WMNK reunion.
As I remember now the past glory days of the WMNK, I look back at all the former members and wonder what they're up to. I'm sure that others wonder too. So, I sent invitations to all the members listed on the cencus that The SLAGLands did. So if you joined after that.....
This is not a rebuilding. That was tried at one point, and went nowhere. It did result in the NS University, I believe. So, members, welcome! Feel free to reminisce and what-not. And be sure to say what you're up to right now.
Oh yeah, and if we could get that beat each other thread that Celack did from the original forums.... I forget what started it.

Wow, I dont see where Skager wrote about hating n00bs... or about old nations. I consider myself quite young and handsome quite frankly. I take offense to being called old. And no, I won't get over that.

It seems that you're upset. Is it because you were never got the chance to join a group as reknowned as the WMNK? We were huge. And we need to be remembered.
Everyone else- Yeah, bring along the old stuff. I remember that Gringo thing, we had a Trogdor somewhere, all the good old Ignore tech. There was lots of that around.

The WMNK was actually useful in its early days before the mods... after the mods, the purpose for a vigilante group like that kinda dwindled to... ah.... zilch :lol:

Strange. I was a member of the WMNK since I first found out about it, way back when in early-mid April... and I didn't get invited.
I would feel offended, but I realize that I never saw the census thread you speak of so that is probably why I was not listed.
Oh well.
Anyway... things have been going well, went to space, developed FTL, left the solar system, realized it was a pain, came back, got rid of my FTL and uberfleets(though I still have fifty warships spread out over the sol system), joined the APTO and right now trying to end a civil war.
All in all, pretty damn good.
Now for the part where we remember the n00bs we crushed for trying to declare war on the world and what not. Back when there were less than ten space fleets in orbot of earth. When terraforming of Mars was still just a dream. When terraforming Venus was laughable. When Magic China still existed. Though as nothing more than a crater with radioactive roaches with laser strapped to thier backs and a glass salesman.
When I developed a varient of the B-52 to carry Daisy Cutters and used them to utterly destroy the palaces of three n00bs with little more than P-51s to stand against them. Two of which actually let their leader die, to thier credit.
Ah... now back to the mundane hell that NS has become.
