Construction of a new Aellis VI city has begun, but this will be a city of a different kind. Most Xanthalian cities are built for function and have very little in the way of engaging archetecture; Mac Anu, which will be built on the coast of the Beta Ocean, is planned to be an archetectural marvel and a celebration of water. The city is to be beautifully designed, with many clear ocean views and canals running through it. There will be a minimum of technology used in the city, and more simple and natural ways will be promoted within the city limits. High rises will not be built, and buildings will be constructed of natural materials. Mac Anu is expected to become the most popular of Xanthalian tourist destinations when First City opens to residents and visitors in about one decade.

Too few people appreciate .hack//SIGN becauser it has very little "action". This is a shame, since the beauty of the series is watching it from start to finish; watching the delicate twists in plot and character development. To form a picture both of The World and the real world from the series is the most beautiful of activities. To become engulfed in Mimiru's optimisim and happiness, Bear's paternal leanings, B.T.'s depth of personality both loyal and treacherous, Krim's nobility, Sora's hyperactive antics, Silver Knight's sense of honor and duty, Subaru's quiet strength, Tsukasa's pain in his reality and hopelessness in The World, Aura's mysterious purpose, and the supreme malicious evil of Morgana. The fulfillment of watching the beginning thread its way to the conclusion and the sinking feeling of knowing at the end that it is all beginning again... .hack//SIGN is THE most well-made anime of all time in my opinion.

I couldn't have said it any better myself. Almost everyone wants three things - Chasing, Fighting and Shootouts. Meh, our culture is so barbaric nowadays.
