As mentioned prior, the Nation of Phyrric will be constructing two (2) new stations in its colonial program. The two stations will be called Corcyra 1 and Corcyra II.

The construction for Corcyra I will begin immediately over the Mars colony for Phyrric. Upon completion, the second station, Corcyra II, will be in orbit over the Moon colony.
The Station design, released today will be in the shape of a 3D asterik (*) made entirely of large pod attachments with a length from end to end of 1475 yards. This will be approximately one half the size of the Epirus class Battle Station, but with a complete and new design. Each attached pod is interchangeable to fit the needs of the colony and varies in width from 100 yards to 125 yards for each 'arm'. The center core will be a permanent stabilizer and house the main reactor.
Weapon systems will be on each 'arm' that is located on the X, Y, and Z axis for a total of 6 mounts. The weapon system is similar to the primary weapons system found on the Epirus class Battle Station but a smaller 'caliber' of the plasma bolt with a range of 5,000 miles compared to the range of Epirus at 15,000. This weapon is capable of orbit to surface bombardment, the atmosphere will weaken the weapons damage capability.
The Station will be able to house 10,000 personnel on a full time basis and another 12,000 troops in emergency military needs. There will not be internal docking capabilities; however, units are able to dock to each 'arm' as needed for services and/or repairs for a total of 12 docked vessels. If a unit is docked to a weapons pod, that weapon will not be able to fire. Optimal docking is 6 units.
Larger repair orders must be performed at an Epirus class Battle Station as for internal docking capabilities. The Corcyra class Station cannot perform shipyard construction. The command structure and scanner capabilites does enable this class of Station to handle all SDI functions and commands. The command module (bridge) is always the first pod on the Y axis.
