The Territory is of course completely neutral in the matter of its allies' internal affairs.

Investigating candidates and their cronies for scandal is merely prudent. And if a Lavenrunzian who's lost loved ones to von Mirbach's actions is very discreetly approached and her willingness to act felt out, it's just the actions of a rogue agent. The government might sympathize, but actively supporting internal conflict in an ally would be improper.

Even when one of the candidates in an election is traitorous scum.

ooc: L, i have to ask, what are the campaign finance laws in your nation? it's usually illegal to have foriegners or other countries donating money to a candidate, but your election seems awash in it.

In Knootoss, the elections were also watched with the eyes of a hawk. Usually the parties in the DDR left the domestic politics of allies for what they were, but this time, there was more at stake. When any donations were made it usually was done openly, but the nationalist sentiments so prevalent in Lavenrunz made the donators think twice. Via secret, untraceable accounts the funds were donated. From friends.

One donation, however, was public. Tiny Tim had used his nicest coloured pencils and had drawn a picture of the young Lavenrunzian Empress. Granted, her hands looked a bit like forks but it had captured Aurora's proud spirit. On the drawing were also flowers in bright red and yellow, Tim's house and the sun in the background.
