In a joint effort, the United Socialist States of Equality-Liberty and the Democratic Socialist Union of the Aztec National League are creating the International Union of Socialist States (IUSS), an alliance of the world's Socialist nations. This is not an regional alliance nor is it discriminatory against anyone. These nations include


Democratic Socialists,
Scandinavian Liberal Paradise,
Liberal Democratic Socialists,
Left-wing Utopia, and
New York Times Democracy.


GENERAL INFORMATION:
The IUSS is an peaceful organization that does not intend to or threaten world domination. This alliance is primarily trade, political, humanitarian and financial aid.


The main entity of the IUSS is the Human Rights Watch, which (a) provides aid to countries in need, (b) contests UN proposals that contradict acceptable human rights, and (c) creates UN proposals that further the human rights policies of the world.
Members of the alliance will receive economic benefits and discounts (more information on that point is forthcoming).


Should you wish to join this organization or have quetions, you can either telegram the Aztec National League or Equality-Liberty or respond to this thread.

Regarding the IUSS, we wish to express our sincere interest and support of this organization. While the Socialist Commonwealth of Anhierarch presently does not fall into one of the listed UN categories, we would still like to apply to this organization.

However, we do ask for a concession regarding the statutes of this union - specifically, as we are part of a trade autarchy, we request exemption from any formal trade agreement of the alliance as a whole, except to member states that are part of the CACE or the IFTA - which we wholeheartedly reccomend.

Proposal of Alliance Affiliation

Acting in the interests of global solidarity and transnational unity between all freedom-loving, democratic socialists, we hereby propose the following to the member-states of the IUSS:

That this alliance, the IUSS, become affiliated with the International Fair Trade Agreement (IFTA), such that all members of the IUSS are also members of the IFTA, an extensive trading bloc which serves to protect member economies from market manipulation and unfair labor practices common in the global market. We encourage present members to review the IFTA Charter and hope that no objection should be found, as for the most part it consists of an alliance-wide minimum labor-law standard, which should already be met in a socialist state.

Should this not prove amenable to the membership at large, we nonetheless encourage all IUSS member-states to investigate the possibility of membership in the Coalition of Anti-Capitalist Economies and the IFTA.

We congratulate this alliance on its formation, and wish it the very best. Although our country is libertarian-socialist and as an anarchy ineligible for membership, we wish you the very best and hope to be considered as a friend of the alliance.

We also hope to establish trade relationships through the IFTA with members of the IUSS. The IFTA sets standards for workers' rights, but does not require socialism of its members. Civil rights lovefests, anarchies and other types of government are numbered among its membership.

The UN has rated us a 'Corrupt Dictatorship', despite the fact that we have democratic elections every three years, and no parties are banned. Hell, we allowed a party that said that we should shoot everyone because if we don't the aliens will get mad at us. It was the Shoot Everyone Because If We Don't Then The Aliens Will Get Mad At Us Party (the SEBIWDTTAWGMAU Party for short).

We are alos totally non-corrupt, as our Anti-Corruption Bureu executed corrupted officials or persons.

We grant extensive civil freedoms, as well as the right to vote and b free in our nation.
