Phyrric is in the state of conversion with anticipation for the need of total war.

All military personnel currently on shore are to report to their respective commands immediately. The use of Weapons of Mass Destruction has already been used against a Nation for unjustifiable means and members of the GDODAD and her allies support this measure to their fullest extent.

The manufacturing sector of phyrric is hereby required to convert to military hardware, production, supply and only necessary resources will be used for the greater good in purchasing and needs of the populous.

All naval units are to exit ports and relocate to wartime stationings. All army units are required to station and position defensive structures and artillery for the possibility of invasion. All reserve units are hereby activated.

Marshall law has been implemented and curfue is in full effect. The Draft has been reinstated, all males over the age of 18 with social security numbers ending in 48 are to report to the nearest government office for instructions and/or duty.

Somewhere in Terra Malus

Terra Malus' armed forces chief was in a meeting with the top officers of the intelligence service. A massive mobilization in Phyrric was underway and no one knew for sure why. The general was unsure why, but a wave of apprehension swept over him. Phyrric is a friend, but still, no one assembles an armada like that for a parade. He'd have to report this to the Emperor right away. It'll also be a good idea to have the Foreign Minister there, they might get answers through official sources though the general knew that chances of this was slim. Spying was out of the question of course, so everything will have to be coursed through normal diplomatic channels. The armed forces will have to be put on alert, not because of the threat of invasion but in anticipation of a call for assistance.

"Sir, are you alright?", a colonel asked.

This shook the general into attention. He took a second to collect his thoughts before he spoke. "Yes, of course. This is a very serious matter. I shall have to speak to the Council immediately. Dismissed."

The Phyrric Naval Yards has been ordered into production of Naval War units only until furter notice. The construction of the new BBG class Battleship PRN Alexander the Great BB 100 has been ordered as well as the sister ships 101, 102, and 103.

20 new destroyers and frigates are on order and the keel for 6 of them have been laid out as this is being published. The Phyrric Navy will increase its Battle Fleets from 21 to 24 and its Amphibious Assault Fleet from 7 to 9. Total active duty personnel will be raised from 2.0 million to 2.5 million with another 250,000 in active reserves. Total Naval Department force is 6,337,500 (this includes support, reserves and Marine numbers)

The Marine Corps, under the Naval Command, will be raised from a 750,000 force to 1.25 million. The Marines currently have an active reserve force of 150,000. The veteran elite units will be raised from 500,000 to 1 million. The veterans are used primarily on drop ships and protection of the Stations. The totals of the veterans are not calculated in the totals for the marines but are considered a sub-branch. There are no active reserves for the veterans as they volunteer to serve for life. Total Marine Corps force is now 2,962,500 (this includes support, veterans and reserves)

The Army after the draft and a new Congressional approval raises the standing amount from 1.75 million to 3 million. With support units and administrative positions, this total will be a raise from 2.5 million to 4 million respectively. Defective and old equipment will be replaced immediately with new equipment. There are currently 750,000 active reserve units, this number will be raised to 1 million. As always, the 100% supply regulation remains in effect. (Army staffing is at 5 million)

The Air Force is replacing all the aging F15 with F22 and should be complete by years end. The Air Force will be raised from a 1 million personnel force to be doubled at 2 million. Of this, an additional 40,000 pilots will be trained. Active reserve numbers will be raised from 250,000 to 500,000. Total Air Force personnel is at 3 million (support and reserves calculated in)

The fifth branch of the Service, The Alliance, implemented to serve the UNAOTO alliance, will be raised from 1 million to 1.75 million. This number reflects the manpower that can be fielded and are exclusively ground combat units. The support and admin figures of 750,000 is not calculated into this figure. There are currently 500,000 active reserves and that number will stand as is. This will total 3 million personnel.

Total military personnel: 17,337,500 or 1%, an increase from .76%.

The draft is no longer to be implemented as staffing is accomodated.

The Federal Government has been highly alarmed at the recent activities in Phyrric. As the Navy is the general force of the Federal Military Forces, any huge movement and naval buildup such as the one occuring in Phyrric is severely frightening to those in the Senate. To these ends, to ensure the Navy's status, even as the Air Force requests additional needed funding, the Senate has voted by a large majority to set aside a large amount of funds to begin constructing new ships, specifically 8 new Excelsior class Battleships, the newest class of the Federal Navy, and 5 new Ark Royal class Fleet Carriers.

Furthermore, the Valiant class Battlecruiser has been speedily set through sea trials and officially commisioned hastily, while more of the class have been ordered up as part of the new Naval building program. Also, large numbers of cruisers and destroyers have been re-deployed from the Reserve Fleet and are being re-vamped and modernized in Federal Shipyards, and the mothballing of several capitol ships, notably 9 of the Athena class Light Carrier, has been suspended indefinitely.

With Federally owned Naval Yards swamped with re-vamping older designs, the Federal Government has procured almost every drydock and yard on the mainland for the construction of the newer vessels. The re-tooling of the Port Royal Naval Command defenses have been sped up from their already heightened pace, and other major Naval Bases which include, Sevilla Naval Command, Corregidor Naval Command, Norfolk Naval River Command, Trenton Naval Base, Anson Naval Base, and Hart Naval Base have been given orders to ensure Port Security by improving and expanded naval defenses, while maintaining security for the Federal shipping lanes.
