Population problems spur Air and Space developments in Cav

As The Holy Empire of Cav reaches a population of 2 billion citizens, we have decided to move a good amount of our population out of our nation on the planet Earth. The people of Cav need to be given a good reason to move, so we have developed the following vehicles for transport and permanent housing:

Resident Space Stations:

Unlike our Space Defense Station and Mobile Defense Station, these Resident Space Stations will be located within the solar system (mostly no further away than the Moon). They are full sustainable, with life support systems, meat, grain, and vegetable production facilities, and numerous places for supply ships to dock, if necessary.

This station serves the purpose to provide a getaway for regular citizens of Cav and those from other nations who wish to vacation in our station. Our only request is that foreign nations do not bring weapons aboard our station.

The Resident Space Stations will hold roughly 10,000 people, and 20 of them are planned for Earth and lunar orbit. They will be readily accessible by our other defense forces, but will hold a brigade of Special Tactical Assault Division of The Imperial Space Agency, just in case.

The outer defenses of the Resident Space Stations are light, but some high powered laser emitters and rail guns are present.

Our Moon Colony:

Currently, Cav's moon colony houses about 500,000 comfortably. Due to the population constraint on Earth, we will add another million places to live on the Moon. We have plenty of power and space on the moon, and this hasn't been a problem until we realized that our population was growing to a point where we wouldn't be able to sustain the quality of life in our nation without relocating some people.

The moon colony will be developed, and we will have to build underground as well as building up.

New Transports/Defenders

Our main transport will be a small, 2 to 10 person shuttle which will aid in moving delegates and officials all over the globe, as well as into space.

Our Bowe Class Transport

These shuttles will be used mostly as light transports, such as when our General of The Army or CINC of the Imperial Space Agency need to get somewhere fast. They are capable of Earth landings, as well as being able to move about the inner solar system with ease and speed. This makes them the most versatile of our small transports.

Our other transport is designed for mostly space use, but it is capable of making a landing on a planet's surface (like Earth or at our Moon colony).

Our Infamous Class Ship

These ships are used for all purposes (transport, defense, presence, etc.). They are easily maintained, maneuverable, and have one of the most sophisticated weapons systems around. They are well shielded using the latest metal alloys developed, as well as field placement technologies.

Their weapons are made up of MKII Rail Guns, plasma torpedoes, and a few high powered laser emitters.

They house about 750 crewmembers and personnel. The Infamous Class is also designed to hold 6 Bowe Class transports. Fifty of them are in development stages now. It is planned that one will patrol around each Resident Space Station, about 10 around Earth, 5 around the Moon, and the other 15 will be used for exploration.

Gallop Class Scout

In addition to the Bowe Class transports, the Gallop Class scouts will keep an eye on the situations that require Cav's attention, without having to commit a large force to the area. The scouts will keep track of things within The Empire's reaches, from Earth to the Moon to all of the Space Stations. One hundred of these 7-crew manned ships are planned for now, with more to come if needed.

The ships are armed very lightly, with only two laser emitters and one rail gun. They are atmosphere-capable as well. They are for scouting purposes only.

These developments in The Holy Empire of Cav will take at least 15 years to complete, but our population problems should be solved in the short run.

Nice, perhaps we could work on a sky elevator together.

Nice, perhaps we could work on a sky elevator together.

That idea sounds very good. We could build a few complexes and make them stops for the regional bullet train.
