Naomi Woldson, a child, a mere little girl, with the power to move the world.
Or so she was imagining herself to be at the moment. Naomi stood up over the snowbank, and shouted "Bow before your Queen!"
And was peppered by snowballs, the white snow matching her hair almost prefectly. She immediately started to laugh and fell down, behind her snowbank. Her friend, Rayne, came running up. "I cast ressurect on you, see, ressurect."
"Ok!" said Naomi, the ten year old stood back up. "She ressurected em, so I'm back."
"You can't be ressurected, your playing Sakura, and Sakura doesn't do magic, she got skills." said a boy, trying to a jump kick to impress everyone, and promptly falling off the bank. The assembled children laughed at him.
"Elliot, she may not do it, but everyone else does it for her, and brings her back to life! Duh." said Naomi, sending a snowbakll his direction. Suddenly she stiffened.
The eyes were not as good, but the nose, the nose was the scent. It smelled something familar, the smell of leather, sweat, and a tingling of lightning. The fox lifted its head, to greet it's brother, the boar.
The boar crouched down, and scracted the fox on its head. The resulting words were not understood, but their meaning was implied. The boar was looking for its sister. And the fox knew where to find her, and they took off.
Naomi shook her head as her senses cme back to focus.
"Sorry guys, I gotta go, my bro is coming."
Sure enough, Scott Woldson, a tall skinny man, carrying a massive black blade on his back, greeted his younger sibling.
"Come sis, time to go to eat."
Naomi nuzzled her brother's neck, and smiled. She was happy, and her pet fox, Kit, bounding happily behind the pair.
Needless to say, Naomi wasn't your normal little girl.
And neither was the thing that watched her from the bushes.
