200 bodies shifted about in a huge warehouse. The walls were wet with condensation from the steaming generator at the far end of the massive expanse. The scouts signaled he was coming. The sargeants called for silence.

Grimzag entered through the huge doors, resembling that from an aircraft hanger. Yet against his large frame, the doors looked almost normal in size. Informed that he was meeting some friends to unveil a top-secret new rifle to add to his bulging collection, he hurried inside and moved around the blanketed machinary, pipes and detritus.

Outside, a villager walks past the ageing building, on his way to work. He wanders his way across the sandy mud, plodding through his daily routine. But the slow crunching of his footsteps is soon drowned out by the deafening sound of marines machine guns and the screaming of men as they find out the hard way this is not a man you take easily.

Grimzag was very angry at being brought out into a village.

He was angry when he discovered there was no new weapon to see.

And he was furious when he discovered that 200 marines had been sent to attack him.

As soon as he heard the click of a bolt being drawn back to eject a round at him, Grimzag was on the move. He kicked off the table and drew his Desert Eagles, blasting round after round into the marines he saw around him. If he had more time, he would have stopped to revel the blood being splattered everywhere, but time was against him.

As was ammo.

He fired off two more rounds from each Eagle, before the slide stayed back. He was empty, and the marines were still there. He spied one marine trying to shove a fresh magazine into his rifle, and dived at him. He was a split second too slow, though, because the marine managed to fire off a round which cut through Grimzag's knee. But an instant later, he was crushed under Grimzag's weight. The last thing he felt was a heavy boot slamming down on his neck.

Grimzag's knee hung limp, dangling off the leg which even Grimzag realised was not a good thing. But he didn't have time to cry over a busted knee: he was already rolling away from a deadly hail of bullets, whilst firing his own little contribution back at the enemy.

The sargeants look on, wide-eyed. This man wasn't being taken down. The "director of ops" had wondered why there was such a large task force being sent to collect one man, and so had not equipped the men with the nesissary anti-tank equipment that would be required to take Grimzag Deathjaw. Alive.

Another group charged forward, firing madly in desperation, as each of their comrades were brought down.

Grimzag snapped another neck. The smoke grenades had been going off for so long that the marines were being affected by lack of vision too. Squad were tracking his movements through the haze with a motion tracker. There were 12 blue dots left and a blurry red dot. Half a minute later they were all gone. The red blip disapeared. Silence.

The holder of the motion tracker was "Peeps". A small man, scrawny, and resembling a weasel, he only made the force due to his expertese in tracking devices and scouting. On hearing a barrel of something fall near to his left, he jumped, yelped, fell, and his weapon fired. A rope attaching a girder to the roof snaped. A thump was heard. Grimzag fell unconcious with a puzzled look on his face.

The truck rumbled across rocky ground and the team of 6 were in the back. Between the seats was the body of Grimzag - injected with enough sedative to kill 10 men - snoring loudly. The sargeant, "chief", had told the squad they were taking the man to "thosel science freaks at base", for he had always though of them, in their little lab coats and disturbing stares, as things not to be trusted. Or talked to, if you could avoid it. After a long drive, the truck pulled into an open archway with steel doors and concrete walls. The front of the vehicle dipped down, as the squad decended into the dimly-lit, open corridor.

Grimzag wakes up, his head spinning. Around him the walls are white-washed, and the straps pinning him to the table on which he lay are cold and metalic. He breaks them easily and stands up. And falls down, clasping his head, as an electric shock shatters through his brain. A speaker squeels into action.
"Ah! You are awake! Excellent! Now, if you'd be so kind as to do everything i say, we'll see what we can do to release you."
Grimzag smashes the speaker attached to the wall, and collapses as he is hit by another blast inside his head.
"Ah. You people never learn..."

Grimzag lay on the ground and looked up at the white-washed ceiling.

"Just do exactly as I tell you, and I promise this whole thing will be over before the week is finished."

Grimzag wasn't one to talk with kidnappers, so he started trying to batter down the door.

The door was 6 inches of reinforced steel.
"The door is made of 6 inches of reinforced steel. You havent got a chance in hell of opening it."..."Holy shit!"..."Get some security teams down there!"
Grimzag burst through the door with righteous fury.
Teams of security poured down both ways in the corridor, but met each other at the shattered door. There was no sign of Grimzag.

Peeps stops running and calls for the squad to slow down. "Cookie" - a tall, broad black man with a large pulse machine gun - covers the front and "Hearts" - the pilot and support covers the back. Chief asks what the problem is and Peeps hands him the receiver to his radio. After a moment Chief hands it back and grins.
"Ok boys, command wants Grimzag alive. Deadly force has been granted. If anyone tries to take him down, we get to shoot them."
Just then, a science looking man pelts round the corner, and squints at the squad. "Your not supposed to be here! Get out or ... ill call the guards!"
BLAM
The body slumps to the ground like a bag of potatos, and the seargant holsters his smoking revolver. The five look at him in surprise.
"What?"

Grimzag was amazed at how well his plan worked. While the guards were searching around outside the cell, he was on the roof above the cell door. Waiting for some prey.

And it came, in the form an overconfident Private who whistled at the door. He looked up to see Grimzag falling down at him.

Grimzag knew he had to be quick, fast and brutal, so he wrapped his hands around the guard's mouth and smashed his head repeatedly against the door. Finally, he snapped his neck like a twig before throwing the corpse away carelessly, in the same way a child might a broken toy.

Grimzag bent over and grabbed the Private's rifle and looked outside the cell. One team of security boys had stayed behind to check in case he came back to the cell, the other team was searching the nearby area. Perfect.

Grimzag dived out the cell and opened fire with his newly-acquired rifle, shredding a few of Marines. When he landed, he felt something metallic against his thigh, and looked down to see a large piece of broken steel. He grabbed it and launched himself towards the closest Marine, who was firing wildly in a blind panic. Grimzag cracked him once across the face, put an arm across his neck, held him against the wall and rammed the steel rod through his stomach, effectively nailing him to the wall.

He let out an enormous laugh as he charged at the others...

When he was finished and ran off, a grisly (To say the least) scene was left in his wake; one soldier nailed to the wall by a steel rod, three shredded by the rifle, one with an empty rifle sticking through his head, several with their limbs torn off and one man whose head had been rammed into the ceiling, with the rest of the body still attached.

Grimzag sprinted as fast as he could to what he could only hope was the exit... if it wasn't, he was going to make a last stand right up this corridor. As he ran, he checked his rifle. Empty. Crap.

He threw it away as he continued to the door.

Behind him he heard the shouts of Marines yelling, "STOP! STOP, OR WE WILL FIRE UPON YOU!" and, "SARGE! I REALLY THINK WE SHOULD BE SHOOTING HIM RIGHT ABOUT NOW!"

But these voices were somewhat distant. And the door was just a few metres away.. 5... 3... 1...

He smashed into the door like a human tank, knocking it clean off it's hinges. But as soon as he got through the doorway, he desperately tried to stop.

He was somewhere in the middle of a massive mountain range! The complex had been built into one of the mountains! (OOC: I have a thing about mountain lairs...)

But remember, I said tried to stop. He dug his heels into the snow and began to skid, but it just wasn't in time. He fell over the edge and let out a giant, "SHHHHH*******T!" as he began to roll down the mountain, bashing off rocks along the way.

OOC: From what I've gathered (Correct me if I'm wrong, Marines.) is this:

Warchief Grimzag Deathjaw (Leader of Dregruk's military, for those of you who don't know) visits a coastal village's warehouse to see the unveiling of a brand-spanking new assault rifle. He is then ambushed by a large group of Marines, determined to take him alive. They finally knock him out, after he kills 194 of them. He is taken to a mountain complex where something in his brain gives him an electric shock when he doesn't do as he's told. He then batters down the door and escapes, after killing even more Marines. He falls off the mountain and that is where we are thus far... I think:
1) Marines are the bad-guys
2) Grimzag has be brought into something very big and complex
3) Something has been planted in his brain, but we don't know exactly what... yet

Grimzag's eyes snapped open suddenly. His head was throbbing, and his face was pretty badly cut up from the fall. But that wasn't what woke him up. He'd heard voices...

He staggered to his feet and looked around. No one was around, at least not anywhere near him. He needed to see a psychiatrist soon, he thought. He looked up at the the mountain he'd just discovered gravity with, and saw two silhouettes running down one side of it. He was in no shape to fight anyone, so he staggered away as quickly as he could, hoping he'd find civilisation somewhere nearby.

Chief and Peeps were jumping down the mountain side, almost uncontrolably. The other four were behind, catiously taking their time. Peeps caught a glimps of Grimzag moving away, and as a result of looking away, sank 8 feet into a snow pocket. Chief kept on going, Hearts moved to help the short man.

Hively and his squadron had been camping in the area for a survival training exercise. Coincidentally, it doubled as an exercise in stealth and evasion, as they didn't exactly have the proper clearance to be here on semi-military matters, but the setting was ideal so it was a worthwhile risk. At least Hively's commander thought so.

The mountians had been preternaturally silent all day. Therefore, they couldn't help but notice the sound of distant and muffled gunfire, which carried so well on the crisp air. Too distant to be a problem, Hively mused. As a precaution, he ordered his men to grease up their faces, just in case they met up with anyone unexpected. He was startled at the sound of something sliding down the side of the mountian. Worried about a landslide, he led his men to investigate, and instead found something none of them had expected. A giant of a man was staggering away from the mountian, and with the blood on him, Hively almost thought he'd survived a firing line.

Unsure of what to do, and wishing for a comm set, he ordered his men to hold their positions. They'd be noticed soon anyway. No need to accelerate a potentially hostile confrontation.

Sparticus Trowel busted into the Emperor's office: "There's a situation in a country called Dregruk, Spike."

"What kind of name is that?"

"I don't know, here's the briefing....."

Grimzag stumbled along his way, every so often he'd trip and fall flat on his face. He would then drag himself onto his feet and pit out some snow. He ran on further, before slowing down. His experience-tuned hearing instantly picked out the sounds of breathing. He stopped, and assumed that he would most likely be surrounded, judging by the breathing.

He held up his hands and said, "Just get it over with..."

The big man didn't seem to be doing so well. He kept falling, leaving a bright red trail for anyone to follow. Curoisly, he stopped near the squadron, and seemed to surrender. Cautiously, Hively stepped out into view. "Easy now..I don't know what's going on, but you look like you need some help...What happened to your face?"
10-01-2004, 18:06
The Stork landed under an overhanging cliff. The Clown Gang immediately got to work on building their camp. The Clown Gang members, Raptor, Fang, Zephyr, Demon, Chomp, Zeus, Trident, Victor, Varmint, and Mammoth, all pitched tents and built small fires. After an hours rest, they climbed the cliff face and peeked over, and saw the large Gaeltach encampment. They immediately dropped to half-height, and drew up a plan......

The spec ops team slowly pulled themselves up onto the cliff, dislodged themselves from their climbing ropes and sank into the snow. They crawled through the freezing powder and Raptor stabbed a peeping hole in a "neutral"(as were units with unknown loyalties were called) tent. He peered in, and found it devoid of life. They listened and watched. Eventually, they stood, assuming that it was deserted. "Wow," said Fang, "They must've all died or flew the coop or something."

"Don't assume anything," advised Demon. "They could be off in the mountains somewhere. It's snowing, if they left tracks recently, they're covered up. Let's move on, see if we can find this "situation" we came here for." Demon, Fang and the others traveled on, Victor covering up their tracks with a broom he thoughtfully brought along......

[OOC: Yeah, the whole squad is here. The medic has a field pack with her, so they shouldn't need to go back to the encampment until his cuts are bandaged. The kneecap will prolly need more attention than a field pack can provide.]

Pierce stepped up to assist Grimzag, and instructed him to sit. Opening her pack, she withdrew cotton swabs, medicated pads, and alcohol wipes. Donning latex gloves, she carefully began cleaning up his face. The minor cuts she cleaned, but otherwise left alone to preserve supplies. The more serious gashes recieved a healty dose of NewSkin, and an occassional butterfly bandage.
"Broken nose," she muttered to herself as she set to work adjusting it before applying another butterfly bandage.
"Do you need anything for pain before I continue?"

------------------------------

Back at the encampment, Rosco and Charlie watched in silence as the intruders wandered away. Had they come any closer, the two german shepherds would have dutifully defended the site. At least as much of the site as their leashes would allow. For now, they remained quiet and still, waiting for their handlers to return, just staring after the strangers.
10-01-2004, 21:41
The Clown gang plodded on, whistling tunes to themselves as they went, with Chaplin automatic pistols holstered and connected to an ammo pack at their waist. The Chaplin was a versatile gun. It could act as your garden variety semi-auto pistol if it was solitary, or, if it was connected by tube to an ammo pack, it could act as an automatic rifle. The tube was flexible so it didn't restrict movement much, but still, many preferred to disconnect it unless quick rounds were needed fired. Since the Gang was in unfamiliar territory, they had it tethered up in case quick rounds were needed for whatever they found. they climbed up a snowbank and saw them. A group of people, circled around a giant man, who definitely needed medical attention, and appeared to be getting it from one of the large group of soldiers. They dropped down so only the top half of their heads and the barrels of their guns would be visible over the snowbank, should any of them look. Chomp had the bright idea of piling snow in front of their guns so the neutrals wouldn't see they were armed, and could still shoot at them through the small piles of snow. The man was extremely banged up, and on a mountain a bit of a way's away, they could see a large trench in the snow, as if a snowball had tumbled all the way down. They squinted and made out some kind of building built into the side of the mountain at the top of the trench. Apparently the snowball was the large man, and he was pushed from that building. The building was very high up, and the only way they could see that the gray dot up on the mountain was actually a building, was with their powerful binoculars. They immediately understood the giant man's condition. The people circling him could be from the building, and they may have been there to injure him further. At that, Raptor counted down to three, and they all jumped. Fang shouted, "By order of the Maniacan Clown Gang, FREEZE!"

Trident interjected slyly,"We're already frozen, an accurate assumption would be that they are too!"

Varmint added to Fang's order, "If you harm the man, we will kill you...."

Hively spun on his heel quickly to face the newcomers. Some perimeter he cursed sarcastically, with a side-glance to his command. Everyone stared at the apparant foe. Everyone except Pierce, who diligently continued her work on the injured man.

"No one's hurting anyone here," Hively began reassuringly, as he slowly and clandestinly reached for the M9 pistol holstered on his leg.

Pierce whispered to Grimzag almost inaudibly, "These your friends?"

"So the Weapons cache should be right about..."

"By order of the Maniacan Clown Gang, FREEZE!"

Agent Christine Yip glanced up from her belly crawl through the bushes. "What the hell?"

Two groups of people, military by the looks of them, stood with weapons drawn. One group had a huge man, bloodied and broken, standing in the middle.

'Not their prisoner. I don't see any blood on them...'

"If you harm the man, we will kill you...." One of the men from, what she supposed was, the "Maniacan Clown Gang," whatever that was, said.

"No one's hurting anyone here," replied a man from the group that seemed to now be helping the big man.

Yip blinked. Great, easy survivel training they said. Just find the weapons cache, they said. "Bugger bloody hell."

A large thump echoed from her position as her hand broke through the dirt and hit apon a crate from the weapons cache.

'Shit.'

"Do you need anything for pain before I continue?"

Grimzag ignored everything that was going on around him. If it was the Marines he'd encountered, everyone he was with would be under heavy fire by this point. So it looked into the friendly eyes of the medic, winked (as best he could from a battered eye) and took a single bullet from his pocket. He muttered, "No morphine. Always stick to your training." Before clenching the round between his teeth and said, "Dig away" around the bullet.

Pierce seemed completely oblivious to everything going on, or at least only peripherially aware of it. She was a little surprized by Grimzag's method, but continued on.
"With your nose taken care of, the worst should be over with," she stated quietly. "At least for now."
Expertly, she checked his neck and scalp, searching for anything out of the ordinary.
"I need you to tell me if anything hurts," she prompted, and began examining his arms, shoulders, and ribs.

Hively stood confused. It seemed that a second ago, something had been in the bushes. Now, she was nearly thirty feet from the bush. What just happened here? Calmly, he redirected his aim.

Watching from not far away is a team of LRR special ops troops, not unlike SAS except for the fact that they were not traimed for combat nearly as much as they were trained in observation, and that they tended to be very unwittingly funny. They are armed with either Nagant 1890 revolvers or H&K UCPs, along with their Ak-74s and G-36s.

Lieutenant Townsend admires his skill as a disguise artist, dressed in his white and green winter overcoat, grey-green combat fatigues, DPM helmet, and plaster-of-paris rock costume.

They had, of course, snuck from their drop-off point and to this position disguised as rocks and bushes, and moving three quick steps at a time. As such, it appeared that a line of vegetation was climbing up the mountain in slow increments. Unfortunately, the costumes were somewhat clumsy, as they discovered when they had to jump out of a Blackhawk.

Private Kingston sits perched on top of one of his squadmates, dressed as an evergreen bush. He peers out at the group of people, and grimzag, several hundred yards ahead of him. However, a small patch of ice has built up on the plaster rock that he is standing on. He shifts his feet and slips.

"Ahhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!"

He tumbles down the hill and through the bushes, until he comes to a stop at the feet of the Canada-Germany agent. The only thing wronmg with the evergreen bush was that it had a pair of insulated arctic boots sticking out of the bottom of it, and a pair of gloved hands out the side, still clutching a rangefinder.

Raptor decided to take a chance. "Holster your weapons. We'll take their word for it." The Clown Gang put their Chaplins away, and walked, very slowly, toward the group which they originally met. They had little interest in the hubbub going on around them. "This is not our man. We came to monitor the situation, and sort things out if they get violent. He obviously is not your man either. Perhaps it's he's one of those people's man, in the bushes...." He then noticed a woman who was once in the bushes was now pointing a gun at him. He pulled out a stun grenade(it looks like a real grenade, the others can't possibly know it's non lethal), and stabbed it with a pen he carried in his pocket(Maniacan grenades are activated by stabbing a weak point, and pulling out the sharp object. Until the object is retracted the grenade will not explode), and held it. He held it up by the pen, while continuing to speak to the original people he saw. "It appears, now that I look at it, that you are giving this man medical attention. I'm sorry for the misunderstanding, please continue your work." He sighed silently. They were truthful people, and his dangerous call had paid off. The original people, which he saw from their uniforms were from the nation of Gaeltach, had redrawn their weapons at his grenade, which he still held akwardly in the air. "Perhaps we should turn our attention to the woman with the guns pointed at us." He now pivoted to the said woman with the guns pointed. "What I have here is a grenade. It blows up, leaving destruction in it's wake. I also have....." he pulled out his Chaplin "an automatic weapon. If you shoot me dead, the pen will fall out and the grenade, now that it's been punctured for so long, will go off immediately. I also have 9 other teammates, all with automatic weapons. The prospect does not look good for you if you shoot me dead......"

While she waited for him to accomplish this task, she examined his swollen knee, now completely oblivioius to anything else that was going on.
"Crawford, I need two good sticks."
Crawford stared at her dubiously, then glanced to the armed woman, the man-eating shrub, and the attacking boulders. Deciding to take his chances, he did as he was told. Pierce straightened Grimzag's leg, and tightly bound the sticks to either side of his knee, forming a crude and temporary brace.
"Almost good as new," she smiled, and gave him a light-hearted wink.

Hively, relieved with his successful disarmament of the Clowns, now watched the advancing boulders with mild confusion. This was too much. He should have stayed home, and never accepted this training.

"I really thought we were past all this," Hively called to the Clown. "Putting away the gun was such a positive step." He kept his M9 trained on the man's forehead. If they were all going down, he wanted this man to clear the way to hell for them.

Private Kingston extends one of his hands and grabs onto the arm of the Canada Germany agent. He looks at her with dreamy eyes, a look Lieutenent Townsend has quickly learned to read. He appears beside the Canada-Germanian, still dressed in his plaster rock.

"Uh-uh private. Mabye another day. Now go help Sergent Cherbourg set up the UHF scanner."
"Which one's he?"

"Oh, I see."
"Now, I would like to introduce myself. I am Lieutenant Nathaniel Townsend of the LRR spec-ops. May I ask how you two, or three are doing today?"

He takes off his plaster rock, and puts it on the snow beside him. Soon, the rest of the team, still dressed in their foliage and plaster, stay away from the main group, out of the range of the grenade. One evergreen sports a barett .50 sniper rifle.

OOC:Manacian, do you have a picture of this "Chaplain" machine-pistol? I can't say I've ever heard of a MP fed through a tube.

IC:They wore black. Black ballistic armor, black glasses, black trenchcoats. The four BioAug-ed troops stood in the snow. It looked to be getting darker out.

It didn't make sense to wear black on white snow, but by the time the recon commenced, it would be dark enough to give them an advantage.

"Weapons out. Check ammo."

Georg Yalsig's three men obeyed, removing MP5K's with extended magazines.

"Ready."

"Ready."

"Err..hold on.."

Traktor Weiver checked his MP5K again.

"Ready."

"Plan is this: Go in, hit speed augmentation. Traktor, Archydev, you get photos. Yuri and I provide cover. If you have to, shoot to kill."

Georg tapped his temple twice and then his earpiece.

In Prashydeciltev, two technicians and a small host of politicians and military officers watched the live feed- directly from Georg's mind.

"Well, I WAS having a pretty good day." Agent Yip gave in a steady tone and nodded in greating to the Ex-rock. Then she walked over to the weapons cache and going into Step Up, pulled it from the ground.

The crate thumped, all Two Meters Cubed of it, as it hit the ground again.

When she cracked it open, she swore. Loudly.

100 pounds worth of bricks, 3 more mags for each Glock 20, a C7A3 with 5 mag's and 4 ring knives.

She had been crawling through the dirt for 2 weeks for this. Yip swore all the while as she picked up the weapons and checked them before putting them in their correct place on her clothes.

"A woman, by the looks of it," Traktor thought, looking down from the ledge. He tapped his temple three times. His companion, however, was not so lucky. He tripped on a rock, and at the high-speed he was going, he literally flew off the rocky outcropping.

"Kill no one." Traktor prayed his comrade would not pull the trigger. God knows what the implications of such an incident would be.

Hively looked up as yet another person seemed to fall off the mountain. What, do people rain from the sky here? Shrugging it off, he wondered if he had just been seeing things. He hated this exercise more with every passing second. For now, he decided to keep an eye on the area the supposed falling person disappeared into, but remained focused on the grenade-wielding Clown. He had not noticed the girl's absence.
"How's our friend doing?" he called back to Pierce.
"Almost done, sir," she responded. "At least he'll be able to walk without bleeding all over the place."

OOC: No pics of the Chaplin(like Charlie, the clown). The ammo comes up through the tube, into the back of the barrel where the tube is connected, and then out. Or, it relies on the magazine jammed in the bottom of the handle.

Raptor called out, "This pen is expendable, huh." With that, he flung the grenade as high as he could manage. He drew his gun, causing many a flinch among the crowd, and shot the grenade. It exploded with a very loud BOOM and electric bolts went everywhere, disapating before they hit the ground, the shrapnel for the most part flew safely past them from the elevated point of explosion. "'Twas just a stun grenade, would've put you in shock for 15 minutes. One question everybody......WHAT ARE YOU ALL DOING HERE???? We come here, expecting to be alone besides the feuding parties, and what do we find? Troops from how many different countries, let me count 'em." He actually did count them, and found that there were people from 4 countries besides Dregruk and themselves, Gaeltach, Canada-Germany, LRR, and Tooreeb. Then he saw that The people from Canada-Germany and Tooreeb were duking it out, and the Clown Gang was forced to draw their weapons once more. Varmint cried out, "CAN'T WE ALL JUST GET ALONG?!?!?" They pointed their weapons at the battling people, moving terribly fast. "JUST QUIT IT!" hollered Zeus. They didn't dare fire. They knew that. That would compromise their whole mission, which was to make sure this giant guy does whatever he does peacefully. Still, they pointed, trying to gain leverage, but effectively failing. They heard barking off in the distance. Could there be dogs here? If there were, they were probably very angry about the stun grenade explosion. It made them speculate about the quality of dog tethers while they waited for things to sort themselves out, while trying to keep people from dying.

The barking was getting louder. The Clown Gang started to chuckle. What a strange mission it had been. It appeared no one was the enemy here, no one that had shown their face. It was this giant misunderstanding. Though the Tooreeb people seemed pretty strange, maybe they were the evil ones. The bottom line was, the evil people were most likely from the building at the top of the mountain. With sudden anger for the people in the building, Victor flung a snowball up at the building, and it obviously fell way short. Raptor for a moment was scared it would hit a member of some other country's spec ops team. Fang just fell over and started waving his arms and legs to make a snow angel, while the barking got louder and louder. Chomp started to think about what it would be like if the dog attacked the guy in the rock suit. Basically it was just this huge, collaborative zone-out. The strange thing was, this zone-out, as it had done so many times before, helped them ease up, and get back in gear, whereas beforehand, they had been tense, and Chomp personally was ready to explode. Trident was trying to decide what to use: Sleep or Stun grenades on the dogs. He chose Sleep, as it was less traumatic. Of course, since they had long since established they had come from the encampment, the ones from Gaeltach probably could call them off, unless there was something really wrong. But they would cross that bridge when they came to it.

As if on cue, Rosco came bounding out of the brush. Alerted by the explosion, he managed to chew through his leash to protect his handler, exactly as he'd been trained to do. The big german shepherd lept at the nearest boulder, snarling viciously and searching for an arm or leg to bite.
Crawford jumped up in surprise. "Rosco, OFF!" he shouted. But the dog really loved to bite and kept trying.
"OFF!" he yelled fiercly, and the dog jumped back. He sat back, staring at the boulder and growling.
"Rosco, HEEL." The dog jumped at the boulder again.
"OFF!" This time when the dog sat, Crawford grabbed firm hold of his collar. He dragged the dog backward, bracing as the strong animal lunged and snapped threateningly. Once they had gained sufficient distance, Crawford was able to distract the shepherd, and scratched behind his ears to calm him down. He sat and released the dog.
"That's better, eh? Good dog." He played with the dog a bit, encouraging him to fetch sticks.

Grimzag did what the medic asked, and took off his shirt. He looked down and saw his chest was covered with tiny cuts, bruises and he had a bullet-hole in his side.

"Hey, I never noticed that one.." He said with surprise.

"That makes two of us," Pierce stated with mild alarm.
First things first. She wrapped his chest with a material resembling sports tape, only a little stiffer, and used the opportunity to search for an exit wound.
"Shit, I think the bullet's still inside. I'm giving you fair warning, because this will hurt."
Very carefully, she felt the skin around the wound. She did not find anything hard, which concerned her greatly.
"Well...you have a few options," she began, looking him dead in the eye. "We need to get that out, and I'm not allowing you to move or do anything else until this is done. It would be too easy for you to inflict more damage, and it could potentially kill you. I don't know how deep it is. So. You can wait while I send someone back to camp to retrieve some equipment, or I can try this by hand."

Shocked, she excused herself a moment to speak with Hively.
"Sir," she began in a hushed tone. "There is something strange going on here...We'll discuss it later. For now, I am about to attempt something rather risky at my patient's request. I need someone to go back and retrieve my surgical kit."
Hively nodded as Pierce returned to Grimzag's side, and kept his questions to himself for now.
"Walsh," he callled out. "You and private Crawford are to go and retrieve Pierce's surgical kit. Since your his handler, check on Charlie while you're there. You two can bring your animals back here, but keep them on SFS patrol leashes, and be sure to place the winter camo nets over everything."
The two left, with Rosco heeling nicely at Crawford's side.

Pierce took a moment to mentally prepare herself.
"Hope you're ready.."
Gently, she explored inside the wound with her fingers, searching for the bullet.
"Doesn't feel like any organs were damaged...you're lucky."
Up beneath a rib, she felt it. Withdrawing a field knife, she used it for leverage, ever so cautiously drawing the offending metal out.
"I can't imagine how that must have felt," she stated and brushed a thin layer of nerve-induced persperation from her forehead with her sleeve.
Holding the wound together with one hand, she generously applied butterfly bandages and covered the area with a gauze pad.
"When they get back, that will need to get stitched." She picked the bullet out of the snow and handed it to him. "I can't believe how close to your lung that was..."

Georg could hear the politicians and officers in the backround, murmiring.

He turned to his companion.

"Silence your steps. Shoot to kill."

The two men approached. George hid himself behind a tree, and his comrade approached the edge on his belly.

Georg tapped his temple once, then threee times. The two BioAugs opened fire on the woman.

Seeing his opprotunity, Traktor dashed backwards to an outcropping of rocks, spryaing 9X19mm fire in a small arc at his attacker. He soon flipped over the rocks and reloaded his PDW.

He looked around and started growling, "Someone give me a gun! Quickly!"
11-01-2004, 17:56
Fang unconnected his Chaplin and tossed it to Grimzag. "Just pull the trigger, the gun does the rest," he advised. The rest of The Clown Gang at this point were just looking on. They couldn't do anything, the didn't want to throw another grenade because it was such a small area and they didn't want the dogs acting up again. They didn't point their weapons or anything, except speculate that the Tooreeb officers were the bad guys here, because they wouldn't stop attacking. The guys in the rock and bush costumes were just hanging out, and most of the ones from Gaeltach had dropped. Slowly, they came to the conclusion that that was a good idea, and they did it as well. Raptor felt the back of his head and felt two bald streaks, like bullets had grazed by. Weird......

Grimzag held the gun tightly in his hand. In other circumstances, he would've commented on the quality of the weapon, but now was definitely not the time. EVERYONE HERE IS IN MY DAMN COUNTRY, AND UNLESS THE FIRING STOPS, I WILL DEAL WITH YOU PERSONALLY. SO IT WOULD BE IN YOUR BEST INTERESTS TO HOLSTER YOUR GUNS AND WALK INTO THE OPEN WHERE I CAN SEE YOU. NOW!" He yelled, with obvious authority. After finally digging their comrade out of the snow, the marine team of six had almost arrived at the congregation of peoples. They had probably lost their prey by now, and would have to start the search from scratch.
Peeps looked ridiculous in his drenched condition, and most of the squad were laughing at him when a hiss was heard. A micro second later, a gunshot. Then Cameron Black, their 'guardian angel' dead-eye shot fell to the ground, a hole in the back of his head. Guns looked at him wide eyed. "Hurry, this way!"

One of them points to the forest, and they both start running in that direction.

Pierce cast a questioning look to Hively. Hesitantly, he nodded and took off after the troopers. Pierce followed suit, looking back over her shoulder to be sure the rest of the squad was alright. They seemed to have made it to relative safety. Turning, she ran after Hively and stumbled as a stray bullet grazed her leg. Grabbing Hively's arm, she regained her balance and continued after the troopers.

Grimzag was firing bullets at random people, when he heard something that made him drop into cover. Footsteps.

He listened carefully, blocking out the sounds of the gunfire. Heavy boots... they were surrounding him.

"HOLD YOUR FIRE!" He yelled into the air, "THE REAL ENEMY IS TRYING TO SURROUND US! GET READY FOR THEM!!"

He clicked the hammer of the Chaplain back, ready to send the Marines to hell in a blaze of bullets, when he felt a radio at his knee. He grabbed it and tuned it into the Dregruk Military channel.

"Warchief in danger! We're at the foot of the Ryklig mountain range. Requesting Dregruk Elites to be dispatched ASAP."

A voice on the other end said, "Roger your request, Chief. Elites have been dispatched."

The chief sighed as the masses opened fire on each other and called the marines to him as they pulled back, trying to circle around to avoid their chasers and try to find Grimzag.
The security were gaining on them and the group at the bottom would have a hard time fighting all of them, even though they were under-paid.

Crawford and Walsh were still running carefully, and were nearing the edge of all the action. They had finally gotten the dogs to stop barking. Out of the corner of his eye, Crawford caught the motion of one of the marines trying to pull back. "HALT!" he yelled, in an attempt to get the marine's attention. "Halt or I'll release my dog!" With that bit of irritating protocol over with, he unclipped the dog's lead and chased after Rosco as the dog sprinted to take the marine down. The only way the marine could avoid a bite to the arm or leg now would be to drop his weapon and remain still. Walsh followed, but didn't unleash Charlie yet. Both handlers kept their weapons trained on the marine. If his weapon even started to point at the dog, they would not hesitate to fire.

Peeps had fallen behind, and his scanner equipment on his back, and short legs, had meant he had been spotted. And an attack dog was galloping towards him at an increadible rate. He screamed like a girl, and guns - who had been at the back of the group - turned around, and true to his name, opened fire at the on-coming beast. And missed every shot.

Crawford took no hesitation to open fire on the marine that had been shooting at Rosco. Walsh unclipped Charlie just as Rosco clamped onto the smaller marine's arm, pulling him fiercely to the ground. Crawford kept his gun level, ready to shoot again if another marine opened fire. Charlie jumped and latched onto the smaller marine's other arm, spinning him a bit before pulling him down with Rosco. They wouldn't let go until their subject stopped resisting or their handlers gave the order.

The rest of the squad had caught up, and Cookie, not wanting to hurt a dog, smashed the lunging one over the head with a frying pan from his backpack. The chief, still holding the gun steady, screamed at the handler to call the dog off - they didn't want a fight. Peeps was struggling on the ground, bleeding all over the place. It was getting messy.

"Rosco, heel."
The dog growled at the armed man, but eventually came to Crawford's side. Crawford never lowered his piece. Walsh nearly panicked when Charlie went down, but Crawford motioned for him to stay put.
"Identify yourselves," Crawford ordered. It seemed only the natural thing to do, given the tense and uncertain situation.

OOC: I posted a message but it got all messed up. Here's what happened: Trident rushes out to drag the gunless Fang to safety, but Fang mistakenly stabs him in a sleep grenade fastened to his midsection behind kevlar. Trident runs as far as he can up the hill, but eventually falls asleep from the gas. Then Zeus runs and drags them up the rest of the way. Raptor rubs snow in their faces and they wake up, still groggy. Victor is still out "dead" on the snow.

IC: They heard Grimzag shouting, and they looked for the marines, because at this point, they knew they were bad. Chomp heard strange noises behind them and ran out to see. He saw the dogs, one of them on the ground and two marines. He ran down with his gun pointed at the marines, seriously bloodied up. He slipped on some random ice and went
down just a few yards from the marines. He struggled to get up, and ran back halfway up the hill he had just come over, gun still pointed. He knelt, and lined up his shot. He would wait for the dogs' handlers to do anything before he did. He heard them call out names. He thought he had a bullet stuck in the back of his kevlar. Raptor, Demon, Varmint, Mammoth and Zeus rushed down to cover Grimzag. Zephyr stayed to look after the tired ones. They looked for what he was shooting at, and shot with him. Raptor fell to the the ground from the force of a bullet hitting the kevlar. It had broken through the first layer. They tried to move toward Victor on the ground, try and sheild him getting up from the enemy's eyes. Varmint took a shot to the helmet, it broke through the main armor and hit his forehead, stopped mutually by his skull and the thin-ness of the tunnel in the helmet the bullet passed through. "RUN HOME!" shouted Raptor at him, and run he did. He threw his helmet in the direction of the shot and he ran over the hill. He reached down in his pocket to get some antiseptic and dropped some in the wound. It stung really badly. He shook his head viciously trying to jar the bullet out. He ran past Zephyr, Fang, and Trident on the hill, he ran past Chomp and the dog situation, he ran past the Gaeltach encampment, and he grabbed the rope from the cliff and slid down it, right into his tent. He yelled out for the medics. They came and went to work........

Yip heard this and 2 things flashed through her mind.

One, the sounds of a scuffle could be heard behind her and two, the idiots in front of her hadn't responded.

"Fu*k this." she muttered to herself before turning a 180 and driving back into the bushes.

Finally, when she reached the noise, she came in just in time to hear this being said.

The Galtech agents are led up into the deeper forest, where the SAS troopers have set up a temporary base, consisting of several heavily camoflauged foxholes. Pierce is attended to by the squad doctor, who ties up the wound with a bandage and gives her some whiskey. One of the SAS troopers gets the radio antenna set up in the top of a tree, and the squad prepares to call in a medevac flight.

"Hey, there. Er, base.....we need a medevac flight to our position, just stray of the main base there. Some folks got hurt, ya know? We needa get 'em outta here. Ok, thanks."

Back at home base, a blackhawk lifts off from the tarmac. Although LRR usually doesn't use UH-60s, they tended to be more suitable for special operations than the regular-use huey Griffons and Mi-8s.

Pierce politely refused the whiskey, and left the doctor to seek out Hively. She found him standing near the edge of the base, staring in the direction of the gunfire. It had quieted significantly...a fact that was both relieving and worrisome. Hively was worried about his men. She could see that. But the LRR troopers must have had good reason to bring them here, so they'd stay put for the time being.

Walsh turned and aimed at the woman as she stepped out of the bushes nearby.

Grimzag grinned; the very best of the Dregruk Elites had been despatched. "This is Deathjaw. I read you. You see our position?"
"Yes sir."
"Drop in here and secure the area. How many people can that chopper hold?"
"Depends on how many you want to take. Family or army?"
"There's a few scattered troops from different countries around here. I think we'd be best to take them with us, back to Ghastopol."

There was a pause before the reply, "We've got a reading that a... LRR medevac is en route to the location also. We'll get the non-injured personnel in here, and the others can go in the LRR chopper. But I assume we'll want everyone who isn't hostile to come back to Ghastopol?"
"That's right. Deathjaw out."

Grimzag looked up at the skyline, and saw the dark shape of a helicopter move in, fast. Soon, it was over his head, and the Elites were dropping down.

When the Commander landed, he yelled, "DREGRUK ELITES! ALL PERSONS IN THIS AREA ARE REQUIRED TO THROW DOWN THEIR WEAPONS AND COME FORWARD. BE ADVISED THAT WE WILL FIRE UPON ANYONE WHO IS ARMED. YOU HAVE 3 MINUTES."

The SFS squadron from Gaeltach watched the incoming Helo with a growing sense of dread. They may not have been entirely sure of what was going on, but they knew that this was definately not good. Not good at all. With a sense of urgency, they fell back (with the exception of the two dog handlers) and scattered a bit. Wasn't long at all before men started dropping into the area yelling commands. They hid themselves as best as possible, wishing Hively was there for some instruction. They'd been dragged into this fray as good samaritans, and nice guys usually got killed in situations like this.

The marines plodded their way through the snow, to the intended evacuation zone. Guns played rearguard but Chief first lef them to recover their snipers body. Never leave a man behind. The pleasant sound of the pelicans engines could be heard far off and it relaxed the men to hear their ride out of this war-zone. However, there were still some base security around the area who might have found the fallen marine, so caution would need to be taken.

Peeps was tracking a large object with multiple targets around it. The trace said it was Dregruk, and it looked like people were giving themselves up to the eilites. Cookie had taken point, and was leading the group through a forrest. They had been coming up onto their fallen comrades position and had quietened down.
When he was in sight, the squad stopped and crouched, looking very profesional. Cookie, however, passionately made a dash for him, even though it was obviously a trap. The ambushers appeared from the trees and cut him to pieces, but he fell like a struggling bull, unrelenting. Hearts, Guns and Chief all swore at the same time, stood up, and opened fire. They could see another force closing in around the marines as something up ahead provoked shooting. Instantly, the two handlers dropped and found cover. They did not want to get involved in this. Hearing Rosco growl, Crawford used his hands to clamp the german shepherd's muzzle shut, and pulled the dog into his chest to keep him still.

The rest of the squad watched in silence as the group from Maniaca offered a surrender of sorts. The SAS troopers slowly start out for the main body of people again, but very slowly. Soon, however, there is the sound of a helicopter inbound, apparently at very high speeds.

Lieutenant Townsend looks out through an opening in the trees to see, to his great relief, a bright yellow Blackhawk with giant red crosses painted all over it come barreling in at breakneck speed, flanked a Huey Griffon and a Westland Scout, the scout adorned with various pieces of ECM gear.

Aboard the blackhawk, called the yellowhawk by LRR crews, the pilot quickly sights the area of main fighting, and he noses the big helicopter to that area. Soon, they are over the group of fighting parties, and the blackhawk hovers over the center of the group. Meanwhile, the two griffons hover over a portion of the woods, and let down several ropes. SAS troopers attach themselves to the ropes, and are slowly hoisted into the helicopter. The only SAS troopers left on the ground are the four wounded troopers, lieutenant Townsend, the doctor, and a pair of privates. They start moving down to the main group.

"Good." Said Grimzag, motioning to the chopper. "Bear in mind we won't hesitate to shoot you if you try anything."

Meanwhile, the Elites got ready to move. While the commander shouted that the time was up, they began munching on snow. The cold substance would cover up the smoke from their mouths when they breathed. Each man knew exactly where to move, as if the dense forest they were about to enter was his own back garden. They all silently entered the forest, placing tiny loudspeakers against certain trees, with the pre-recorded message of "Freeze! Dregruk Elites! Drop your weapons and put your hands on your head slowly!" that could be activated at any time by pressing a pressure pad under their camouflage jackets.

One Elite spotted a Marine moving through the trees. Silently, the Elite moved into a bush that the Marine was about to pass. He pressed the pad, and the message shouted out (From the opposite direction of where the Elite was). The Marine raised his rifle, ignoring the command issued by the recording. The Elite grinned evilly, and unclipped his machete (Standard issue for all Elites in a wild environment). As the Marine began to move away with his back to him, the Elite snuck up behind him and struck. He landed a fast, quick stab through the neck of the Marine, who fell to the ground gurgling quietly. The Elite wiped the blade clean and vanished.

One Elite pulled a pair of thermal-vision goggles out of his backpack, and silently prayed, as he turned them on, that it wasn't one of those vampires he'd fought before. He pulled the goggles over his eyes and scanned the area.

And then he spotted it.

He held up his left hand, with 4 fingers up. He tapped his right elbow with them and motioned in the direction of Pierce and Hively's tree. ("40m in that direction")

The Elites surrounded the tree and one man decided he would risk exposure. If the enemy was armed, it wouldn't matter; the combined firepower of the Elites would be able to level the tree anyway.

"Pierce and Hively of Gaeltach? This is the Dregruk Elites. The boss wants a word with you."

All of the Elites raised their MP5's at the tree in anticipation.

Hively hadn't detected the Elites until they were disturbingly close. He saw them moving somewhat in their direction and very carefully reached for a handful of snow. Pierce shifted in her sleep, causing the slightest sound. Hively froze in position, cursing to himself when all the Elites froze. Apparantly, they had been heard. Waking Pierce now would mean certain detection and either capture or death. The Elites surrounded the tree and called them by name- an act which did little to comfort him with all those weapons pointed. To Hively's utter dismay, Pierce jerked awake at the sudden sound and in one fluid motion undid the safety on her weapon, and twisted around to aim at the owner of the voice.

She refused, and covered her face with her hands in an attempt to get her bearings. Hively turned to the Elites with a weak smile, holding his side. He'd be alright in a minute or so. "You'll have to excuse my medic. Woke up on the wrong side of the..tree."

"I don't know."

The pilot checked an instrument on the control panel of the chopper, "... -5 degrees C outside, so it's not that cold, by Ghastopol standards at least."

"Colonel, take these people into custody. Anyone who says they aren't up to questioning can rest until they are. I need to see about getting myself a new pair of Desert Eagles..."

The Colonel saluted, and stood to attention as Grimzag headed towards the armory.

"Alright folks!" Said the Colonel to the newcomers, "Anyone who wants to get the questioning out the way, can follow that gentleman there." He pointed at a soldier who nodded to the gathered crowd. "But I think maybe you should take the time to get used to the surroundings, bu you cannot leave this facility. Do NOT, under any circumstances, try to leave without authorisation from the Chief. "So, you can follow that gentleman to get the questioning done, that one if you want to go to the medical centre, me if you want to go to your quarters and get some sleep, or head of after the Chief if you want to see about having a new gun made for ya. Zeus answered for the group. We were sent by our superiors to sort out a situation in Dregruk. Apparently some plane, I don't know what kind of plane it was, they didn't tell us, noticed some strange activity going on in the mountains and saw somebody get rolled down a mountain being trailed by gunfire. We came down originally to try and keep the situation from turning violent, but if youd've been there, youd've seen that that was impossible. We sided with the guy who'd been rolled down a mountain, but nothing really happened to us while we were down there, besides Varmint taking one in the noggin. "Of course, Security and all, I understand."

The Magazine is ejected and placed in his waiting hand. A safety check is proformed and a bullet is propelled out of the chamber. Yip picks up up and places it in another pocket.

She sits down, removes the cleaning kit from the rifle butt and cracks the rifle open. The cocking handed is pulled back and the bolt is removed. With a gerber than no one even saw her carrying, the firing pin retaining pin is pulled out and placed carfully in front of her, followed by the firing pin itself. The bolt holder is extracted, and the bolt itself is taken from the bolt carrier.

With great care the extractor pin is removed and the extractor itself is set down right next to all the other parts of the bolt.

Both upper and lower receiver are seperated from each other; the plastic hand guards are removed from the barrel; the recoil spring is removed from the butt and finally, the scope is removed from it's mounting.

Thus, the maticulous job of cleaning a weapon begins and though, through out the process of breaking the rifle down, there had been only silence, with a CLP oiled rag in one hand and the bolt carrier in the other, she finally asked him, "So, what do you know?"

"I need two of the sniper rifles that the Elites use. Ones that can fire a .357 Magnum load." The armorer raised an eyebrow, but handed over the weapons anyway.

Grimzag took them back to his seat (OOC: I know zilch about weapons making, so the majority will probably be impossible...) and began sawing at them. Soon, they were half the original size. Following some complex work, the rifle barrels were locked on top of each other, on the chassis of the original Desert Eagle. The original DE barrel had been taken off. The grip had been widened slightly to accommodate a new clip that had 24 .357 Magnum FMJ rounds. The bullets would split off into the two barrels as they were fed into the breech.

Raptor Took a snowball and flung it at the aggressor after which he himself was hit in the back of the head and he fell face down on the ground. Chomp and Demon combined to pick up the midsection of a snowman and they took it up on their shoulders, looking for a good target to unleash it upon. They saw Fang strolling out of the medic area to join the festivities, and they charged at him, one person on each side so that the snowball would hit him square in the face when they ran beside him. Some snowballs flew aimlessly into the woods, others smacked against windows. Trident poked a needle sized hole in a smoke grenade that had been hidden under kevlar and began injecting snow into it. Zeus was fighting with his back to a decapitated snowman. Trident jammed the grenade into the midsection, stabbed it with his dagger at the weakpoint, pocketed the dagger, ran four steps and slid to the ground. The snowman midsection exploded, there was smoke and snow everywhere. Trident had actually created a snow grenade that exploded corrrectly. That had changed the whole face of the game. Now, since most people were on the ground since they had been hit by a slab of snow going 40 miles per hour, Trident was king. He chucked snowballs at will. But rebellion was brewing. The subjects were collaborating. Raptor grabbed a snowball in each hand and charged toward Trident while his back was turned. Trident saw him and quickly hit him back to the ground. But while his undivided attention was turned to Raptor, the other ten fighters all threw snowballs that hit their mark. Now Trident was off guard, and it was time to go in for the kill..........

A small tracking device dimmly glowed on the underside of the jets left wing. It was too fast for the marines to catch up with it now, but one radio call later, and they were riding in the pelican once more - now painted in a dazzling white.

"Why'd you paint it white?", asked Guns, "It looked way cooler in grey"
"Cos were in snow dumass. And i was bored", Hearts replyed from the pilots seat. Guns shrugged.

Hearts flew the pelican upward into high atmosphere ,to try to locate where Grimzag was going. Chief hoped that it wasnt something to do with the chip. Peeps sneezed and pulled another blanket over himself. Guns took a swig "for the cold".

Soulblighter was worried. He had heard no word from Dregruk about the new weapon. Perhaps they didn't want to share it? He would give them a few more days, and then get Damas to go investigate. He was away doing exercises with some of the troops; there was no need to disturb him yet.

Sighing, the Emperor sat down in his seat and began reviewing the budget sheet. He was interrupted by a buzz from his intercom. He pressed the button and Jones' voice crackled over.

"My Lord, we have detected a jet inbound from Dregruk. Will we give it clearance to land?"

Soulblighter thought about it for a moment.

"Yes, they may land. Hopefully they will have something to tell me."

After cutting the connection, he sat back and smiled. It looked like someone was coming to give him something after all...

Grimzag took uneven steps, often stumbling, as he neared the Government office. The maniacal flare inside him was burning with excessive energy, and it fueled his unnatural hatred for Soulblighter and anyone who got in his way. Realising that guns would be a waste until he was past the security, Grimzag looked around the streets for a weapon. Something relatively silent, yet very effective... At that moment, a plastic bag flew into his leg. He grabbed it and shoved it up his sleeve.

Walking into the reception of the building, Grimzag saw it was empty, save for one soldier patrolling back and forth with his rifle slung over his shoulder. The soldier nodded to Grimzag when he saw him, before continuing his patrol. Perfect.

Sergeant Fulstrum walked on his patrol, wondering what a giant was doing in the Government building. Probably another wacko tourist from Dregruk just having a look around. His eyebrows tightened when he heard a strange rustling noise behind him.

Grimzag was a few inches behind the Sergeant when he struck. With a lightning fast movement and unequaled brutality, he pulled the bag across the man's face. Tightening it, he pulled the struggling head back and lifted the squirming man off the ground, until he was at head-level with Grimzag. Grimzag wasted no time in repeatedly smashing his fist into the soldier's face, before finally snapping his neck. The Sergeant fell to the ground, blood dribbling down the blue bag wrapped around his head tightly.

Grimzag realised he would be soon seen on the CCTV, so he wasted no time in diving over the reception desk and landed on the other side of the security systems, just as a loud klaxon sound and metal panels fell around where he had been 2 seconds ago.

"Unauthorised ship, you have entered Troon airspace. Turn back or you will be fired upon."
Chief took the radio as Hearts needed to concentrate.
"Listen kid, we need you to relay a message to your government, ok?"
The ship barrel-rolled as an anti-air missile streaked across its under carriage.

Soublighter sat down and resumed looking over his reports.
"Kill him."
"Sir, I don't think you understand who I'm talking abou..."
"What part of that last order did you not understand, Lieutenant?" Asked Soulblighter cuttingly, still not looking up.

The man sighed and said, "Yes sir." before turning and marching away.

Meanwhile, Grimzag was looking around the area he was in. There was quite a lot of equipment here he could use. In one equipment store, he spied a chainsaw propped up against the pieces of wood it was chopping. He grabbed it and walked out the door, to see the place explode with soldiers.

Bullets flew past him like raindrops, and the man he was charging at was paralysed with terror, and had only just begun to raise his rifle when Grimzag rammed the chainsaw into his chest. Blood splattered all over the walls, coupled with torn flesh. Several soldiers fell over and started vomiting, but Grimzag wasn't finished. He pulled the chainsaw out of the corpse and readied for another attack when a bullet thudded into his thigh, followed by a few more. He fell onto one knee and rolled to the left, grabbing the fallen soldier's rifle as he did so. He let loose a torrent of bullets, killing a good number of the soldiers as he did so...

As he was admiring the conditions, a tiny radio was on in his ear, telling of a giant "madman" who had just torn apart a guard at the goverment building wearing a Dregruk uniform. He woke the others, told them the news, and they were off in the Stork for Troon in half an hour. They had no idea whether there would be welcome party waiting for them or an SAM at the Troon border. Time slowed for Grimzag, as it always did when he was in a dangerous situation.

As he rested on one knee, and could see the empty shell casings flicking out of the rifle as round after round after round was discharged into the Troon soldiers. He even watched the returning fire from the Troon soldiers flying at him, some thudding into the wall behind him, some piling into the ground... and a few embedded themselves into him. He winced every time he felt the familiar piercing pain. But he was having to much fun cutting down the Troonites. One soldier was riddled full of bullets in the chest, another's head was blasted by one, splattering blood and bone fragments into the eyes of the man behind him.

Grimzag got to his feet, his rifle glowing red and the room even redder. He was confident every one of the Troonites were dead, when he caught a glimmer of movement at the corner of his eye.

The blinded soldier. He'd forgotten about him.

An evil grin snaked its way across Grimzag's face as he raised his rifle once more, but quickly evaporated when the rifle's response to him pulling the trigger was a metallic *KLIK*.

The blind soldier spun in Grimzag's direction and began spraying wildly with his rifle, half-screaming at him, half-crying. Grimzag tried to dive to the right, but as a low bullet cut the underside of his ankle, the dive turned into a collapse. *BADOOMF*. The soldier must've assumed that that implied Grimzag was dead.

But he was very wrong.

Grimzag was walking towards him, holding the chainsaw in his right hand, the rifle long since abandoned. When he was within 1 foot of the man, (In one swift movement) he pulled the cord of the saw and swung it at the man's neck. As fast as it was, he still had time to see the expression on the man's face change from satisfaction to sheer terror... right before the blade sliced his head off.

They had no idea what to do, and they were the best and brightest in Maniaca. They hadn't really been trained for this situation: Juggernaut madman on rampage, trying to assassinate leader in government building. When he felt his leg touch his desk, he backed around it and pulled a shiny black revolver out of one of the drawers. It was a powerful Magnum .357. He clicked back the hammer on the weapon.

He knew fine well the weapon wouldn't kill Grimzag, maybe just slow him down a little. Which was exactly what he wanted. He fired off every single round at Grimzag's legs. One bullet smashed into the ground beside Grimzag, one hit him in the ankle, and the rest missed spectacularly. Finally, the revolver clicked empty.

Soublighter threw it to the ground, and was horrified to see Grimzag crawling towards him, the chainsaw gripped so tightly that his knuckles were glowing white. Behind him he left a trail of blood from his legs.

Soublighter ran to one of the bookcases in his office and struck one of the books on it with his fist. The bookcase slid open, revealing an elevator. Soulblighter ran into it and jammed his thumb onto the button, and the bookcase slid back across the gap as his elevator descended.

However, in their nervousness, their hands were shaking and their shots were frantic. Nearly all of the shots missed their mark, and only one or two hit him in the forearm or foreleg. When they saw Grimzag's head turn toward them, Fang pulled out a stun and sleep grenade, punctured them both, and flung them at Grimzag while the rest of the Gang ran back out of sight just behind the doorway. Fang didn't see if the grenades hit their mark or not, after they left his hand, he took off as well. Suddenly, he heard (What sounded like) a thousand metallic clicks around him, and when he looked up, he saw a squad of Troon soldiers, the "Emperor's Pride" Division, by the looks of it.

"On your feet." Said a gritty, hard voice. Grimzag clenched his teeth and stood up, occasionally fumbling onto one knee.

The last thing he remembered was a heavy thud against his head, presumably from a heavy rifle.

The soldiers looked down at their handywork. Grimzag lay on the ground, a slow but sure ooze of blood appearing on his head.
