Zemnaya Svoboda is a new nation that has arisen after large-scale anarchy in wars between totalitarian factions in the russian-speaking part of the globe, also in the region of Eurasia.

Zemnaya Svoboda literally means "Freedom on Earth" in Russian, and that is what this nation is devoted to, "Freedom of Thought, Property, and Activity" (the translation of its motto.)

Currently this is a small, environmentally obsessed nation which has, unfortunately for its economy, banned cars.

In the meantime though, USZS (United States of Zemnaya Svoboda) has a burgeoning University system, with some individual outstanding proffessors. Recently they have largely become engaged in some sort of widespread activity, though when asked what it is, they respond shiftily with, "Quantum Engineering".

More recently in USZS, the various political involvements in Eurasia have led to many questioning the government's positions. As Zemnaya Svoboda has attempted to become a leading member of Eurasia, its citizens have learned more of the outfit.

They like some, but not all of what they see. They welcome their brethren in the Fiefdom of Khodorkovsky and even the Kingdom of Kiril the Great. However, they largely dislike the totalitarian rulership of Finlyandia.

USZS has begun to develop a economic and military infrastructure. The military part being less intensive. Even as they enter into closer relations with the Principality of Finlyandia, they hope that the place might be liberated.

The Finlyandish Embassy has arrived, with much pomp and circumstance. They arrived waving flags and playing marching music.
