This was version 6.

If your nation wishes to wire money to Enerica to help this development please do. We wish to raise 5,000,000 extra USD in order to improve the GDP calulator. Please support our nation, however we are mainly looking for ideas.

Please wire all money to the Nation of Enerica, as of yet no specific account has been set up.

Drop the annual earnings by at least 10 (an average salary of over 400,000 is horribly absurd, even in a frightening+ economy).
Also, tie the % in military to the population. Make it flexible, to a decimel and link it to the pop figure. Lets say .1-3% for those 10 mil. or under, .1-2% for those 11-25 mil, and .1-1.5% for all others.

The salary is an average, i.e. some people will have salaries of millions some of millions less.

I plan to have a flexible percentage soon.

Thanks for your input.

Sorry, but those are still grossly absurd numbers by an order of magnitude. Do some research.

Yes but an amount of the top economic standings are intended to be higher than that of America.

I have read the stickies. No one i know of suggests a per capita GDP of 400,000 USD. Can you please post who you refere to. I'd be very curious to see.

this doesn't make any sense... this says that my average income per PERSON is 480,000.... now that would mean that an average working man would get SEVEN-FIGURE income... that does not sound right AT ALL.

I object to your calculations, and I think you should turn the figures you make for "per month" into "per year." If you're going by that stupid economy listing, I have no clue what the eff they were thinking when they wrote that, cuz its supposed to be per YEAR income.

hehe... imagine... minimum wage gets ya the income of an MD :)

Still absurd. You have A frightening economy making a per capita GDP 10 times the highest in the RL world. And an Imnploded with a per capita GDP of at least 12,000. Innaccurate and highly unrealsistic. It is BS like thbis thatgg drives away serious players....

IT'S A GAME! + a very powerful economy i.e. frightening is supposed to be greater than that of America, Japan, UK, Germany etc.

And 36,000 a year is not a frightening income..... my father earns roughly 50,000 to 60,000 a year and Australia is by no means higher than a good economy.

Nationstates is exaggerated, if we wanted to play real life we'd be out in the real world doing stuff. A frightening economy is just that frighteningly huge. So what if America has less do you see America or the UK or germany or who ever with 2 billion+ citizens? No quit selecting what 'realism' you want to have and what you dont.

How ever 480k is rather absurd for an average, I think for a frightening an avg of atleast 50,000 would be acceptable. The others I dunno really how much of a difference there really would be..... But to throw out a calculator that is more willing to use a figure much better than 36k a year in a frightening economy where the economy is the best there is. Especially in a nation with an unrealistic number of people. To demand realism on unrealistic figures is quite absurd.

Mayby I should add something that allows people to select either realistic or nationstatesian.

50k per year as a per cvapita GDP would be fine. But anything over 100k is just godmodding and ignore-bait. FWIW and IMHO.

As far as I am concerned, if anyone getting their figures from this calulator trys to buy something they shouldn't be able to afford, they will be ignored.

I don't mind taking things a little further then they are meant to go, but $400'000 a year average? That kind of economy isn't going to happen in any world I'm willing to RP in.

It's these kind of economic that make nations beleive they can buy 100 carriers and a entire space fleet of death stars with their frightening economy...

Look for everyones information, I got the figures from the forum, from a link on a sticky, if you want to complain about the figures don't take it out on me. If you want to help send me a t-gram, I am much more likely to listen to suggestions that way.

I don't know enough about real world economics, so I can't comment, but I'm curious. What's +frightening economy?

You know what, I don't know either and I made the calculator, it is just an additional one I added.

So what you are saying is, if we have a frightening economy... everyone drives ferraris, lives in mansions, has their own personal private jets, a summer house, and a plasma screen TV in every room.

That doesn't seem right at all... even for exaggeration
