The Kholintian leader makes this statement in a recent press converance:
"After seing that the 'internet popup' resolution made it to being voted on, many changes have taken place in Kholint. If this was 4 months ago, that resolution would have passed. Still, it made it to the voting stage and I hereby declare my whole-heartly correct (in my opinion) desertion of the U.N. Now I can choose my own issues, instead of being flooded with pro-democratic proposals floating around, restricting MY GOVERNMENTS FREE SPEECH. I hear many nations of the Nationstates world are American. If Free speech is so important to them, why do they smother it so?
I do not beleive in the U.N. and see no advantages to it's participation at all. Being in the U.N. used to be a sign of Power. Now, it is only a loose mass of self-righteous idiots. Good riddance to the U.N., I say, and welcome, to my choice in governing my nation."
Many passing pedestrians were shocked by Leader Link's statement: "flooded with pro-democratic proposals" but feared display these worrying thoughts of a dictatorship Kholint, so as to avoid the 'Room 101' treatment again, for Crime 3024 - Anti-Government Thoughts.
