Introduction
Christemont was founded in 1777 by King Lawrence III. An ordinary Frenchman, he escaped France when he was put on trial for claiming that he was the rightful heir to the French throne. In his quests, he finally came across a deserted island in the East Pacific Ocean, about five hundred miles southwest of La Paz, Mexico. Here he staked out his own nation with his 20,000 followers, and it grew to the size it is now. Christemont has prided itself on being an independent and isolated power in the East Pacific, and it's culture is very traditional, Catholic, and peaceful. Christemont is known for its beautiful sunrises and warm temperatures.
