A Small Operation [Revolution!] Iansisle read.
Deep in the jungles of Waughslind Darker, a small troop stands at attention. "Tonight at 0100 hours, men, you will be dropped directly into this country's capital and will storm the monarch's throne! Your target: David's head! The man who brings me his head will receive ten thousand pounds!"
---
In the capital building, Order Department Chief Manuel Okinawa consults with a group of the King's advisors. "We have reason to beleive that a subversive group, possibly supported by an outside country, is planning to kill King David. And the question is... What should we do to protect our monarch?"
ooc: I need people to play the subversives and the country supporting them. Eh? Eh? People in my diplomat training thread not eligible, though you could support the king.
I was gonna say you could always contact The Corporation, who specialize in finding stuff like this out...
ooc: Since in all the other rp of this type I always seem to be the one helping the current government, I think that in this Rp i will try to help over throw the current government.

"Good, good..." The leader of the group, Benjamin Waugh, smiles thinly. "Soon, my friends, we will retake our home!"
Intel was always easy to come by when the right names were dropped, and Sam Byrnes, head of The Corporation, always had the right names. The brief came across his desk and he looked it over, higlighting important parts, and disregarding anythign of unimportance. He pressed a button, getting his daughter/associate, and called a meeting.
The meeting went smoothly with the several memebers of the executive level of The Corporation. The ideas went around the table, and one was settled on that would work well.
Three days later, one of the many field agents landed in Waughslind, dressed casually, an Aloha shirt and kahkis. He wore the standard black aviator sunglasses, and carried a brown leather duffle bag. He found a cab, hopped in, and asked for a local hotel.
ooc: Note: I want the subversives to win. It's a 'return to the homeland' thing.
ooc: Note: I want the subversives to win. It's a 'return to the homeland' thing.
ooc: sure I understand
OOC: So a corporation designed to take out bad guys and the like that has unlimited funding and global (and spacial) contacts, the best technology money can buy, and the like wouldn't be appriciated?

OOC: Hope I'm welcome.
Peter Ternal sat on a log, weaving pieces of underbrush into his ghilly suit, his M24 resting by his side. "We goin' in boss?" the sniper asked, a slippery grin across his normally featureless face. "I wanna reach out and touch someone." he stroked the 10x Leupold scope.
OOC: So a corporation designed to take out bad guys and the like that has unlimited funding and global (and spacial) contacts, the best technology money can buy, and the like wouldn't be appriciated?
ooc: but it's ok if I help the bad guys right
OOC: All I'm saying is that I could have the team offed right now if DMan wanted it.

OOC: All I'm saying is that I could have the team offed right now if DMan wanted it.
OOC: Pretty grand claim there.
OOC: Well, I could launch a single orty strike...use a microwave beam satalite...Arc Light strike on target after locating operatives through IR satalite...the options are endless...

OOC: Yes, that would do it, but really, in a character RP? I hate orty, except in extreme circumstances, and this is hardly "extreme".
OOC: Yeah, but I could do it, and what I determine as extreme is different then your definition. Now, the decision falls on DMan: Yes or no to The Corporation?
ooc: Tappee: The subversives are the good guys.

"Move in! On the double!" Benjamin Waugh sweeps his arm. "Brothers, we will retake our home!"
ooc2: Yes, but no bombings. We want to know, but not for them to die.

Ternal nodded. "I'll go high, sir." He saluted Waugh as he moved out, slipping into the underbrush with barely a whisper of noise. He found a decent hill and lay down, scanning the gate with IR Binoculars. "Two at gate." he whispered into his collar mic.
"Good man, that Ternal..." Waugh looks on as his troops move in unseen.
The man grabbed his cell phone from his desk, and dialed the number back to the center. "Hey boss man? Yeah. These are the best I can give you." HE read of a string of numbers.
Within minutes, Sam Byrnes was on the phone to Order Department Chief Manuel Okinawa, waiting to get through. He always hated political phone lines.
"Byrne, you have the information? The Return to Power Movement? Good, good. Thank you."

"Sir, I've got the one closer to the alarms in my scope. Just give the word."
"Fire at will, my friend. Remove them both."
"Yes, we have satalite readouts, images, several sources, lotsa heat. Not to far from home. Should you give the words, we could take them out." He began typing up a quick order to one of the operation departments should he get the command.
"No. I almost think... hmm... We will deal with them ourselves, Mr. Byrne. Thank you for the information. May Imitora and Waughslind forever be at peace."

The M24 cracked, a slight flash against the night sky, and the first guard was thrown back in a spray of blood and bone that disintigrated his torso. Ternal tracked the scope across, levelling on the other soldier, who turned to run for the alarm. Predictable. The gun cracked again, and the second man crashed into the guard house door, then slid down, the door red with blood.
"Two down, gate clear. I'm moving up."
"Roger that, you got the number should you need The Corporation. GO ahead and call us up." He hung up the phone, then dialed another, getting the new in country operative.
"Keep an eye on the situation. Take moves if nessacery."
"Thank you, soldier. May the sage's grace go with you." Waugh dials a number. "Manuel, my brother, we will soon return to our homes."

OOC: Player must sleep. Go ahead and use Ternal as you need, consider him advancing with you. I shall return.
Okinawa narrows his eyes. "Finally..." he mutters.
Three men take the stairs in the castle where the king normally resides. They are killed in a burst of gunfire.
"Earlier today, an attempt was made on our King's life. The subversives were killed. Thank you."
Okinawa paces. "Dammit. The King's special order corps..." He picks up a phone and dials Waugh. "I just heard the news. You will position a sniper on the hill above the tower next time. You will not fail me again."
The young sniper positions himself. "Ready and on guard." The small deployment of troops creeps down the hill and flattens against the wall as the sniper takes out the gate guards.
"Move in!" Waugh signals the troops to enter the castle. Bullets whiz overhead, and the guards in the towers are shot down.
"There are guards in the king's tower." The troops spread out in the school fortress. They are in the castle of the Waughslind Diplomatic Academy.
A guard fires a pistol shot from the king's tower, and an answering bullet from the sniper on the hill drops him. The troops storm the tower.
"This is it," mutters Waugh, outside the King's chamber. "The moment of truth..."
Waugh breaks down the door, and the squadropn bursts in. "David Windsor, your reign has ended. Your sentence - death."
Windsor is killed with a single slug.
OOC: Can teh students get invovleved, well, make an appearance?
ooc: In only a moment.
ic: The next morning, Waugh makes his appearance at the breakfast table at the school, taking the place of Windsor.

Manuel Okinawa: "Good day, Waughslind. This is to announce that the royal system is dead. I will be taking over the position of Premier."
