Riots have been reported in the streets of Aerion's capital, Astevane, and throughout Aerion. They demand that the Royal Heir be found, and crowned King of Aerion. The King, and nobility had been abolished by the Divine Emperor. All nobles had been exiled or killed. When the Divine Emperor had disappeared, the Prelacy succeeded him. The New Aerion Order, founded by the Divine Emperor, now dominates Aerion with the Prelacy being the highest governmental body of this "party" and the government. They appoint the Chief Minister, and Council of Ministers which handles the day to day running of government.
These riots have been sparked by a fervent resurgent nationalism, and widespread rumors that there are surviving heirs to the Throne within Aerion. Count Aero Laur, Speaker of the Exiled Aerion Nobles has been demanding the same thing. As well as for the nobility to be reinstated. It seems the people, feeling that there is a lack of national identity, have bought into the myth of the King. The Royal Family had been a strong national symbol in the past, even if they did not hold any actual power, and it seems the people want that symbol again. The Prelacy has not yet commented if they want to give it to them or not. They suppress the riots, though not too violently, as the new government is attempting to manage Aerion in the power void left by the Divine Emperor.
