Join the Council of Socialist Economic and Military Security

The Council of Socialist Economic and Military Security (CSEMS) is an alliance dedicated to Socialist (and Communist) nations that wish to advance themselves in the world.

Our member base is full of large, economically and militarily powerful nations. Many of our founding members are over 1 billion strong, and all have excellent economies. However, we accept nations of all sizes and all degrees of economies and try to help them down the path towards Socialism (this is extremely helpful for smaller nations).

Our alliance headquarters is located in the region Socialist Paradise but our membership spans the globe. We hold alliances with other regions and those nations that follow our ways.

If you have any further questions about the CSEMS, feel free to reply in this thread, or telegram our Founder, Carfy, or UN Delegate, Soviet Haaregrad.

sure, not really socialist, but my core ideals are, but my nation didnt quite turn out the way i wanted it to anyway.

exactly what are your principles in helping nations? is it through a trade program endorsing that nation's products, and vice versa? or is it pure monetary support?

We are not truly Socialist in our beliefs (we are a very religious society with an Emperor), but the nation is based on the will of the people and the people's ability to be free in all of their choices.

As for the trade program, we do tend to purchase things from other nations in our alliance before buying things elsewhere, but most aid is given in the form of cash or human capital.

If my Nation were to join this alliance, what would be in it for us?

We invite all nations interested in this alliance to also send delegations to the Celdonian Diplomatic Quarter (invisionfree.com/forums/cace), where the Coalition of Anti Capitalist Economies and the International Fair Trade Agreement are based. Both these organizations are ideologically aligned with the CSEMS, and are always open to new members or even those interested in dialogue.

While Western Asia is not interested in joining this group, we would like to maintain good ties with it and its members.

You would have the protection of other CSEMS countries, both in military and economic aid.

For smaller nations in this world, it can be a scary place with much larger nations looking to install a government more friendly towards theirs in your nation. The CSEMS looks out for its small allies and makes sure that any governmental changes come from within the country, legally (ie, if a fascist dictator within your country took power and started oppressing the people, the CSEMS would intervene if asked).

We have huge amounts of aid ready for small nations too, in the event that the country hasn't taken the final step towards true Socialism. We give the money to those who want to spread the word about Socialism, or to those whose economies are not performing well enough to keep up with the people's needs.

We invite all nations interested in this alliance to also send delegations to the Celdonian Diplomatic Quarter, where the Coalition of Anti Capitalist Economies and the International Fair Trade Agreement are based. Both these organizations are ideologically aligned with the CSEMS, and are always open to new members or even those interested in dialogue.

Seocc, perhaps we could ally our alliances. Telegram me if you like this idea.

While Western Asia is not interested in joining this group, we would like to maintain good ties with it and its members.

Thank you, Western Asia. If you need anything at all from us, please let us know.

I find it funny that nations still work with the model of Socialism and Communism when one looks at the history of the USSR or Communist China and one can see that Marxism and Leninism just doesn't work.

Well considering the fact that they weren't communist...
11-01-2004, 00:02
Then why join a Communist organization if you are not Communist?

Well, in this world, there are plenty of succesful communist/socialist nations.

European countries (especially scandanavian countries) and Canada have some socialist tendencies (like medicare) and are quite succesful. I, both personally and as a representative of The Most Serene Republic of Xenieze, do not believe in completley socialist or communist systems of government, but Xenieze believes in a redistribution of wealth from the rich to the poor. However we do NOT believe in a complete redistribution, or else, no one would be motivated to be rich.

Yes, we look at those and see their faults. However, this is in no way the real world, and since Marxism works out "on paper," which is what this game really is, then our governments seem to do fine for themselves.
