Claim Question

I'm wondering, in preparation for a Research mission about to be commenced by one of the Foe Hammer Research fleets, if anyone has laid claim to any system in the following galaxies:

Equatorial______Supergalactic____Group____Blue____Type___Distance
Coordinates_____Coordinates______________Mag____________(Mly)
RA°______Dec_____L°_____B___________________________________

Name: M31, NGC224

Name: NGC4236

If there are no claim responses in two RL hours, I'll go ahead and start exploring those Galaxies.

Note: There must be a thread proviing that you have claimed that Galaxy or a system in that galaxy.

Any more specific names?

OOC: Don't know what those galaxies are.

These are all Galaxies within 20 million Lightyears of the Milky Way. NGC4236 is a Galaxy located in the Virgo Supercluster in the group M81, dominated by one of the largest Spiral Galaxies in the universe, M81. The M81 group is located in the constellation Ursa Major.

M31 is the Andromeda galaxy, the nearest major galaxy to the Milky Way. Together, the Andromeda Galaxy and the Milky way dominate the local group of Galaxies. About 2 million Lightyears out.

NGC247 is a Dimmed galaxy with no spiral. However, our intentions for exploring this galaxy is to find NGC253, a bright Spiral Galaxy.

Am I confusing you yet?

And nope, those are the assigned names. Don't worry, I'll give them better ones as soon as my ships explore them.

Just stay away from Cygunus X-1, that's a black hole.

Ahem, we claimed NGC4236 and NGC247 a while back. I would point you towards the thread but it was taken by the purges.

M31 is the Andromeda galaxy.

I can almost assure you that the Andromeda galaxy is taken...but there is a slight chance...

Ok, then that leaves NGC253 and the one on the list that isn't claimed.

What do you think is at the exact center of the universe? I know it's the Virgo Supercluster area, but what do you think is at the exact center?
