hello, I was wondering if their were any restrictions on space nations like population, or tech (doing slightly less advance than the standard around here) and stuff like that?

any help?

Hard to say, probably best solved by disregarding the gmae generated population and playing it by ear.

Infinite Loop does have in Geosyncronous orbit above our Capitol city, a Space Station, Adam Station, our Base Star.

and we maintain three Battlestars, Pacifica, Bismark, and Titan.
our Human pilots use a one seated fighter, and our Cylon class combat androids use the three pilot long range raider bombers.

Just make sure you`re sort of balanced, remember that Star Destroyers are build by an empire with hundreds of billions as population, not will 100mio, and thats it.

Oh, adn don´t pick on modern tech nations. They like their tech, one really shouldn`t abuse the preferred higher techlevel one has...

Oh, there WILL be players telling you that one cannot be in space with <enter random population/ economy rating here>. Ignore them. It´s your choice (But one should generally use the ratings (economy/ population) as a guideline on who is stronger/ can do what, despite different tech levels... would be sort of unfair if not).

Space nationalism is great. I like it.
