The Foe Hammer Government recently struck a deal with The Armed Republic of Xanthal for the sale of the frame of the decommissioned Apocalypse-class Planet Killer. Engines included, this cost Foe Hammer about Two trillion credits.

The Apocalypse was sold without any systems, just the frame of the vessel and engines. Foe Hammer Shipyards will convert this Ex-Planet Killer into a Planet Seeker. Working with a WIDE variety of corporations, FHS will add Life Support, Plasma Power SuperReactor (About three times the size of a regular Plasma Power Reactor, living spaces, recreational spaces, airports, Car dealerships, farms, and other features. Once the vessel is refitted, this massive moving colony will be soveriegn, meaning it will be able to operate completely on it's own resources, such as farms for growing plants, Cattle ranches for meat, factories for products, shops, car dealerships, etc.

This vessel is so large, each citizen of the Colony MegaShip will have his own Three-room apartment, each with around 1500 square feet of space. 5,000 square kilometers of space would equal 45,000,000,000 apartments. Therefore, only about 20km2 will be devoted to living space. 180,000,000 apartments - WAAAAAY too much space - are available for Foe Hammer citizens, and close Foe Hammer Allies. The rest of this massive space will become a GIGANTIC city, with Skyscrapers, workplaces, shops, etc. This Colony Megaship is so large, it will be equipped with airports, car dealerships, A massive Artificial lake with Cruise ships, etc. This will be a massive Space City with engines.

Defense-wise, this ship will have it's own fleet assigned to guard it. All fleet specs are classified, unfortunately.

The ship's engines will be overhauled, and the top speed without CHFD (Cascading Hyperspace Fold Drive) will be bumped up to about .25 Sublight using the Sublight drive which will also be installed.

Ship specs:

The Colony Megaship is not equipped with the IT Planetbuster weapon shown firing in this picture.
Dimensions: 5,000,000 X 2,500,000 X 2,000,000 meters
Weapons: Unknown
Total Capacity: Unknown
Features: Still being decided
You get the point. This post is just to announce our intentions, and the beginning of refitting. I'm gonna snooze now, so don't expect post replies too soon :P .

Indeed, Mngamojemo is forced to concede that it, too, is highly underwhelmed by this new development.

OOC: Also, your math seems a bit...off

5,000 square kilometers = 5,000,000 square meters

Assuming that this is a square (the shape is irrelevant, the area is still the same), then that would be approximately 2236 meters to a side.

Now, each apartment covers 1500 square feet of floor space. Again assuming that the apartment is in the shape of a square, that would be approximately 39 feet to a side.

39 feet equals 468 inches, which equals approximately 1189 centimeters, or 11.89 meters.

2236 divided by 11.89 means that there are approximately 188 apartments along each side, for a total of approximately 35344 apartments.

45000000000 divided by 35344 is a Very Big Number (TM).

Whoa, whoa, whoa... You're raping an entire Math Class.

You're mixing numbers up.

1 square kilometer = 1,000,000 square meters. Why? A square Meter is 1,000cm x 1,000cm. A square Kilometer is 1,000m by 1,000m. Do the math to calculate the area of a space, 1,000 times 1,000, and you get 1 million, meaning that there are 1,000,000 square meters per square kilometer. You're thinking regular length. My space measurements are stated in metric area measurements.

You did get two NUMBERS right, though, however, the terms are still messed. 5,000 kilometers long DOES equal 5,000,000 meters long, not squared.

Actually a square meter = 100cm x 100cm = 1000mm x 1000mm.

No. In my opinion, planetbusting is a godmod. It takes an immense amount of force over a long time to destroy a Planet. For instance, a Base Delta Zero, the Star Wars planetbusting, took about a day and required constant bombardments by numerous Star Destroyers.

However, weapons that can Planetbust are not a godmod. Hell, anything powerful can bust a planet, if you use it right.

Lack of space (Even though Foe Hammer owns numerous planets, but only 3 or 4 of them are inhabitable), need for exploration. Plus, we just thought it'd be SOOOOO frikkin' awesome to build a city in a Spaceship.
