The Carida system, home of the Imperial Military Academy officially recognizes the resurrected Empire as the true heir to the galaxy as it has pledged its loyalty to the new Emperor. Carida has long been a bastion of Imperialism and anti-Rebellion sentiment. This came as no surprise, as it was seen as only a mateer of time before this happened. The new Galactic Empire now controls the Coruscant, Corellia and Carida systems. With Carida joining, they have added their planetary fleet of 5 Imperial II class Star Destroyers to the Imperial Armada.
