the Representative Alliance of Nations

25-01-2004, 01:04
Ladies and gentlemen, the world is a turbulent place. The once-powerful United Nations only referees half the world's nations and probably a small fraction of the world's population. Evil empires and dictatorships run wild, attacking those smaller than themselves with impunity as the fifteen percent of the world that is a democracy stands by and does nothing. The idea of representative government is spat upon far and wide, while the citizens of these blessed countries simply watch and wallow in their wealth. Are there no compassionate nations that wish to bring the light of representative government to the trillion downcast people? At the very least, are there nations willing to step in when evil attacks freedom unharried? I say there are! There is the Representative Alliance of Nations (tRAN) was formed by those willing to protect the small! To help the innocent! To improve the world! The Confederated States of Beraag is not the only nation willing to help! Simply ask, and we will review the facts of your oppression, and if we find you worthy of our aid, we will provide military assistance! If you wish to join, just ask! If you wish to threaten our peace and freedom, then I say, right here and right now, GET OUT OF OUR SIGHT! For we will not stand by! We will roll up our sleeves and go to work, for the freedom and safety of humanity!

Yes, there are willing democratic governments that would be happy to join your alliance - and we are one of them. Friend Beraag, we of the Allied States of Maccabean Greenland wish you the best luck in your future, and wish to be among the first to jump on the tRANwagon, as it were.

If that means join tRAN, then you are welcome. Come, all defenders of peace! This alliance is for you!

I would join, but there are way too many organizations/alliances out there. I myself am a founder of the Legion of Defence (LoD), an organization aimed at defending others. The LoD really took off and is a major organization with over twenty members. My advice to you is to create boards, draft a good charter, and put hours of hard work into your organization. It worked for me.

:) Yes, that's what I meant. And naknak is right; we do need a charter. And a member list. And a website if we're going to get this started.

I'm on it. And the charter will be clear about who is protected and who gets invaded.
