Topography: The high Fortunato Mountain mountains extend into western Montecito along the border. East, the Montecito Plain is partially desert as a result and is the least populated of Montecito, until the Santiago Mountains and valleys. Climate ranges from arid in the west to temperate along the coasts and valleys. The island of Perdido is uninhabitable due to radiation.

Actually, I admit right now I'm looking for comments on the maps. I put a lot of work into them this time, though I have yet to come up with a map of Santa Barbara that is as detailed as the Montecito section, and the rivers don't have names (who cares though? They're so polluted they're all really just sludge flows anyway.)
