Consul Supreme McCallister appeared in a live, televised conference at the Eastern Gardens of his Manor earlier today, announcing that the assembly of Eredron's lunar colony in orbit had been completed, and the moon base successfully grounded on the lunar surface. Millions watched over television and the internet as the moon colony, capable of supporting eight astronauts at the moment, was grabbed by the moon's gravity and guided by dozens of maneuvering thrusters to it's permanent location at a sizable crater, dubbed Victory Lake. After a two-day period during which the base will be monitored for any technical malfunction, Eredron's twentieth space flight will launch, bringing supplies to the colony; the first inhabitants are expected to arrive in two weeks.
