Outside the Presidential Office, President James Baker addressed journalists in a press conference.

"Our Republic has sucessfully joined the Coalition of Anti-Capitalist Economies.

We humbly accept our responsibilites with dignity & fortittude.

We endevour further to persue human rights nationwwide and worldwide.

For many years now, humankind has worked to perfect the phyical wordl If a building falls down, we can build it up again.

With life, it's different. That is why we have joined the coalition.

Unlike many dictatorships in this wolrd, we will not abuse our citizens, nor othe nation's citizens.

Thank you."

It is truly a sad fate, to see a fellow socialistic nation collapse into the bounds of the CACE. We were once part of that organization, and found it to be very hostile and strict. Is it not unfair that your nation cannot seek endeavours of private enterprise and capitalist allies and friends, simply because of your membership to this organization?

However, we hope that in the end all nations will see the sillyness of the CACE, and they will no longer put themselves beside it. An organization which ravaged thousands of nations with it's support of the Rights of Labor Unions UN proposal, which narrowly passed. Immediately after it was implemented on November 24, 2003, thousands of nations suffered extreme economic collapses, including Lietuveska. It was an event to doom our membership..

Later on, we were telegrammed by a leading CACE member suggesting that we refuse the aid of a SATO nation (SATO is a capitalist alliance) and instead receive from aid from the CACE. It was then assumed by our government that it was time to remove ourselves from such an organization that would limit diplomatic relations.

So good day to the nation of Tirith, and it can only be hoped that you will prosper better under the CACE than we did. God bless from the USSL.

To Tirith, we wish only the best, regardless of what alliances they may join.

Let us say a word on the "CACE-sponsored recession." It is true, there was a period of economic readjustment as many non-CACE nations including ours brought our labour laws into compliance with the UN resolution on workers rights. Our economy plummeted, like many others.

But it thanks to the new standards on labour rights, and on a new trading partnership we signed with many nations, including some from CACE, that brought us to recovery. Our economy, driven down to "developing" by the recession, quickly recovered and, on signing the International Fair Trade Agreement, rose to its highest level ever, "strong."

As a result, we belive that a decently-educated, prosperous workforce is not a barrier to economic success. It is a boon. Labour rights are not only the right thing to do, they can achieve prosperity for the whole nation.

To Lietuveska, we also wish nothing but the best. But we hope your bad experience with the CACE nations will not drive you to abandon that which is vital to a state that believes in justice, as we know Lietuveska does: a decently-treated and prosperous workforce.

La'o hamutuk, mau bere! Walk together.
