"My fellow Telochians," began Grandmaster Reis, "This day is a sad day for our land. Our honored founder, Father Vredyss, has passed in his sleep. It was not of malice or intent in which his final breath was taken, but from content heart. Father Vredyss lived a full life, and brought our empire to the glory which it is today." Pausing to wipe a tear from his eye, Grandmaster Reis continues in a trembling voice, "Father Vredyss was a special man. He took me in as a child and taught me all that I know to this day. He told me about the Creator and his glory, and the Keeper and his duty. Father Vredyss was truly a father to me, and many others. He will be remembered and honored for all time within Teloch. As of this day, I move that we shall have a marble statue created in his likeness in the center of our empire, standing tall and watching over his children like the Creator himself!"
A cheer rose from the mass before the alter at which the Grandmaster stood, and a celebration was held that evening to honor Father Vredyss' soul. The very next morning, the statue was already underway, the artists intending for it to stand well over one hundred feet high.
