Alexander was recently named Emperor of the Republic after his father, Icarus, was killed. Alex watched his father die at the hands of a supposed “political seperatist” known as Meleagent. Alexander wasn’t really ready to take the reigns of leadership, but he was forced into it due to the circumstances. Alexander has always been a quiet person, but mistaking that silence for weakness would be an error in judgment. Alex is capable as a leader and as a fighter –his 10 year training and subsequent mastery in the use of a broadsword being the primary cause- so trying to take advantage of his age and inexperience would prove rather fruitless.

Lord Protector Samson Usea
Age: 49
Height: 6’2”
Weight: 212 pounds
Hair Color: gray/silver
Eye Color: dark green
Political Affiliation: Conservative
Samson was Lord Protector of Alex since the boy’s childhood. Samson had also served as Icarus Traiden’s bodyguard for most of his life. He is a source of wisdom for the young Alex who is still uncertain about his own abilities to lead. While Samson is old as far as a soldier goes, his own experience with combat has proven very effective in dealing with threats. His movements may be slow and methodical, but the Lord Protector makes no mistakes.

Foreign Affairs Director John Guilder
Age: 35

John is one of the “new age” thinkers within the highest echelon of the Eurydian Government. He more than likely holds the most important position within the Republic, save that of the Emperor himself. John is usually bored with his job though, as he doesn’t have much time for his own life. Still, he is quite possibly the greatest Foreign Affairs Director Eurydice has ever seen.

Commander Arthur Guilder

John and Arthur are basically carbon copies of each other. Even though they were born two years apart they are almost twins, at least in appearance. Arthur was a ship captain while John was interning for the Eurydian Government. Eventually Arthur retired at the age 30 and took up a lucrative job opportunity as the head of the Farstation. He is a capable officer whose only downside is his tendency to make quick decisions that often lead to bad situations.

Reamus Kastor –and the entirety of the Kastor family- is the richest man on Eurydice. He built a corporation from the ground up, and eventually managed to buy out all of his major competitors. Wealthy enough to build and maintain his own fleet (which comprises most of the EBN), Reamus is almost as powerful as the Emperor himself. Reamus tends to be outgoing and personable in public, but on the inside he is a rather lonely man.

Wayden is the leading Noble within the Reform Party, and so he receives the most publicity. The Ultran Family is the second most wealthy, behind House Kastor. He is young, charming, handsome, a woman’s dream. Wayden’s sister, Mia, works as an Ambassador on the Farstation.

House Balen is one of the oldest families on Eurydice. Steeped in folklore and legend, the Balen family is well respected. Although they aren’t nearly as rich as the Ultrans or Kastors, House Balen’s overwhelming sense of wisdom and age win it the seat at the head of the Conservative Party. Feldor has served as his family’s representative for over 30 years. He’s an aging man who doesn’t accept criticism from Reform Party members well.
