The Internationale, currently composed of the People's Republic of Zainfidel, The Free Land of Strefethen, The Free Land of Marijua-Hookastan, and The Holy Empire of The Stephen would formally like to invite all interested diplomatic parties to establish relations with the region.

The Internationale is located in the Cyclades, with each state having cities on several islands.
Militarily, economically, and socially the Internationale is an incredibly close knit band of nations. While each has its own currencies, the currencies are set as equal to one another so trade between the states is both extensive and fair.
On a military front, every nation contributes some of its citizens each year either in the form of combat troops or support only troops (Marijua-Hookastan and Strefethen) to the cause of defense and the eventual destruction of religion, capitalism, and dictatorships.
The end of these three things is the fundamental force that guide all states of the Internationale towards their communal future.

The strong regional government center is located on the island of Melos, a neutral island with no affiliation to any one country. Fully integrated into the excavated rubble of the massacred fifth century population, the governmental hub serves as a constant reminder to the Internationale of the dangers of capitalism and imperialism.
It is a small city, consisting solely of a military installment, a naval installment (both for security) and the governmental complexes which house and employ approximately 100,000 people from each state.

If delegates are interested in beginning dialogue with the Internationale they are encouraged to send delegates to the regional center (post on this thread) or to issue telegrams to any of the member states.

The nation of Stefethen took its name from noted cognitive scientist and political activist S. M. Trefethen, and attempts to model itself after her political theories.
As such there is no concept of personal property, a complete absence of drug laws, and no police force.

As a founding member of the internationale, Strefethen gives 1% of its population to military service for the cause of international revolution, however its troops serve solely in support roles, more often than not as engineers and social workers within the member nations rather than on the front lines.

The national passtime is Hockey, which is played in a completely free wheeling style. There has never been a fight at a S.H.L. game nor have there been any five minute major penalties. Despite, and, more likely, because of this, the league is known for its incredibly skilled passers and skaters, and is regularly a darkhorse favorite at world matchups.

Strefethens main industry is manufacturing of wood chips, however marijuana is also a major cash crop.

Stefethen is located on the island of paros and welcomes any visitors who would wish to open up trade or diplomatic relations.

Less than 24 hours ago, a nation was born.

Communities that had previously suffered from division, separated by ancient superstitions, class warfare, and authoritarian dictates, joined forces to extricate themselves from these constraints.

These communities, representing tribes from the islands of Naxos and Santorini in the Cyclades chain, came together in a union of atheism, solidarity, and freedom to form the People's Republic of Zainfidel.

The People's Republic of Zainfidel represents the fruit of long eons of superstition. Conquered by pagans, Christians, and Muslims, our people were forced apart, to renounce their similarities and exploit their differences. Religion had stained our consciousnesses so that we could no longer recognize each other as human beings. This defunct institution proved itself inept at achieving its goals. All mankind wants peace and prosperity. But religion does not provide it. For too long have men, women, and children fought and died over such ridiculous concepts as the divinity of a human being, the sanctity of a piece of dirt. Times have changed in Zainfidel. We represent the future: the emancipation of man from god.

The People's Republic of Zainfidel represents the fruit of long eons of poverty. Industrialized by the powerful productive capabilities of capitalism, our people benefitted from a leap in the standard of living unseen in human history. Accompanying these benefits, however, were abject want, racial division, aristrocratic conglomerates. All mankind wants peace and prosperity. But capitalism does not provide it. For too long have people been categorized by the amount of wealth they possess, the poor forced into wars to perpetuate the rich and powerful. Times have changed in Zainfidel. We represent the future: the emancipation of man from money.

The People's Republic of Zainfidel represents the fruit of long eons of oppression. Controlled by the moneyed classes, who freely elected leaders that provided them with security in their domination, our nation was subjected to outrageous restrictions on behavior and thought. Politicians no longer offered solace to the population, spared no effort to control our lives. All mankind wants peace and prosperity. But authoritarianism does not provide it. For too long have some subjected others to their will, curtailing individuals' freedom to behave as unfettered agents of their own volition. Times have changed in Zainfidel. We represent the future: the emancipation of man from taboo.

Given our history, the People's Republic of Zainfidel can only hope to bring this Enlightenment to the rest of the world. We seek nations that believe in these goals, and welcome contact with any that would like to help our cause.

The Holy Empire of the Stephen is a founding member of the Internationale. Primarily we're random quirky, eccentric people who tend to be named Stephen and Stephanie. We came to inhabit this empty land together because we find the name Stephen is powerful, as it translates to "crown" in Greek. Thus, a community full of us must be incredible at whatever pursuits we follow, especially if we're located on a Greek island. We've chosen however, not to be egomaniacal powerlovers, and love our neighbors in the Internationale. We joined this group for similar reasons as the others, we have an abiding distrust in capitalism and believe a human is more than the income he or she can produce in an industrialized world. Instead of looking out for simply our own interests we believe the world powers have a responsibility to tackle the issues facing our world and find harmonious ways to interact.

Our Empire is first and foremost an artists haven(no drug laws). The Stephen Ballet Company is our most prized institution, creating artistic and technically refined dancers as well as amazing choreography. The artistic director is the emperor Steve. We also have major subsidies for sculpting, painting, writers, and poets. Children have compulsory education in all arts, including the martial types(Muy Thai, Hawaiian kenpo, grappling, and kenjitsu) . Our Empire believes in educating the body as well as the mind, creating a healthy existence for our citizens. It also eliminates our need for a police force, as all citizens are respectful of their neighbors strength. Our main economic activity is furniture restoration, and international clientele trust our craftsman with their most cherished posessions.

As a great deal of our work is in the arts, we tour extensively with the Ballet and galleries of our works. Because of this, we have invested in the Internationale's navy. Our nation provides most sailors and equipment for the force. Our homeland is the island of Karistos in the Cyclades, and we posess a naval base on the island of Anafi. CACE is one of the longest establish alliances in the NS world and welcomes new members commited to anticapitalism and civil rights.
