The GDJ Colossus, Flagship of the Klonor Space Force and the most powerful warship ever built by Klonor, shall be docked for the next 2 NS years to undergo minor repairs and massive upgrading. This ship, though still the most powerful vessel in the Klonor armada, is decades old. Certain technologies have been made frightfully obsolete, and new weapons and systems have been developed that make the ones currently installed look like something from the medievil days (OOC Note: The "medievil days" in Klonor refers to modern time). The Colossus is falling further and further behind the lead ships of other nations and, though it can still hold it's own with any of them, it will not be able to for much longer.

The weapons and systems upgrades are expected to take approximately 1.5 NS years, the other half a year being put to the repairing of such minor damage that any ship will sustain while flying in the void. When the upgrade is complete the Colossus is expected to have almost double it's current abilities. Not just in combat, the advancements range in all directions.

Most notable in the upgrade will be the installation of a brand new miniaturized Harbinger Cannon. This weapon alone will half again increase the military might of this vessel.

We hope that all the upgrades go smoothly, and that we shall see this fine vessel out patrolling our borders again as soon as possible.

Somebody likes "Freespace" a little too much eh? Anyhow, how is your security around the Colusses' repair bay? Tremalkien Security Forces are always available for ample pay to secure even large projects such as this one.

In response to your statement regarding FreeSpace: Well, Duh!

I'm a FreeSpace tech nation, all my ships and technology are from the game series.

Regarding the security issue, the ship is docked at the military base in the Gamma Draconis system. This base, though assaulted countless times, has never even come close to being pierced. Klonor defenses are regarded as some of the best in the NS Galaxy, and our inhabited systems are nearly impregnable fortresses. In fact, we even have an extremely profitable business of designing and building planetary and system defenses for other space nations. Thanks for the offer, but we're just fine on our own.
