After a long time in office, the beloved Michaswai Laskin has decided not to run for reelection. He will remain a voice of guidance and wisdom for Trinis. Here the candidates:
Michael Gillhart:A politician with experience, Gillhart served in the Senate for two terms, where he initiated the Immigration Act, allowing more refugees in to the country, and the Education Reform Act, which increased funding for education and school counseling programs. He campaigns to keep the current level of welfare, healthcare, and education, but wishes to lower the high income tax rate a bit.
Bishop Casimir Chechovich:A bishop in the Catholic Church, Chechovich wishes to bring about moral reform to Trinis, putting ethics and family on a higher level and banning abortion, and other such practices.
Charles Norris:A representative for six years, Norris wishes to decrease spending on social programs a bit, introduce more lax tax laws, and make Trinis's small but healthy industries larger. He also wants to give a higher funding to the some areas that are slightly neglected by the rather liberal government.
