead, a bright yellow Sea King flies lazy circles around the ship. On the deck below, crewmen prepare the ship for landing, and intermingled with the sailors are DPM-clad medics. Captain Daltrey looks down to the RAM launcher that replaced his Ivan Rogov's cannon, and to the sailors getting in position for beaching.

A pair of Zubr class hovercrafts also near the coast. Captain Daltrey watches as the two hovercraft tear past the lumbering Ocean class helicopter carrier and Stromboli class oiler that make up, along with his ship the Dartmouth, his command.

The two hovercrafts near the RF shore, and contact Russian Forces command.

"Russian Forces port authority, this is LRR medical flotilla A requesting landing permission, over."

The cold water pounded on the ships' hulls as they drove through towards Russia. They were forced to slow down due to the amount of icebergs at this time of year, but the convoy was still making good time.

The original plan was to ship off to AMF, but things were too bogged down there to risk so many landing ships. Instead they were being diverted to Russia to keep any invaders out. They had taken almost the exact route the Hattian ships took, so they could keep the supply line intact.

Admiral Pyotr Vasilev watched from the bridge on his command ship, The Unmentionable Truth. His convoy consisted of 2 aircraft carriers, 5 destroyers, 5 frigates, 3 cruisers, his command ship, 10 submarines, 5 amphibious assault ships, and sealift and tanker ships. There were two other groups exactly the same as his within firing range should things go wrong.

The submarines were far enough below the surface that they could hunt for other submarines in the area. It was not likely for a sub to get past the sonar web they had set up. Even if a submarine did get past the net, it would be hard to get a positive lock on any of the surface ships through the interference of the crackling ice.

Vasilev ordered a message sent to the Hattian fleet ahead of him.

**Secure Message to Hattian Escort Ships**

Friendlies from Higera en route to reinforce Russian front. Rendezvous in 1hr 30. Secure waters for our arrival. Following convoy reports no enemy activity on the way out.

New Genoa, your math is wrong, JA is now where CLOSE to one million fighters, more like... 5,000? Something that is not too un-realistic, especialy when they are mostly tankers and transports. Look at his pop, and about logistics, give me a break, if we all posted everything, our posts would be pages long. I am assuming that they are putting together logistics as they go, the only time I will mod on things like that, is when people do something like drop troops behind enemy lines, now let us get back to war.

<OOC: Are you saying that his population excludes him from basic logistics? Deploying 5,000 aircraft at one time is extremely difficult to do... and about posts being pages long -- aren't roleplays supposed to be detailed? Give me a break. Besides, it doesn't take pages to handle logistics. 1.) Don't send unsupportable forces; 2.) RP supply lines periodically. Now that's not too hard is it?>

It's time to start stopping this war. We are mobilizing our blue helmet peacekeepers to prevent these two UN members (Russian Forces and Automagfreek) from destroying each other. Don't shoot at us, we're just here to stop civilian casualties. We are neutral so far.

P.S. Who is the agressor? Who is the more powerful side? Who is the more humanitarian side? Did any side attack civilians? Where is this war taking place? Answer all of those questions and I'll later join in on a side depending on the answers.

OOC: LRR, you have Poland? I guess I'm glad I left Crimmond out of this. Also, why does everyone like taking Eastern European nations as their own(me included)?

IC: Overlord Oran looked over the reports and smiled at his Generals. "Send three grav fleets to the internal border. Have Assault Marines and the Third Defensive Army deployed within eighteen hours. I want the Russian border secure, incase they try to make a ground offensive against us."

Across the nation, gravships loaded and lifted off from their bases. The closest began arriving within the hour, deploying around two hundred initial troops.

Four Supremacy class submarines, constructed by Baggera with plans stolen from another producing nation, move out into the Baltic from Kalinigrad, Riga and from patrols in the Gulf of Bothnia.

The message of safe haven and staging areas for a Russian sea/air invasion are broadcasted again from the capital in Minsk.

(OOC: I have semi-future/modern military. The border in question is the shared border between Russia and Baggera extending north from the Ukraine to the Gulf of Finland. I do not have stats on my military, but it will be no more than 30,000 actual fighters and about twice that in support. Although in a bind, the support units do have good combat training. Also note that there are two ships in each gravfleet that look and act remarkably like Melkor's Skyfurnaces. But that's just a coincidence...)

At last Russian submarines move in. about 50 are now engaging enemy ships while aicraft carriers are sending Su-33's and Mig-29k's to stop attacking enemy ships to begin safe passage of ground forces. However Russia has lost several subs and has a damaged aircraft carrier russian forces expects casualties. (This was from Silver turtle and James Adams)

OOC: I can't open FTP files.

IC: Oran smiled grimly. "Good. If they are attacking us, that's less they send out for invasions. Order the standard response."

Across the fifty mile no-mans-land of deathtraps, the artillery units respond with return fire. The shells are a mix of standard HE and a type of gas that makes soldiers vomit profusely, but no other big side effects.

A few of the wandering machines close to the Russian edge open fire as well, assuming the soldiers are contestant in 'Who wants to be an Immigrant'.

At the MASH units, doctors prepare to recieve the wounded.

Another grav fleet of eight ships arrives, adding it's longer ranged weapons to the SP artillery.

A pre-recorded message is sent to Moscow. Overlord "Hello Mr Putin. I don't believe we've had the pleasure of speaking before now. I had wished it was under better circumstances, but... oh well. As your reports are going to indicate, I have autorized the use of gas filled shells. These are not biochem weapons however, any more than teargas is. Just so we don't have shouts of WMDs and have this degrade into a nuclear conflict. See you on the battlefield, comrade.." The transmission ends with the view out of the window, troops marching into transports.

The Hattian forces arrived at the outer edge of Moscow. They had been moving through the night, and heard of the tear gas attacks by Baggera, so they had their chem gear ready. The long lines of T-90s, Black Eagles, BMPs (BMP-3s and Ts) and and a few other types of vehicles rolled through the streets while Mig-31s, Su-37s, and a few red colored HASC-2s streaked through the sky. Following them were many TU-95 'Bear' strategic bombers, and TU-160 'Blackjack' bombers. General Kirov in his command vehicle radioed Mr. Putin, "Greetings comrade, where would my forces be most useful?"

The fleet had picked up reinforcements from Hattia and was nearing Russia, this time a much larger fleet, carrying some 155,000 troops.

The first convoy arrived at the dock. The tankers and landing craft moved in, leaving the the first carrier escort behind to patrol and await the arrival of the next convoy, about an hour away. Their orders were to expedite unloading of the vehicles and then full speed it back to Higera for reinforcements.

The landing craft opened onto the remote beach and the tanks started rolling off. The tankers opened their holds to reveal columns of tanks, personell carriers, and transports. Fuel trucks were unloaded and then filled from the ships. They were ready for their trip to Moscow.

The transports were finished as the other carrier group came into sight. The ships unmoored and set course back to Higera, escorted by the same group that brought them there.

At that time, the 20,000 men rolled off in 2,000 T-90s and other assorted infantry, artillery and logistics vehicles.

Another group was forming up behind them, and two more would be only hours away.

There was an airport nearby where they would rendezvous. Cargo planes were already shipping items there too, flying over the space protected by the escort convoys.

Generalfeldmarscall Gustavus Adolphus, Bonstock's acting President since the death of Hu Li in the Civil war, watched his big screen TV. He was mostly interested in updates on the war in East Asia, but he became quite troubled by the events in Automagfreek.

He made a telephone call to the commander of the Flygsvapnet, General Robert Lung.

"Lung,"

"Yes, sir."

"What is our current intel situation for the Russo-AMF war?"

"Very well. Our agents in Moscow and ULE City are getting some good information."

"What do you think we should do about it?"

"Well, sir, it doesn't seem to be any of our business."

"It is threatening world peace. Severly. We need to act."

"How can we act, sir? Our forces are tied down in East Asia."

"That I know. But we are close to a breakthrough."

"Operation Adrianople Viking still hasn't suceeded as promised, sir."

"That is true. But I just got a call from Lieutenant General Chen in Japan."

"What does he have to say?"

"He says he has intelligence that the husband of East Islandia's Premier has been shot down over our territory."

"So?"

"The Premier is not stable. If we capture him, we can bring them to the negotiating table. That was the whole point of Adrianople Viking. It failed, but helped. There is talk of a ceasefire. And once our new bombers attack East Islandia, there will be negotiations, and likely peace."

"Peace with honor?"

"We will inflict our terms. We have a Japanese officer, Brigadier General Yoshihiro Hatanaka, who we are going to have appointed to Prime Minister. He will take orders from us, and allow our COMPANIES to control Japann. Then we ask for the sole right to train a Japanese Self Defense Force, and we will control Japann militarily, economically, and politically."

"Seems good. But should we be able to deploy to Automagfreek?"

"Send a transmission to AMF. Though this is none of our business, I would much rather see Russian Forces be defeated then ruling AMF."

"Yes, sir."

Subj: How can we help?

We would like to help your cause. At this time, however, we will only have a few forces avaliable. But they will be highly trained forces capable of harrassing the Russians as they invade you. If you would let us deply them to your nation, we will see what we can do to help. This may lead to more forces later, but we are still unsure of the situation.

The fleet neared the port in Arkhangel'sk again. Admiral Brusilov paced around on the bridge, "Bloody hell, if I knew all we were going to do was escort, I wouldn't have volunteered for this job." "The Higeran fleet is approaching sir!" the radarman said. Brusilov walked over to the intercom, "All crewmen onto the deck..."

As the Higeran ships passed, the crews stood on the deck and saluted the passing fleet. A few hours later the fleet arrived in port and began unloading the troops, 1500 T-90Ss along with 355 Black Eagles rolled off of the transports along with BMP-3s, and various other vehicles. After the tanks had been dropped off another group of ships moved into the dock, carrying 105,000 infantrymen and logistical, support, and supply vehicles. While transport planes droned by overhead dropping ammo, food and other supplies that the troops would need...

You obviously don't understand what kind of consequences there are for throwing around resources like that. You also don't seem to understand that the days of numberwank on NS are done. Wars are fought through RP, not landing millions upon millions of troops. Do you not undertand logistics? Do you not understand that you cannot transport 40 million troops to my shores? Hell, sending more than 100,000 is near impossible. You have no understanding of how to RP war, and everybody I've talked to so far has asked me why I'm even bothering. Face it, it is a privilege for you to be "RPing" with me, because just about everybody else on NS would have ignored you on general principle.

In a fit of annoyance, the Five Civilized Nations offers the services of its military to the nation of Automagfreek against the acts of the aggressor Russian Forces... We have deployed 25% of our submersible assets to waters around Automagfreek to prevent any naval assault... In addition, we will provide Automagfreek with generous loans and massive amounts of military equipment.

And finally, we make one last plea for all nations involved to stand down and agree to international peacekeepers...

OOC:Baggera, you're located in Belarus?OOC: I control Belarus, Lithuania, Kaliningrad, Latvia and Estonia.

Also, I have no problem with RF's post, except for the tanks. I will not except anything over 15,000. He has also limited me a bit with the absense of gravfleets now... oh well.

IC: The tanks find themselves crossing what is, by all accounts, the scariest and most dangerous place on earth. Fifty miles thick of mines, walls, barbed wire, pools of posion gas, radioactive zones, lots of unexploded shells and waiting on the other side... the now 3,000 assault marines and army, directing heavy shelling in front of the tanks as the progress.

The stokpiles are under the heart of cities, in bunkers accesible by several routes throughout the cities. Apparently the military was not shy about using human shields.

Aniti-aircraft fire greets the planes, along with F-15E and MIGs(whatever is the F15's equivilent, I forget), along with the occasional F4 Phantom.

When whatever is left of the forces reaches the other side, the 8,000 Baggeran forces tanks, who had not fired as of yet, begin to open up, but take heavy losses from the still overwealming force. This is countered with the use of 3,000 A-10s being launched from various bases, armed with the maxium of firepower the airframe is capable of carrying.

The shelling across the no-mans-land continues, intensifying slightly. The gas attacks cease for now, now just pounding with HE.

Around 300 soldiers are killed from shelling, just under 800 tanks being disabled or destroyed.

Wrong, your resources are not unlimited.

I Am frickin rich and make USA of today look like Estonia!

I make the US look bad, but I'm not claiming to have over 50,000 tanks. AMF only has 15,100 tanks, and even THAT'S pushing it.

Have you ever heard of planning for war? Also im not sending 40 million soldiers at once, They are constantly going to be sent.

Erm...planning for war is still not goign to give you unlimited resources. As for your 40 million troops: there is no way you can keep that many men supplied, even if they are being sent in waves. 40 million men comsume alot of food, shoot alot of ammo, and get wounded alot. You fail to take these things into consideration.

Also GDODAD are not the best Rpers in the world as well. Look at this.... Mechs in the kremlin.

They are way better RPers than you. Hell, even MagicChina can RP better than you.

And as a nation of 2 billion and the money i can build so many forces.

Anyway, I am not accepting anything over 15,000 tanks for the reason that it is stratigicly stupid to send 50 grand into an invasion like that into a border I have.

Now. Post something feasible so we may continue with this war.

Number wanking is not necessarily always successful... In ancient China, during the Three Kingdoms Period, an army of 1 million was annilihated by a tiny army of some 40,000... During the Civil War, the North had the numbers on its side, but the South held out for four years, only losing because of its lack of factories and manufacturing capability. More recently, the Russians haven't been able to do anything with Chechnya, even though its army probably outnumbers the entire population of that province...

Assuming you send a bit at a time you could send 40 Million troops, but if you've not got a near by staging ground it could take a long time to deploy that many troops... after all, it probably takes a week or so to make the trip one way by boat... then another week or so to go back... it could be a long time before there all in AMF.

But then again... if we want to avoid stat wanking...

Then the suppy lines got stretched and the soliders ran out of just about everything, while the Union was fighting deep in their territory, so supply was a lot easier.
