Bad intentions brew over problem of Mirfak III.

The Xanthalian government continues to be at a loss today as to a method for getting rid of Mirfak III's many residents. The planet, an exile establishment for Xanthalian criminals, currently hosts approximately forty million sentients. Now, though, the Xanthalian government wants to make the planet partially eligible to the law and inhabitable for citizens of the Republic as well as 'peaceful' outlaws. Several ideas of what to do about the planet's current criminal population are going on as this report goes out in the government of Xanthal. These ideas range from attempting integration of the criminals to forcibly moving them to Aellis IV to using biological weaponry to eliminate them. Currently, the latter is the most favored suggestion. Unfortunately, it goes against the Xanthalian Primary Law which states that the government does not have the right to take the life of any sentient being unless absolutely necessary. The discussion has been opened internationally for suggestions.

Unfortunately, it goes against the Xanthalian Primary Law which states that the government does not have the right to take the life of any sentient being unless absolutely necessary. So your Government couldn't kill them, or do anything violent to them unless it was necessary hmmm?

That's the idea. The problem is, what's the alternative? We can't just move citizens among the criminals, and we have nowhere to move the criminals to.

IC: Well, I could list a few alternatives...

Why not spend your time posting in the threads (I think there's five or six of them by now) that we have together that you've simply stopped posting in? I'm becoming very frusterated trying to RP with you since you keep disappearing from our stories.

Is this where thse five dreadnaughts came from?

Yes, partially. This is entirely OOC, nobody knows this yet (that includes Xanthal IC) but... The Dreadnaughts are under the control of Xanthalian exiles seeking revenge against the country that abandoned them. And some of them have hidden motives, too, but we'll see that develop later. I've said too much already. And don't go IC tracking their origins. Even after decades of having their best intelligence men on it Xanthal still never managed to track down those Dreadnaughts.

Xanthal: I'm looking into those right now, trying to sort things, sorry, if I hadn't been hit by a short absence I'd be fine.
