::The camera shows the Derien high council, with Empress Katarina at it's head. After brief statements from each councilour, the view zooms in on Katarina. She briefly clears her throat, and then begins::
Greetings to the World. Some time ago we withdrew from world politics and cut all communications with other nations. No travel was allowed between our nation and others', and all our military assets were recalled. We never gave a reason for this, and so we shall attempt to explain this now. A month or so before our withdrawl we received intelligence from field agents. In the report submitted to us three terrorist groups were listed as highly dangerous. Now normally we would have merely increased security. However, the threat was not to us, but to others. The groups were based inside Derieties, formed of discontent members of the society who blamed all the problems on NATO. Their goal? to take down that alliance. Since that point the groups have been nullified. We are currently attempting to re-open channels of communication with past allies. For now, that is all we have to say. Goodbye.
:::with Katarina's final words the screen begins to fade black, and soon the transmission is over:::
