NS Time

Hi, I was wondering, in the forums, people mention such things as "1 NS month". What exactly is 1 NS month? How long does it last? And furthermore, what is a NS year, day, week?

I've heard that one day is generally equal to one month in the game.

This is really an RP question, since time isn't relevant to the game. You should ask in NS if you want to know the average/usual agreed upon time conversions.

It really depends on the region. The running gag amongst our region (The Lake Erie Tropical Islands) and the neighboring region (Lake Ontario Tropical Islands) is that they RP 1 real day=1 NS year, whereas we go 1 real day= 1 NS day. Theirs is more realistic for population, military production, economy, etc. Ours is more condusive for character development and the events that happen. It's merely a matter of agreement amongst whomever's RPing...

It depends on the RP you are in. If you are in a character RP, it depends on the people in the RP. If it is a war RP it varies from one RL day equalling one NS day to one NS month...

There are many schools of thought on this....

Basically the most widley agreed upon is the concept of "Fluid Time".

I used to go by 1 RL day equals I NS year. But it really doesnt work for RP's so Fluid Time is what I go by.
