You're Having a Good Time Whether You Like it or Not!(CO-RP)

Genesis pulled Rave out of the car as they arrived at a club. Rave didn't look to pleased, and was dragged along by Gene. "Why do we have to do this?" She complained. "I don't need to have fun...I have fun at the academy...."

"How?" she asked. "Sparring and fighting. Cold, dark, and brooding as usual...seriously. You should lighten up."

Rave raised her eyebrow. "Gene I---"

"You're having a good time whether you like it or not!" she declared as they entered the club. Loud music echoed around them. Lights flashed, and it was too dark for her identity to be revealed.

"Why do you have to drag me along here...I'm fine..."

"This will take your mind off of things...."

"I must get back to the Academy I---"

"Don't need to be back there until tommorow night, and I don't have to be there until the afternoon...come on..."

"Alright...Alright..."

A woman sat at a table, looking on at the band playing, uninterested in the scene. Her auburn hair fell in soft waves to slightly past her shoulders. She twirled a strand nonchalantly, not realizing she was doing it. Her crimson eyes scanned the crowd until a hand rested upon her shoulder.

"Come on!" Genesis said. "Rave, I've never seen you so depressed. God, a few months ago you would have been dancing right now..." Gene sat down across from her, smoothing her straight blond hair behind her ear.

"That was a few months ago...Gene why did you drag me here?"

Gene looked at her and sighed. "You're impossible..."

Rave mumbled something inaudibly...and rested her head in her hands.

OOC: mind if I join in, last time my main character had the chance to thank Rave, RL (That strange consept) intervened

IC: As the pair walked in, a lone figure looked on from the shadows. He saw them, his elven eyes focusing on them, the magic feels familiar, yet, old, powerful, something from my past maybe? As his eyes focused on them, Ravellyn could feel a powerful presence, dark, cold, in a way evil, in a way good, observing them, yet she could not pin-point from where it came.

The figure, stepped forward out of the shadows, and sat down at a table, his katana resting across his lap. [i]I wonder who those two are?[i] In the mean time, he ordered some chips, and continued to wait, for something, that even he did not know.

Rave leaned her elbows on the table and rested her head in her hands, and was inevitably poked by Genesis repeatadly. She looked up toward the band, whom was finishing, and an idea came to mind.

"I heard you could sing," Gene said to her. "From Seth. He said he heard you back during the tournament."

"Yes," she said softly. "He did hear me...so?"

"I want you to sing."

O_o

"Oh come on, you're not going to dance, your going to stay there and do nothing for the entire time."

"What's wrong with that?"

"You never used to be like this..." She said, pulling her up again. "Please. One song, and if you want to continue, then fine, if you want to stop and leave than this will be the end of it."

"Fine."

Azerzdat litterally pushed him inside the club.

"I should be at the Academy," Yakori protested. "What if something was to happen to Mr.Witz?
- Oh, come on!" Azerzdat replied. "Chances are as good as seeing pigs fly and you know it.
- I don't like this kind of places," Yakori replied with a grin. "They sell alcohol as a mean for happiness.
- You're right. But there are also things I'd pretty much like to break in here," Azerzdat said, giving a glance at a group of young females near the bar. "Yep! I feel like a thief tonight... a thief in need for some pleasant friction!"

Azerzdat pushed Yakori to the bar and stepped to a 20-year old woman with blue-tinted hair. She had kind of yellow eyes and they were wandering onto the ex-demon's body. One of her friend bent at her hear, saying something that couldn't be heard given how loud the music was playing. The blue haired woman nodded affirmatively with a little laughter, her face turning slightly red.

"Hey there," Azerzdat told her with a charming smile. "Care for a drink?
- Why not," she answered with a spark in the eyes.

He looked at her dress. Only her own skin could have been closer to her body. The dress stopped high on her legs and low on her breast. He turned at the barman and used a simple mind trick to have him looking in his direction.

"Whiskey," he yelled, then turning at the woman. "For you?
- Manzana," she answered. "Dry."

He looked again at her dress.

"How can you enter in this?
- How about we take this drink before?"

Yakori grinned. This promised to be boring as Hell.

Echo slowly walked in the club and looked around she felt something powerful here. She quickly walked in and went over to the bar and took a seat and began to quickly try and pin point the location of the mass power.
I doubt it would be Joshua because he said he would be busy in the academy for a while. Or....no it couldn't be that pain in the ass. I made sure he was traped before I left.

A japanese man sat next to Echo. He had quite a neutral expression, he looked in the direction of a group of people. A man there, quite good looking, was surrounded by a dozen women and apparently quite happy with this situation. His attention seemed to be more focussed onto one of the girls, with blue-tinted hair, and she was laughing at nearly every single word he said.
The japanese man turned back at the bar and ordered a sake with as much enthusiasm as if his mother had died the day before.

(ooc: dunno if Echo saw Azerzdat - the man with the women - or Yakori - the japanese man - at the Academy yet)

OOC:She will see him now....

IC:
Echo looked at the man that sat beside her and smiled then turned back to looking around. Her smile left her face when she saw the man with a large amount of women. "Now I know why he wanted me to keep out of the open," she says under her breath. She knew this wasn't one of the more friendly places but atleast she could enjoy something other than tracking a demon in a war torn city.

(ooc: how old is Echo? Because Azerzdat was a demon before. Well-known angel hunter. I smell something funny coming ;) )

Yakori's eyes went thiner as he looked at the woman smiling at him. He seemed to recollect souvenirs and finally gave a subtle smile back, looking again in direction of Azerzdat.

"He forced me," he said, as if he was somehow understanding Echo's discomfort in this place. "You're at the Academy, aren't you?"

OOC:About 19 years 6 months old (the cryo-sleep was very kind to her)
IC:
"Me?" Echo says in her inocent yet lovely way though alittle startled "No my brother is. Aperently his third year there." She brushed some of her light brown hair behind her one of her shoulders.

(ooc: so they didn't meet since Azerzdat was in another world the past centuries... still, she may have heard of his name)

"Your brother," Yakori repeated. "From what I can gather, I'd say you have your place in that school." Echo felt a little movement of the air around her, as if something invisible had touched her. "And your brother didn't come with you?"

Meanwhile, Azerzdat had got closer from the women with the blue hair, Samantha he had managed to learn. His hand was onto her shoulder and he was constantly bending, murmurring words at her ear. With each movement of his lips, Sam seemed more and more charmed.

Yakori grinned. This promised to be boring as Hell.
OOC: Since when is hell boring? I'd think that being repeatedly attacked by demons and shades would add some excitement to the place...

"Finally, a smile upon your face..." Gene commented as she saw the smile she was trying to hide. "Go ahead..." she said looking at the band.

Rave sighed, like some girl dared to do something she did not wish to do. But she did it willingly. She walked over to the band as they had just finished playing. She leaned on the side of the stage and bent forward. The guitarist immediately caught sight of her and hopped off to see her.

"Hello beautiful," he said to her. Rave cringed slightly...she had heard that before...

"I was wondering if I could possibly sing something..." She smiled lightly. "Would it be to much trouble..."

He smiled back. "Sure...my name is Zach," he said, and kissed her hand.

Rave cringed again. "My name....is...is Sage."

"Sage," he remarked. "What a beautiful name. Come on..." He offered his hand and helped her on to the stage, she ran her hand along the microphone and looked back at him as he explained to the others. She turned and spoke with them for a minute, dishing out chords and tempos from her memory.

"No problem love..." he said with a clearly british accent.

Echo just shook off the feeling. "You mean the one in the acdemy no he said he had somethings to do. My other brother is curently dealing with annoying demon and rebel attacks back home. Also I realy don't need a place there. I'm just a natural."

"Natural," Yakori said with a subtle change in his tone. "Yes, I know how it feels."

His expression darkened slightly. Wouldn't have Echo been just a few inches from him, she probably wouldn't have spotted this minimal expression. Yakori took a sip in his glass and remained silent for he was recollecting memories and it didn't feel good.

Rave looked back at them, and gained a nod of reassurance. She looked at Gene, her words completely becomeing defiance of her fledglings beliefs that she wouldn't do it. But she could never step down from a challenge. She waited until the second measure and began.

They say it's all seen in the relection
Seek out other means to get protection
It's a far thing from your perfection
But your headed in the right direction

Her voice nearly stopped the crowd, and with her identity hidden, or unknown to them, she let go.

Don't make mistake of my correction
In you I find my ressurection
Get so caught up in the convection
Just tell me there is no connection

Gene's face went blank. "She never told me...that she could do this...I..thought Seth was lying...

In you
I see
Everything I ever wanted to know
The road
Ahead
And that is the only route to go
The rush
The heat
Want to live and want to die
You know
and try
but everything could just pass us by

Genesis stirred her drink, speechless.

This can turn a deadly addiction
To set these bars so high yet hold no restriction
There is no cure for my affliction
Need no prophet to make no prediction
In their minds they have their depiction
No one will know the truth; a contradiction
They accuse, and make their conviction
But to us hold no juristiction

Zach looked at her and smiled. I don't know about her...she's hitting all the notes and adding her style...it's...like it's perfect. I wonder if....

They want
To see
The trial set before their eyes
To veiw
to judge
if the verdict guilty; no suprise
They can
not grasp
that we will hold and not break from inside
We know
and try
but everything could just pass us by

Her crimson eyes passed over the crowd, and a smile crossed her face. Her aurburn hair fell over her shoulder in a sweep as they were entranced...but by no form of magic.

All I see here is a mistrial
And I will not go into denial
Guilty as charged and for the survival (If love)
was feeding me then for the while
The sentence given in an empty file
executed with an empty vial
I drank their poison, am I reconciled?
Put now on the end of the mile

I need
Your voice
To speak for me,to set me free
The lock
The key
Lies in you and lives in me
Their words
The truth
Will always be hidden by their lie
I know
I tried
but everything has just passed us by

Gene dropped her glass. Holy shit.... she said.

Zach smiled, and looked at her. "So...I was thinking...if you're not doing anything else, you could maybe join up with our band some time. We do need a female. And your voice...incredible."

"Erm...I have a lot of stuff to do. I wish I could...but I'm sorry...."

He frowned, then regained a slight smile. "well if you ever change your mind..."

The figure in the back was speechless, She sings like an elf, but she is human? No, too much magic, she has to be Demon. In that case, a freelancer, or a servant of one of the Lords. At any rate, odd

Azerzdat had taken his eyes off Sam. He looked at the stage and his expression lightened for he recognized Rave the second he saw her.

Nice hindering trick, he remarked as his vision seemed somehow blurred.

The lyrics came and his expression darkened a little. He could easily make sense out of them, mentally joining words like pieces of a puzzle. He felt the sadness and calm anger within her tone and he thought about what she had been through. Azerzdat's life had been as different from a straight line as one can be, from his creation by Mephisto to his transformation: a self-made man. And he was strong and proud enough to joke about it as often as possible. But Rave's existence suddenly appeared to him as a series of dots, struggles after struggles, with nothing more to expect than frustration and suffering. Azerzdat doubted he could have survived half of what she had been through. Maybe physically, but he was sure his mental would have been broken by then.
He looked back at Sam. She was cute. Probably suitable for a night or two. No bond, no link. He had sensed that too in Rave's boyfriend, the enigmatic Mr.Vaughn, when he had plunged into his mind. But he had also sensed the crack within the man's will, something that lead him to his doom: his love for Ravelyn Shentavo. In the secret of his mind, Azerzdat promised himself he wouldn't fall in love. Ever.

No way... he said to himself, shrouded in the shadows. His silvery eyes passed to her, never moving, never shaking. It can't be... He smirked. Seems we both have a notion of not wanting to remain in our caskets... He continued to watch on...
__

Rave smiled, and parted from Zach momentarily. She bit her lip as she sat down next to Gene once again.

Genesis nudged her. "You never told me you could to that..."

"It never seemed important..." she said, twisting the straw in her glass. Her expression darkened, and she looked down. Want to live and want to die.... She repeated to herself softly....

"I shouldn't have pushed you to this...I'm sorry..."

"No Gene," she replied. "I'm glad you did..."

"So...you going to get your social life back on track..."

Rave paused for a moment. "I guess so...erm... sure..."

Genesis sighed. "You know that guy you were talking to, the one with the guitar...he seemed interested..."

"Wish I felt the same..."

"some part of you does."

"Nope."

"You're impossible."

OOC: If there's room for another, here it goes...

IC:

At a far back table sat a rather mysterious figure. A man of imposing stature, he stood at 6'2" and weighed in at 280lbs, seemingly a solid slab of muscle. The man was handsome, in a severe way, with icy blue eyes and brown hair in a longer than regulation military style. He was dressed simply; a collared shirt that fit a bit too well, and pair of baggy fatigue pants dyed a khaki color. He was not visibly armed, but a Glock sub-compact chambered for .45 ACP sat in a bootlace holster, on his right boot. The man's boot where standard military issue, and it seemed that he tried to conceal this by letting the baggy legs of his pants cover the upper portion of his footwear.

A bottle of Guiness stood in front of him, half empty. It appeared that he'd been in the nightclub for a while, saying nothing, and doing little more than drinking and watching. Somewhat of a legend in mercenary circles for his hand-to-hand skills, the man's name was Dekker Bray.
