Calvinball League
To all the Calvin and Hobbes fans out there: express your interest in a Calvinball league in this thread. I am not on NS enough to create a league, but someone creative and awesome should, eh? I would love to see this happen. Anyone else think that Calvinball is a grand idea?

Haha.. how in the living hell would that be officiated? I dread to think. I'm not sure it suits Walmingtonian sensibilities, but we'll certainly watch if nothing else..

I too should love to join, but also wonder how on earth the scoring system would work. Is 'Q' worth more than 'Oogy'?
I'd love to play too, but designing a discernable scoring system is nigh impossible. If someone would take it upon themselves to do such a thing, I'm sure we'd all be eternally grateful. I think that Q is worth more than oogy, though.

Heh thanks, I was rather afraid of the damage I might do to myself while upside down and operating a kettle..
the point of calvinball is that it's a self-regulated game based on the sensibilities of the one and only Calvin. if memory serves, the game picks up where it left off last time, so there can't really be a league. Mayhaps instead a collection of international calvinball superstars?

Calvinball is the national game of SeOCC and we would love to have our teams participate in an international game.
And to those attempting to score the game, you have quite definately missed the point.
