I've noticed over the past few months a steady decline in my participation here on NS. My "bad guy" turn wasn't taken well by some, and that's reflected by the recent participation in my RPs. Little to no interest has been shown in my work, and I finally got so sick of it that I said "screw it" and finished it myself, and that took many long hours of writing. I'm working full time during the days, so my nights are usually free, and most of my spare time has been devoted to my storylines. It's kinda sad though to know that the interest level in me, my characters, and my stories is decreasing.

Now, I know regardless of what I say, some of you will think I'm doing this as a cry for attention. To you, I say piss off. Now, time for the point of this thread.

Seeing as things are basically going nowhere for me in my current storyline, I'm going to change it up abit. I've got a few scenario's in mind, but it's definatly not what you might expect. In case some of you (more like most of you) don't know, Damien has been raised (for the 1ST TIME :roll: ) and has reclaimed AMF.

Now, here's where things are going to get tricky.

I've decided that it's time for something very unexpected...something that I probably wouldn't do under normal circumstances. No, it's not another uprising or civil war, but something else.

I'll see if this will build any interest, but as the current trend is going, I doubt it. Oh well, it's better to burn out than fade away I guess, so this might be my last crack for awhile.

It's rather discouraging to work hard on something and come back almost a day later and see only 3 or 4 hits on the counter.

Definitly. I wanted to join an RP of yours, but it was already too far along. I think you're good, and what you do put down, (from what I've seen) is great. I say, keep up the good work. It's hard finding decent writers to RP with here.

But the thing is though, I'm kinda restricted in my capacities the way I'm laid out ICly, hence why anything major would probably be very limited or closed.

In the meantime, maybe I could think of something that would suffice until I can unleash my big plan.

Well, you HAVE limited yourself in participants in your RPs. This is your prerogative to do, but the consequences of this are decreased participation. The ignoring of future-tech nations is what I refer to here. It limits who will post in your threads.

No, I honestly (without sounding like a whiny bitch) think it's me. My regrouping of GDODAD made ALOT of people unhappy with me, and I think that some of those people I once interacted with washed their hands of me ICly and OOCly because of it.

I read it, and I think I qualify as Space-Tech, although I don't use space-ships in battle. Unless it's a space-battle (natch). But how about this? If I see a good spot to interject in, i'll try it. If you decide to shun it, then there you have it. Good?

Get GDODAD to attack someone...solves problems and, if it's against the right group, you'll get good RP.

That's cool, but I'm the kind of player that (unless the RP is closed) will allow almost anyone to participate.

It also dosen't help that some of my best NS buddies (Neo-Wu, Aequatio, Pantera, etc.) are either gone from NS completely or limited to practically logging in only. We used to RP like crazy, and now that they're not here as oftern (or at all), I think maybe I need to find some new people to get involved with.

ALOT of GDODAD members are wrapped up in their personal RL business, and hence GDODAD is kinda in pause mode right now. It would be a nice twist to have Damien leave GDODAD, but it would be too predictable for my tastes.

Not that you would (probably), but I will ignore any assassination attempts on Dreadfire. His existance is crucial to my coming plots.

But you know how wrapped up people can get with NS. Sometimes IC actions can create harsh feelings OOC wise. Me and Steel Butterfly comes to mind....

It was nothing personal, I enjoyed/enjoy many of your threads (read just about every one of them, one of the few quality RP around here), but that evil turn...that was a difficult one to understand. Come to think of it, need to catch up on that Melkor thing my two enemies in conference, I need a spy....any volunteers to be my bitch...I mean snitch?
