is the ranking atleast somewhat dependant on the RL world cup? Just curious, because in the South American Qualifiers of the Beach Football World Cup, Brazil used most all the same players as used in it's international matches (Ronaldinho, Ronaldo, Cafu, etc. etc.) and it whomped on Peru 8-1. So does the ranking at least somewhat transition over?

Nope Football World Cup players are forbidden from playing in the Futsal World Championships.

The Master Cooper would like to know when things will be getting underway, as it needs to book a mini-bus for the journey, and if we don't know soon, they'll all be booked.

The Progressans are planning a February 2nd start.

We are also going to use a modified KPB-based sheet for the scores. Sides will have a starting rank of 25% of their KPB rank for the outdoor game as of the end of WC11 qualifying (eg The Belmore Family, with a rank of 16.59pts, will start this tournament with 4.1475 KPB points). This levels the playing field (no pun intended) without preventing the established nations from having an advantage. It also means RP bonuses (1pt per RP unless it's notably good or bad) will have a big say on the outcome.

In addition, there will be changes in the formula constants, to allow more goals.

The present formula for outdoor football is:

RAND*660-580+12(difference of rank difference square roots)

The 580 in this formula is to be changed to 440, for this tournament.

 I forgot all about this

Must be WC that did it :D

I think TBF should host this actually - I doubt he'll ever host the outdoor Cup so let him prove himself (again :D) with the indoor version.
