Is anyone interested in RP focused on character-driven interactions around scenarios involving diplomatic/trade/intel/economic themes? Machiavellian scheming to influence outcomes that DON'T involve conquest or weapon-techie-bangbang scorekeeping?
Real nations try to avoid war, which is the most costly (and potentially career-trashing for political leaders) way to achieve a goal. Much better if you can form a trade alliance to shut a rival out of an important product market, or get the goods on a rival leaders' misconduct to blackmail them or just trash their career, or manipulate currencies to keep a too-rapidly developing neighbor from becoming a potential rival, or...
