Would you elaborate on that? What properties make socialism more useful and effective than straight capitalism? Or even a mixture of the two?

Please.You are capitalist, We are Pro CSocialist. We dont bother you, you dont bother us. I hope you contact My Asian Alliance and ask them about Freedom of Government.
My Reason-Because we belive in another form of equal rights.

Capitalism is a proven, working system.

Socialism provides equality in the 'some are more equal than others' sense.

please, even as a devout follower of the Marxist Ideals I'm not so foolish as to belive that Communism will ever become a workable economical stratagy for large groups, simply because it is human nature to want more than you have, its why we are so highly evolved. Its a great idea, and in small groups, it works best, however, it is simply unworkable in large groups. As for historical references, I would like to point you towards the Utopian society movements of the Industrial revolution, it, like Communism, was based on the principal that humanity was at heart, a fair, kind, and loving speices. .. simply isn't so. sorry to burst your bubble. . . as for efficientcy, there is no way in hell that socialism by ANY guise is efficient, it simply isn't possible, as it has to allow EVERY worker a job, reguardless of skill and work ethic.

but, thats just my oppinon, backed up by NEARLY EIGHTY YEARS OF HISTORY. . . I could be wrong.
