Beaten by the greeks by a wooden horse, the survivors of Troy vowed never to be tricked again, and so they began re-building their nation to its former glory.

Years later, the nation of Troy has been re-born and is introducing itself to the world.

We are a very weary nation, but we do have the odd prince who likes stealing kings wifes :wink:

IC: Seeing that the nation of Troy had somehow survived the Greek attack, a massed fleet of Cirith Ungul soldiers arrives, and the soldiers begin to round up the populace for use as slaves and doormats.

IC: The Imperial Dominion has officially recognized the Dominion of New Troy as a sovereign nation. We would also like to announce we are placing New Troy under protectorate status. While this does not infringe on any freedoms enjoyed by the New Trojans, it does mean that the full force of the Imperial Dominion will be brought to bear upon any nation showing aggression towards our newest ally.

OOC:cirith ungul,at least he is named after a city that fell to the romans long ago,youre named after a tower in LOTR (best novel/series-w/e).

Impostor. Nations of the world, this 'New Troy' is a fraud. We are, and always will be, the only representative of the grand nation of Troy that was razed by the armies of the wretched Achaeans many moons ago.

IC: The military transports, their slow, hulking shapes splashing the port with waves, retreat from the new nation, leaving behind only a scrap of paper with the Ungul seal. The paper reads:
"We, the people, of Cirith Ungul, would like to welcome the nation of New Troy to the enourmous community of nations, and would like to extend the nation its hand of friendship, in hopes that future relationships may exist between the two soverign nations.

Not quite. The city of Troy fell to the Greeks long ago, but were in fact the progenitors of the Romans, who supposedly fled from Troy and eventually landed in Italy. At least, that's what their history books say. I'm guessing that they mostly consisted of native Italians and a few refugees from Troy.

New Troy is a protectorate of Sdaeriji. Any military action taken against them will be met by the full might of the Imperial Dominion and all her allies. Tread carefully.

It is our land. If you support these rebels for claiming the land of an already established nation, then you are truely insane. We built ourselves up for over a hundred years since we gained independence from Turkey. Over a hundred years. I'm not going to let this tin-pot so-called nation attempt to steal what is ours and has been ours for a century.
