IC: Lord Reil Tian steps up to the podium. "I formally request that a meeting be set up between myself and Mr Putin to discuss a treaty. Not a pact or alliance. Simply a treaty of non-interference.

"As a further sign of goodwill, I am offering to travel to Moscow. Alone. No gaurds, no escorts and no weapons. I have nothing to fear from the Russian government and I hope the Russians know the same is true about the Imperial Totality.

"I will be ready to leave as soon as my transport has clearence for travel to Russia." Reil steps down from the podium, looking at it a moment longer and smiling, then walking out of the room, leaving everyone in the room stunned.

"Sir... with all due respect.... What the hell do you think you're doing?" asked, no demanded, Ambassador Krall'c. "They are Communists! They cannot be trusted. Ever."

Reil stared at the eight foot tall lizard. "That's what they said about your species. I suppose you'll want to give up your position now and retire?" Reil smiled through the glare and watched the lizard leave. Krall'c hated to be defeated in anything.

Vladimir Putin is interested and wants you to come to Moscow. We understand this will be something important for both of our nations.

OOC: Man, calm down. I was busy in RL for a few minutes.

IC: "My transport will leave immediatly."

A coomercial transport plane took off from a base in Southern Crimmond, looping around through the Ukraine to avoid the airspace of a mutual enemy, Baggera.

The Yak-42 was not a plane used in Crimmond, even when the air travel industryies were still operating. The American and Western European makes were more popular. But a foreign leader arriving in Russia in a Russian plane, alone(except for his pilots), was a plan to show even further respect to the Russians.

(OOC: Lets skip the tower/pilot jabber when the plane arrives. I find it annoying.)

IC: In Moscows Airport Putin waits with his few generals while a red carpet is being prepared as well as a few hundred Russian soldiers in trench coats were standing in formation. Snipers were placed on top of buildings to avoid assassinations of any type.

Putin looks up in the air and see's the aircraft touching down People our of the Airport were cheering holding Crimmond and RF Flags. Once the plane stopped a Red Army choir band played the Crimmond anthem when Lord Reil Tan got out of the plane. Putin walked forward in the red carpet with his generals.

Reil looked around and smiled as he walked down the stairs. They went all out it seems...

Reil walked up to Putin and bowed once, then extended a hand. "Mr. Putin, I am glad to be here in your nation."

OOC: I'm out for the night. I'll respond again in the morning.

Putin bows back and shakes hands.

Reil looked around again. "More of a welcome than I expected." He then turns to face Putin again. "Shall we?" he asked, gesturing him ahead.

Putin replied "Yes comrade".

a Limousine with a RF and Crimmond Flag on each side of its front drives into the airport. Pravda News cameramen are taking constant pictures like a machine gun. A Russian Officer opened the door of the Limousine gently. Putin then said " Lets discuss things in the Kremlin". Both leaders entered the vehicle and it drove off with UAZ's and BTR-80's following the Limousine.

Reil looks out the window. "Looks like you've got the same weather we're getting back home." He smiles. "I never did like being posted to the tropics when I was in the Marine Air Corps. Seemed like Satan decided he wanted a sunroom."

Putin laughs and responds "well you're lucky enough to be out in the baltics. It is much colder out here and good get even more colder. Russians are use to this weather anyway but not everywhere in Russia is cold. Being an Ex-KGB agent i have been nearly everywhere".

Putin grabs a bottle of Vodka and says "Care to have a drink comrade"?

Reil shakes his head. "I'm sorry, but I don't drink before negotiations. Thank you anyway." He looks back out the window. "Last time I was here... it was nearly a century ago. Many things have changed. Many things have not."

"Ah a smart idea Mr Reil. I see you want to get into business." Putin replies with a grin. "One thing for sure Russians can not make up their minds in politics. So many Regime changes in so little time." Putin laughs but then gets serious saying "I'll make sure we won't change now! One day we'll might have a revolution with nuclear weapons". We can not allow that.

Putin then looks out of the window and says "ah there is the kremlin right now". The Limousine stops while its escorts drove away. A Kremlin Guard opened the door. As up tight as Kremlin guards naturally are, he stood like one of those british guards in bukinham. He then said "Welcome comrade Reil to the Kremlin".

Reil smiles. "Thank you, comrade," he says, looking at the walls and buildings. "Fortresses always intrigued me as a child... they were just beginning to lose their effectiveness in war then." He smiles and brushes his white hair back, revealing why he talked as if he were hundreds of years old, but looking in his twenties. The pointed ears of an elf, yet too rounded for a full elf.

Vlaidmir Putin and Reil both walk into the Kremlin.

When they arrive at the meeting room/office/whatever, Reil gets right to the point. "Mr Putin, the agitation of the Comminists, directed by you, is posing a direct threat to free market societies everywhere. I want to know, first of all, what are your intentions? You have threatened all of Europe several times and backed down because of international resolve to stop such actions. Then... then you build up this new Red alliance and preach the destruction of the capitalists."

Lord Tian leans forward, eye narrowing. "I am both European and a capitalist, as is my Empire. So, Mr President... what are you planning?"

"I have threaten Europe various amount of times because it is Europeans who are the ones who strike the motherland first. Like in the cold war we need lands to protect us from Europeans being able to make a direct assualt on Russia". Putin replies furiously. "Your country was once part of the USSR and now splinter countries like yours believe you are better off on your own. I don't trust baggera nor your country because you can be potential GDODAD deployment zones." Putin hits the table with his fist. He then points out of the kremlin window. "You see this? This is Moscow and it has been sieged so many times but has never fully fallen. It has always been under siege by French,Germans,Mongols and at times GDODAD. Some day this will change and Moscow will fall but by whom is the question".

"The RBA is only a Defence alliance. Like NATO and the Warsaw Pact. You see everything that has or is being done is for Defence purposes. To keep Europe off our lands we must use power."

Reil growled. "The Empire was NEVER part of the Soviet Union. During World War II, we made deals with the Soviet military. They rolled right through and left us behind to wreak havoc on the Poles. The area destableized into a warzone that Hitler or Napolean would envy and dread. It took fourty damn years, tens of millions of lives, but we won that bloody hell of a war. Baggera is a splinter state, not us! Don't forget that..."(OOC: I have an entire timeline made up. I tried to find the link, but the search is a pain in the ass. I have most memorized though, as it's pretty straightforward.)

He pauses to collect himself. "As for the GDODAD... I don't trust them more than I trust Melkor to watch my cat. Yes, we were part of the GDODAD when it was strong. It was dying. We left. Pissed a whole helluva lot of the nations still in it off. And I will tell you that I will never allow another nation to mobilize anything more than a security detail for a diplomat in my nation. We cut ourselves off completely from the world. We don't even have roads that exit the Empire.

Now... you, as well as I, know that the RBA is NOT going over well with the capitalists. They think you want to strike at everything they and I believe in. I don't believe that however. I think you want to take back what you either didn't get or lost after the Third Reich crumbled. Sometimes I think we should have listened to Patton. The USSR became the number one threat to peace after Germany. Sometimes I think we should have turned the German Army around and tried to stop you people from getting this powerful..."

He looks out the window. "But that is the past and a man's own thoughts run away with him. We didn't listen to Patton. You are here. And you are as powerful as you are. I can't stop you from starting an offensive Mr. Putin... but I can get you to leave my Empire out of it. I do not want to order the bombardment of this beautiful city and its people, nor any other Russian city."

He turns and comes around the table. "Mr Putin, I want to sign a treaty of non-interference. You may do as you wish to this continent, but leave the Empire out of it and we will act as if nothing is happening. Well... save for shooting any refugees that dare to run the border..."

Putin stares into Reils eyes, sitting up like if he was about to leave the chair. "Stalin was a crazy man but he knew what he was doing. He didn't want another Barbarossa. Patton just wanted another war and have fun playing with his toys. Your country was a staging ground for the invasion of the Motherland and don't forget that! We provided you security during the times of Post WWII and this is the thanks we get!"

Putin then sits comfortably again and takes a zip of Vodka and calmly says "I envy you for leaving GDODAD, i really do. Well thats why you and your nation still has my respect. RBA is none of your concern for we just want to spread our ideals but not with force but showing force keeps enemies of our ideals at bay. I agree with this treaty comrade for baggera is what my eyes are set upon more than crimmond."

Putin than calls for some politicians to prepare the papers.

"So What are the terms"? Putin asks.

Reil smiles. "Simple. You, in ANY war against the European continent, whether you start it or not, do not impinge upon Imperial land. In exchange we shall remain neutral or even render assistance, should your cause feel compelling enough to me and my staff. Also... that if you do manage to take Baggera, bring Var'chak to me. He was the most decorated General of the war and turned on me after I took power. He is to be tried and executed, if he is ever captured." Reil sits, waiting for Putin's counter offer.

ICC: "Comrade! It pities me to see you frightened of us. I always hoped to be looked at as a friendly neighbour. Ok we will nto touch your lands but i want something from you. If i ever go to war with baggera you must not let anyone send their troops to your lands to defend Baggera. Is that clear comrade Reil?"

Putin then calls his assistant to print the papers and the terms quickly.

Putin looks back at Reil and says " This treaty will be enforced and you will be safe. Not a single Russian soldier will step on Crimmond soil."

A Politician brings in a folder and places it on the Presidents desk.

"Ah I see that the papers are in order. One in Russian and the other in Crimmond. Now we're supposed to sign both of these."

Putin signs both papers with his signature and then gives them to Crimmond.

Reil smiles. "Always fear your enemies, your allies and everyone else on this wartorn rock. Then you will always be ready. Also, in my nation's weakened state... we cannot afford to be in a war." Reil signs both, smiling at his condition. "Baggera and Crimmond are in a state of cold war. The border is a fifty mile deep hell. We hate them as much as we hated the Polish government." That was saying a lot.

Lord Tian extends his hand and speaks in Russian(OOC: of which I speak zilch), "It has been a pleasure comrade. You are welcome in Skye anytime."

Vladimir Putin smiles and then says "it is done. I'll keep the Russian one while you keep the Crimmond one. The Non Agression has been set in motion"

Reil smiles. "Then I take my leave of you, comrade." He says and steps out of the door, putting the document in a folder.

When his plane lifts off, he flips on the commlink he had installed and laughs his head off at the news of the RF/AMF conflict, then turns on the uplink for his own nation. Damn. Not gone an hour and he already starts a war... Putin, you are a trip, man.

He turned on a visual link and prepared to make a statement.
